I just need to say that I LOVE your honesty. Every other famous person in TH-cam will be promoting the lasers that they get more profit with. I don’t think that’s your case. Thank you.
Hey Clack! This was an outstanding walkthrough of what it is like to use this machine in real world application. Thank you so much! I had just put an order in for this a few days ago and I’m brand new to laser engraving/cutting. This will be my first one. Despite a few limitations like framing (which should get solved with software), it seems like it’s a great all in one package.
Thanks for the review, really like this machine. Nice and compact design. Like the lifting mechanism and the fact that it's got everything in the enclosure.
Fume extraction is nice. Quaint little laser. Purchased my 32" x 18" NEJE S2 Master about 3 years ago, and am just getting around to fire it up for the first time. Had medical issue that set me back in my quest to set up a laser and carving CNC. My carving CNC will have 72"X axis, 96"Y axis, 10" Z axis cut/carve area. Will have to get in touch when everything is running. May have to use you for wood purchases. I am not physically able to process trees like you. I do live nearby in Clanton, not far from you. I do know G code and CMM programming since I am a retired test engineer. I have Lightburn and Carveco Maker Plus, in addition I use Inkscape for additional image manipulation. Keep up the good work.
Like you. I bought the same lazer engraver. Fixing to start playing with it. I dont now anything. It amazed me at how much improvement in the new lazer there is now. Hope all works out for u.
Very nice. I might consider one for taking to craft shows. I would like to see a larger work area (at least comparable to GloForge). Thanks for the review!
Great infor video new at laser stuff. Actually ordered mine in the early bird deal like a few months ago still hadn't got it the looking forward to get started.
First: thanks for showing the rotary function. Second: have the AI prompt say something like "a bear on a white background" and now you don't need to remove the background! =)
I’ve been hoping you would get this machine to show us. Question, you were showing us camera slightly off. Does the software allow adjustment like Lightburn does. And I’m assuming not compatible with Lightburn. And I agree, that button would be a pain.
I haven't found an adjustment yet but they have been open to software changes so far. I have been discussing some tweaks I would like to see. Also, they say it is lightburn compatible but I can't confirm yet. I am gonna try in the next few days.
Thanks for the review! Man, the built-in air assist, the built-in rotary, the 600mm speed and the auto-lifting are all excellent features that made me want to pre-order this machine. That's until you showed the disparity between the image placement and the engraving. I know you see it as "very close", BUT for me, that distance is too much... That's a very big concern on my end. Anything with frame and border on square material like coasters for example, is going to be a pain to keep the design centered. I went through a nightmare with the xTool M1; The alignment on that machine is AWFUL! Bought a D1 so maybe I could get better alignment through Lightburn (which I'm in early learning process). So, I was about to rush and replace my M1 with the Vision. Well, thanks for making hit the pause on this 🙂. I'll wait to see if they improve on the alignment cause all the other features are worth nothing if I'm going to lose a bunch of materials
I saw in another video where the reviewer was having the same issue. He reached out to the company and there is a way to fix it. He did a walk through on how. I’m looking to buy my first laser machine. I really like this one. I was hoping to like the Xtool S1, but I don’t know.
Can you help me out, i just got the wecreat machine, and I can't get it to do anything like I got it up but nothing I load engraves right, either too light or too dark, nothing is defined in the final engraving.
I am aware of Optical density, I did not mention the OD rating because I cannot confirm it. The glass is ORANGE as I stated. As with all other machines that I have used, none of the orange, red or green panels come with a certificate. If you would like more information, their website is here.. wecreat.com/
I was interested in this machine.... but then started to look at their stock product photos they used to show what their machine can do. Under the ceramic section, all the photos are nothing the laser can do. Those are all done pre-glaze, you can see the rounded edges of the white glaze on the jar. Lasers give sharp square edges, but all the products shown have rounded 'pillow' edges you get from hours of molten glaze in a kiln, best seen when the light reflects on those rounded edges. No laser can do what they are showing in those stock photos for ceramics and implying it can do that. I guess if they want to put up 4 lies there.... then what else is faked? I appreciate the review and sure there are plenty of things good with this machine, but my red flags fly when their page makes a lot of bold claims of their machine, yet they resort to doing that. Love all the work you do Clack and have always found great inspiration from you and your works. Though this one does feel like a clone of another highly engineered enclosed machine that happens to be releasing and shipping a the same time...
How does a guy go about testing lasers,I've always wanted to do this I'm a hard working guy who loves to learn an see new things an can put the work in if the company is willing to help out aswell let me know

Thank you.
I can guarantee, I am honest in my statements. My reputation is worth more than a little money
I can see that!
I can see that!
I can see this as the ideal laser for schools, even younger kids classes than any other I have seen.
It is loaded with tech and features. I like it even with the small work area.... surprised..

For the work area size, it isn't bad. It does have all the needed parts.
@@TheClackShack thanks!

Wow, that is a large CNC. Nice.. Unfortunately, I am limited currently due to some back issues..
@@TheClackShack Sorry to learn about your back, I had to adapt to my back issue. Not a fun experience. Best of luck to you. Be well as possible.

It is fun but addictive... enjoy
I saw a different reveiw, had the same issue with camera. The tech folks told himto recalibrate the camera, fixed the problem.
I will have to find the calibration but will do so before my next video.
I see that you have an exhaust hose set up, is that the $600 fume extractor? Is the machine quiet enough to use in the house instead of garage?
It is fairly quiet, I just ran a hose out from it. Worked good for me.

Their web site does mention Lightburn compatibility but gives no details at this time.

Look similar to lasermatic mk2 by roly automation
Fantastic review 🎉
It has some of the same design ideas for sure.
Hi clack at this price point, are there other laser cutters you would consider ?
This machine to me, is specific to certain people that need an all in one.

I feel that the software will get an upgrade soon. The camera seems to be good quality, it just needs a little better accuracy

I'm trying to figure out how to cut 1/4" MDF. Nothing I do achieves this. Can you help?
MDF can be very stubborn, multiple passes.
@@TheClackShack I've done 3 passes. I'll try more. Thanks for your response. Your videos have been very helpful with all the other things I've done.
Is there already a fan to extract the fumes, or is this something we should add?
It has a fan built in. Really no need to add anything
Could you please tell me how big the working areas of this machine and how much
It’s about 12x17, link to product in the description
Can you help me out, i just got the wecreat machine, and I can't get it to do anything like I got it up but nothing I load engraves right, either too light or too dark, nothing is defined in the final engraving.
Speed and power tests are key. Test each material for best settings
Can I input my own pattern, and use WeCreat to cut through a image ? and how?
You can design it and import the file. File design is a complex but versatile process.
Great Review.
Thanks
It’s not because it has orange Acrylic, that it is laser rated and safe to use. Does it have a certificate with the OD mentioned ?

Does the Vision 20 have a pass through opening?
I doesn't, the workpiece size is limited to the bed.
That’s a bummer. Still a innovative feature rich machine. Maybe we’ll see a pass through in the Vision Pro??
Can you calibrate the camera? Add some offset? Looks like it fires 2mm high.
