- My overview on the new Acmer P1 S Pro 6 watt laser engraver. I have has other machines from Acmer and have always had good luck with them. When they asked me to test out the new 6 watt, I thought it might be a good option for those who just want to engrave or are new to lasers. The machine also does great on paper used for crafting.
I will be giving the machine away after my testing has concluded. To enter the drawing, go to my website at theclackshack.com/acmer-p1-s-...

But, what if robots want access to a laser cutter? Oh wait, yeah. Skynet. Nevermind.
Closer everyday...lol
I have to admit it has a larger operational area than I expected for an entry level machine.
I was surprised as well.
Thank you very much. If I don’t win, I think this will be perfect for what I want. Great review!
Good luck!
Just because I'm a robot, you're excluding me?!?! Unfair!
Yep… no bots allowed
I look forward to finding out I won this machine! All kidding aside, I appreciate these videos.
Glad to hear it!
Thanks Clack for testing it with all the various materials. Super helpful for knowing what their 6w is capable of.
Glad it was helpful!
This would be perfect for etching our designs on our display cards!
It does a great job at engraving..
Very informative and thorough video. I have been watching your videos for quite some time. Even though I haven’t purchased a laser yet. Your videos are certainly helping narrow down what laser to purchase based on what the intended use will be.
Glad it helps… that is the best way to approach it for sure.
I really like the aesthetics of it, which really doesn't matter when it comes to it but it is kinda nice to have a nice looking machine. I might just get this as a backup (or maybe I'll win the giveaway!). It has an interesting design with Y motor being on the underside (I think it's the Y, I am always getting the axis mixed up), and the 4 vs. 3 rollers, it'd be interesting to know why they designed it this way. It looks like this could have potential with a few little upgrades. Thanks for another great vid :D
It is a well designed frame. The 4 rollers in more stable.
Exxcept for the colors, that looks exactly like my 10w Creality Falcon.
Lots of them are very similar
Looks like a cool laser!
Pretty cool
Very helpful, thank you!
Very welcome
They recently had a third anniversary event where they had a chance to get a free machine. I want to try it too😆
I think it is still going..
Would it work to engrave on rough sawn oak? I’m looking to engrave my logo on some projects for the nursery.
Youcan, you may have some unevenness in the burn from the saw marks.
Looks like you got it done up right
I tried
5.5 output?
