I'm really glad you're including the state parks as well. The U.S. has so many fabulous state parks and there are also wonderful regional and urban parks in many areas. Medoc Mountain seems really nice and peaceful. I lived all my life in Southern California and now the Las Vegas, NV area so I really enjoy seeing the forested areas where it's nice and shady!
I totally agree! It's interesting as we go around the country to see the different perspectives. Someone like you out west thinks forests, big leafy trees and tall pines are new and beautiful where as us easterners take that for granted. On the other hand, the easterners think red rocks and barren, brown mountains are super unique and pretty and the westerners think that's just the way things are. Very interesting.
The park just redid alot of park trail signs, New trail blazes and new names, they been working on it last 2 days and again tommorrow, they expect to release new maps with all the new stuff within week

I was thinking about going but after watching your video, I don’t think I will. I like the bridge but there is no incline… thanks for taking us along
I tell it like it is.... It's not on the top of my NC State Park list but still a nice place to hang out. The word "mountain" is misleading.
The locals pronounce "Mee Dock".
