    For those who are trying to do it in Blender 4.1 - the texture at 2:11 is now a noise texture with the normalize box unticked.

    Thank you for the tutorial! I finished it but at the end i see you have a few more nodes than i do. Is there a tutorial for the rest? And is there a tutorial for the other tree barks?

    Arigatou gozaimasu~! This was a super cool tutorial! I've never worked with the Displace modifier before, but now I definitely will a lot more! (And I, for one, actually don't mind the music. It reminds me of the chiptune music from the classic 80s arcade games.) Thanks for the awesome tutorial, dude!

    thats weird. I was trying to follow all steps and got the bark looking completely different way and not realistic at all. When author showed all the nodes in the end of the video and number of it did not match the number of my nodes. I can not see on the screen which one are added. have to search for another tutorial

    you did not tell us about a 4th texture, 2 color ramps another mix node. are you able to update us on that?

  • @kalex07
    @kalex07 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Connecting the mix to the color ramp turned the texture pink. People are saying that its a missing texture file but im not using texture files.

    Hey there, awesome video, I'm new to Blender, I used vertices to build my tree out, I was adding textures before but this is so much better, the thing is I don't know how to now get my tree to a format that I can use the loop cut tool. I'm wondering if anyone here can help me, would be awesome. In other words, I've hit a stump lol

    • @scrap_cg
      @scrap_cg  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching! The loop cut tool may not work well if the topology is not organized to flow nicely. why not search TH-cam for how to make a stump? I found several videos that might be helpful.

    I love it! I'd like to make a similar material and import it to the game engine but I have one question. You also modified the mesh, could I just adjust the material more and add some more variation to bump map for the same effect? I'm new to it but I'm aware that I need to bake this material in orded to use it in the game, so I'm wondering how to achieve the same effect without modifying the mesh. I would appreciate some tips.

      Thank you for watching my video and commenting! If you want to make it more realistic, displacement maps are better as my tutorial video, but bump maps can be substituted! I hope your project will works well✨🙌

    Hello, even though I do almost everything the same, I can't get a realistic image. It looks like an oil painting, can anyone help?

    Can i export that model into stl file and then print it on my 3D printer? Will it look the same as in blender model? I need to get a bumpy print model, so it would look as good as a Real wood but from 3D printer

    At 11:20 your tree bark is stretched in the Z direction. What am I missing that I have otherwise?

    hello I am trying to make a tree with procedural texturals and I want to know if there is any way that both the textures and the tree model can be done with the tree addon because I want to do it fast. lower the maximum weight possible so that my project goes as smoothly as possible. and if it is an open world game

    • @scrap_cg
      @scrap_cg  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Umm..🤔 How about "Modular Tree" or "Sapling Tree Gen" addon?
