    I need to get into Hyatt. There's so much value in their program! Thanks for walking me through the status ladder. I have to figure out my status goals for 2025 and Hyatt is one I'm pondering 🤔

      To me this ladder is what makes getting status so much more intriguing. Hyatt's smaller footprint is annoying, but there really is a lot of value in their program

    Great video JP. Agree Hyatt Globalist is best Elite status. I have WOH card but for me 60 nights to achieve Globalist status is not realistic for travel with my family. That is why I value my Diamond status with Hilton for high redemption award stays, but I do enjoy my stays at Hyatt in FL.

      The Hiton Aspire card is the best in the game. I think you're doing it right.

    Back to back to back Hyatt stays, Hyatt Regency Indian Wells, Hyatt Regency Gainy Ranch (both fully on points) and next up Dreams Flora Resort and Spa……trying to get Grand Hyatt Baha Mar on the agenda! Thanks for all of the great tips! I signed up for the promotions in the App before my last stay and just received 6k points as a part of the promotion for stays I was doing anyway.

      Nice! I love that you got to stay at all those hotels.
      It feels good when the promotion aligns with travel already booked. It is like free points 🤑

    I am loving Globalist. Achieved it last year with a status match from AA. With the WOH personal CC and many trips, so far got me to 50 nights. Our biggest trip is coming up in 2 weeks Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, 3 rooms, 2 GOH and my globalist room. 6 free breakfasts, 5 free drinks a day and 50% off Hyatt managed F&B outlets.

    Been globalist the past 2 years and stayed at the PH Tokyo each year with the FNC! It's been amazing and I can't wait to see what they do with their renovations. Currently on 21 nights so far this year and hoping I can hit 60 nights again this year

    Great video JP! I got 20 nights last year, should hit 30 this year, with a shot at 40. Future Globalist I hope, but for now I will settle for Explorist

    I will hit Marriott Lifetime Platinum January 1, 2025, so I will begin staying @ Hyatt. It appears that the personal Hyatt is a better keeper than the business version, but I will get both for the SUB. Which do you have?

    Great video as always!! Checking in as a globalist where there is a club lounge, have you ever been told that there’s no access to the club lounge for your stay? As in the club is full or anything like that?
    I had the person that checked me in to the Hyatt regency Waikiki recently say that the club was full and that sometimes elite members get mad (I used a club access award as an explorist for that booking) when the club gets full.
    Doing the fast track promo so should be globalist in a few weeks 🎉 but just curious as to when I should apply these club access awards when I will have globalist. When do you usually use yours? Or do you usually gift them if you have globalist status?
    Thanks JP!!

    • @jpknowledge8852
      @jpknowledge8852  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've never been turned away. If you become a Globalist and this happens, I would call the hotel customer service line. That is unacceptable to me.
      Good luck with your status match challenge. When you become a Globalist, the club access passes pretty much become useless unless you have a 2nd room to book. I would just give them to a friend.

  • @geraldalves9107

    I'm not sure if I could ever reach Globalist given that I have a family but to get to at least 20 nights for two Club Lounge access with the 5 nights head start with the WOH personal card seems pretty attainable even if you're not a Hyatt loyalist. Could be worthwhile to use it with your significant other for those rare couple vacations away from the kids. Though maybe at that point, you're better off getting the Surpass or Aspire.

    • @jpknowledge8852
      @jpknowledge8852  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most people can't reach Globalist. It is pretty difficult to reach. The club access passes can give decent value, so I hope you get them. I wouldn't argue against getting either the Surpass or the Aspire card. They are great cards if you like to stay at Hilton properties.

  • @WhatsThePoints1
    @WhatsThePoints1 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Thanks for the serious knowledge transfer as always!
    So, maybe a pretty general question but how are you able to travel so many nights and how are you able to afford it?
    Unless you’re super flexible and have a bunch of cat 1/2 properties around I just don’t see how I could hit globalist without another Bilt promo
    On a related note I have noticed cat 5/6 properties a bit harder to find good points values lately, at least west coast US

    • @jpknowledge8852
      @jpknowledge8852  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I afford it by using points and miles for the vast majority of my trips 😁
      I put spend on my Hyatt card, which gives me 2 elite nights for every 5k spend. I get 5 elite nights for having the card. I also stay at Hyatt for most of my trips.
      If you can't reach Globalist, getting the Hilton Aspire card is the next best thing, in my opinion.

    Question - If you redeem one Hyatt Club Access award, is it good/valid for all nights of your entire stay (for example all six nights of your stay)? Thanks.

    • @jpknowledge8852
      @jpknowledge8852  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Correct. And it works up to 7 night for your stay

  • @DaKidDizzy1
    @DaKidDizzy1 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    So the Guest Of Honor Award pretty much cancels out the suite night upgrade award because they upgrade you on arrival based on availability am i right? Or is this based on what room you booked when adding the GOH award?

    • @jpknowledge8852
      @jpknowledge8852  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      GOH could get you a suite along with many other benefits, but the suite isn't guaranteed. If there is a standard suite available, they're supposed to upgrade you, but again not guaranteed.
      Suite upgrade award guarantees you that suite if available at the time of booking, so if you want the space, use this over the GOH.

    Good stuff JP. Do you stay at Hyatt’s for work? They aren’t convenient for me 60-70% of the time, which is why I’ve never pursued Hyatt status.
    Cheers

    • @jpknowledge8852
      @jpknowledge8852  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, I don't stay at Hyatt for work. A mix of credit card spend and nights stay is how I reach status.

      I can't argue with that. The Hilton Surpass and Aspire cards are both awesome and give you valuable status just for having the card. I like Hilton as well.
