    I'm familiar with June gloom; it made its way into Riverside where I grew up. I left because it was so expensive in the early 2000s but I now have more work skills and experience and I think I could make it work. I know how to find bargains. Housing would be the one problem. And smog checks on the car. Around 9:00 That footage looks so much like Lake Michigan.

    At 3:30 she is standing in Bay Park, the typical home there will be around 1.1 and the rent will be about 3-5k if not more if they are in an association. That 1.1 won’t be a mansion but pretty decent luxury. If you want to save a lot of money. Find rent or a home close to the trolleys. You will save ALOT of money if you only have to make short distances. Our main tourist area is the gas lamp and downtown area, it will never quiet down. Sirens every other minute and it’s dirty all over. Do what I do and find a fuel efficient car and drive the main backroads to stay off the freeway. I drive for a living, you will get there at the same exact time whether you take the freeway or not. Everywhere you go is scenery basically, that’s nice. The ocean breeze is unlike any other. Growing up in it and now living in the mountains the air is way better down by the ocean 😂 it’s dry everywhere else and full of pollen here. There is only one river. One spring. 100+ trails to hike + horse trails + 1 waterfall and then the Bay. In the past, >1980 the entire region was a wet swamp like Louisiana. They barged it out and created all the waterways that you see today over the past 50 or so years.

    • @realtorjamielennon
      @realtorjamielennon  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      One great thing about SD is that there are many transplants, such people are open to connecting and building relationship. There are TONS of networking events, social meetups and group events. As long as you open yourself up, you will meet like minded people. Living in a more urban area will be the best bet too because these areas are known for having younger residents. Heading into the suburbs you'll get a more slowed down, family oriented community feel. So picking the right place is key!

      I feel that. I’m a city girl myself. Nothing will really compare to Chicago… but in my opinion SD is much better than LA. But it’s subjective, of course. SD’s weather is unmatched. Housing in the US is equivalent to being a peasant in feudal times - and that is one of the reasons I moved out of the US all together. Just for comparison, I pay $300 per year!!!! in property taxes, not to mention that for $300,00o you can get a flat comparable to any in the US, minus the traffic hassles, have a better social live, and be surrounded with cafes, restaurants, hospitals (did I mention there is UNIVERSAL health care her?, Yeah, that is right.) Plus no weekly police killings of civilians, nor citizens armed to the teeth, the water is warm, and you can swim in December. Finally, there are many cultures and peoples from all over the world, and we all get along.

    People are sleeping on San Diego. LA is just worse in every single way. San Diego without a car is at least manageable compared to LA which will save you up a lot of money. I’m very close to buying a home after a decade living carless! Find something close to the trolley and you’ll be set. The scenery, nature, air, people is amazing! The city is growing a lot too. Tons of development going on and will break ground. It might be a bit more expensive than San Francisco but it’s way safer and traffic is better. The most friendly people in California too.

    The police are friendly, beautiful bodies everywhere, you never have to make alternative plans due to whether, 70 plus public golf courses, nearly zero unemployment, it goes on and on, yes there are homeless; so, go help someone! This is a great place to live your life, the way you want, with no politicians swimming in your soup.

    Property crime, homelessness, overcrowding, crumbling infrastructure, inundation of undocumented immigrants, highest gas and electric rates in the country, water pollution, wages that aren’t even coming close to keeping up with the cost of living, no parking, alcoholism, and a lot of drug abuse.
    These are just some of the issues that lurk below the surface in San Diego and it’s all getting worse. I hope it turns around… but it sure doesn’t seem that way.

    San Diego is incredibly beautiful, and the weather is great. That's about it for the plus sides. Costs are out of control; unless you are rich, and I mean RICH, you won't be buying a house there. Homeless are everywhere. Illegals are flooding in. The crime is rising fast. And too many crazy people who wear masks while driving alone in their cars.

    Hello. Sorry to bother you. My name is Oksana. I'm from Ukraine. For Ukrainians, the American government created the U4U refugee assistance program. I want to ask you for help for my family. So that I and my family of 4 people and 2 cats could get to the USA. You need to fill out a questionnaire in the U4U program and help adapt in the country. Maybe if you can't, your friends can. Sorry to bother you once again. Good day.
