    It's still not clear to me how transferring your Chase points to Hyatt helped you become a Globalist. Did you transfer your Chase points to Hyatt and then use those to book the 60+ nights you need to become a Globalist? If booking at the lowest Hyatt redemption rates of around 3,500-5,000 points/night then you used around 210,000-300,000 Hyatt points to become a Globalist in 60 days, correct?

      Exactly! 100% I will pin this as the top post- That is a great run down of what I did to achieve Globalist for free!

      That makes no sense unless Hyatt includes nights booked with points as qualifying nights toward status, which I don’t think they do?

      @@bfourney yes they do! Go for it!

      @@perk-life I just called the discoverist line and apparently nights booked with points DO NOT earn qualifying nights towards status (which is basically how points work everywhere). Also I did two nights booked with points earlier this month and they’re not reflected on my status.

      @@bfourney YMMV, my 7 nights from earlier this year (6 booked with points and 1 free night) all display as Qualifying Nights. From my understanding, as long as your Hyatt Membership ID is linked to the stay, then the nights will qualify.

    You went in circle explaining on how you use spent points without actually saying how you got globalist.

      I think he meant to say he used his Chase points to book 60 nights for free. At 60 nights you then get Globalist status for the rest of the year plus the following year.

    A lot of talking but you didn't really **explain** how you went from Chase cards to having Hyatt Globalist status.

    This video is missing one key thing. Could I please trouble you to explain how transferring points from chase lead to you getting Hyatt? Unlike other brands I am familiar with, are you saying that Hyatt nights paid for with points count towards hotel status. DId you stay a certain number of nights at the hotels in Bali you reference in this video? what did you do after transferring the points from chase to Hyatt to get the status?

    • @perk-life
      @perk-life  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep! Absolutely! When you transfer Chase UR points to Hyatt and redeem them- You still receive nights towards status- I stayed 60 nights at the 5k redemption value and was able to attain Globalist for free! To do this- You simply log into your Chase dashboard- Go to the card that has the points- Click transfer partners- Select Hyatt and input your Chase #- Then transfer- Simple as that!
