Great video. We vacation in La Jolla every year and I always bring my bike. I’ve hit every location you’ve featured here with the exception of that topiary garden (I’ll definitely have to check that one out next trip). A ride to Oceanside and back is a good one as well as a ride to Coronado with maybe a ferry ride included. SD has the best places to cycle, also some of the most incredibly fit cyclists.

Thanks to your video I did your route (part of route anyway) the 28th of October last week. Started out late, almost didn't go, not really prepared for it, but watched your video again so decided to do it. Started at Intercon. Passed thru Little Italy, Harper's Topiary (didn't expect that uphill) then Old Town, Fiesta Island, Mt Soledad, Mission Beach, Sunset Cliff, then have to cut it short to go via N Harbor Drive back to the hotel cause it's almost sunset and I don't have lights. Enjoyed it very much.
I'm an avid biker in LA and SD, You missed so many amazing bike paths along the San Diego River, through and around Balboa Park, La Jolla, Mission Bay. So many great bike paths in SD, the only complaint I have about SD is there is very little shade, compared to Los Angeles. LA is amazing for biking
How was the cycling infrastructure while you were there? Any protected intersections? Bike paths separated from the road? Do you think cycling is practical for day-to-day tasks, or only leisure?

Very nice video. But as a Dutch cycling native wher are the bike lanes.
There are dedicated bike paths throughout San Diego. Many regular roads have cycling signs too for cars to be aware 😍👍
