Thanks Rich, happy birthday and glad your better. Geoff
Many thanks Geoff! 👍
Thank you Rich, great little game
Thanks Rich, another great design and video. I think I am going to make a box to keep the game all together after play.
I did make one in the livestream.
If you make a storage box to put it all in, you can stand the top & bottom on edge a few inches behind the ramp to use as a backstop to keep the "coins" from skittering/rolling off of the table, so you won't need to crawl around on the floor to find them for the next round of play.
P.S. : Did anyone get the coin to go through the slot yet? ...seems pretty unlikely due to the clearance tolerances.
Nope, nobody got it in the slot... yet!
Nice project Rich, Thanks. Rather than moving pieces out of the way, I just turn off the output on the layer.
yeah me too. much easier
Yeah, the final project has the pieces on a separate layer to do just that.
So fantastic. Thank you. Happy Belated Birthday. I guess from now on, I should watch the whole video before I jump on the site to purchase the plans. Had already purchased and downloaded while watching the video before you showed the discount code! Oh well, Love your work Thank you again
Gotta look for those hidden messages Jay! 🤪
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy Yeah, I know. It's all good!
Happy birthday
Thank you!!
Cool version on a popular game and happy birthday! Sanding doesn’t seem to work well for me either🤣
Thanks!
Happy birthay rich
Thanks! 👍
Just grabbed it..want to support you and this channel..thanks so much...omg..just paid for it..oh well still thanks
Hope you enjoy it! I know you will.
Belated B'Day wishes Rich, Instead of the exacto knife to get your parts out, I prefer to wrap a bit of tape sticky side out around a couple of fingers, Then you just tap the part and lift it away from the backing sheet. Less risk of an accidental slip of the what will be a template back board.
Thanks! I do that quite a bit with Gorilla tape.
Thank you for all your videos . i've learn more from watching and rewatching your videos .
Awesome Ralph! 👍 Thanks for watching!
Nice one Rich be great for our 14 grandkids haha
You need to make *a bunch of them* George!
When I need to flip items in this sort of project I usually use a piece of 2 inch masking tape to pick up the pieces to flip, provided my cut settings were successful.
I prefer to pick them out and lay them directly over on their side. This way the line up perfectly on both sides and go into the same holes.
If you have the Roly Mk2 you can pick the board up, pick the pieces up, put the board back, and put the parts back in. I’ve done 3 with no issues
I wonder if there is a way to incorporate a way to latch the boxes together? I am picturing the boxes flipped and oriented to make a box that you could store the game pieces in for a travel set. Would have to figure a way to keep the pieces from falling out of the holes. OH well just thinking out loud. Great design.
I made a box for it in the livestream last Sat night.
Happy belated B-Day
Thanks so much Thurman!
Can't wait to make it, but a quick question. It looks like inside your enclosure you have a bottle of dielectric grease, what do you use that for?
It's outside, on the table. I use that to grease the linear rails when I do cleaning and maintenance David.
This is very cool. Do you think you could design a box for these two games to fit in?
I already did in the Livestream Saturday night.
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy Thank you I made the boxes for the ones I've made. This is a really cool idea.
Hey Rich, Have the same sheets you used, but my fit was a little loose, is there something in LB that I can change to make the tabs and slots tighter without messing with the file?
Look at his video for kerf offset. The name is "Understanding your laser Kerf and how to set it up for perfect cuts!"
You can use a kerf offset on the laser or you can also use the resize slots and tabs feature in Lightburn.
I thought there was a link to this particular brand/size of plywood 🤷🏽♂️
This is the link in the description: amzn.to/3KCDWIU
Nice. Gonna see some gambling in the future. lol. What size did you make the hole and slot.
Happy birthday
Worked perfectly on the Roly 30w
Hole is 33mm, coins are 25 and the slot is 27x4.
Thanks!!
Glad you like it!
Hey rich me a bit late, but I really would love to have the file to create on for my nephew for school holidays, I tried with the coupon but expired 😢
Yes, the coupon has expired.
Where do you get your wood for $1.25. I costs me $2.50 a sheet, that’s the best I can find.
amzn.to/44vnVNv
Love your videos! How do I get this file for free? I tried logging into your site but not able to enter the coupon code.
I don't know why, 645 folks have used the coupon code already.
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy Thank you. I figured it out. FYI did you realize coinhole is trademarked?
coinhole and pocket coinhole are the trademarks. Mine is not one word.
$.62 each? Where are you buying your wood? Wow. Also you are not taking into consideration the cost of laser operating time which can be $.50 - $1.00 a minute.
This is the wood I mentioned: amzn.to/44vnVNv And I don't count laser operating time, since it's 99% unattended and running in the background. I was talking material costs Jack.
Wow! Absolutely brilliant!! My theory is still holding true, the more I watch the smarter you become 😊
Cool game! I wanted to see you play!!!! I bet it is near impossible to get the chicken dinner lol Gotta make some :)
It wouldn't play on the pressboard workbench Mike. All of the pronounced grain made the coins bounce in all directions except straight!
