My friend Alan, any chance you could make a follow-up video with all of these speakers, but then with your personal tuning (on all of them)? Would be interesting to see how far they can improve and also improve vs each other.

Anker, like all corporations, needs to cut costs on production, while slowly upping the price. The earlier Anker - Soundcore audio hardware was great, Bluetooth speakers and headphones all under priced and over delivered. Now they've creeped up to the competition in price, without any improvements in the actual hardware. Quality went down, price went up. Still decent, but I'm not recommending Soudncore to friends anymore looking for audio hardware for a good budget price. And in todays economy, people asking for recommendations REALLY care about price.
chcek Oluv Gadgets channel he highly recommend and still working and tunning on 80w boombox Earfun Uboom X all those in this video test will knocking out down in big shame! uboom speakres from earfun are now best on maket in price/quality /power

More money for marketing, less for quality. I don't really see anything new. I'd rather buy a Tribit Stormbox blast. There is a saying that the smoke is bigger than the flame. This is absolutely true for this speaker.
Yooo, the Earfun Uboom X is coming, oluv's tuned. He's saying it's better than the stormbox blast. What about you Alan, yo excited ..? I think the X can do what the Boom 2 Plus couldn't do.
@@alanrossreviews yes I am waiting for UboomX early bird, which should priced around 150-200, I heard it would be 180 dollars, with early-bird it might get down to 150 dollars. But If Earfun fucked up this speaker just like what they do to UboomL then I would be mad as fuck.
FINALLY a true review on the boom 2 plus. Thank you Alan for your transparency. Ive been listening to different videos/reviews and i dont hear deep bass on the soundcore but then every reviewer says "EARTH SHAKING BASS" or something similar. Ill happily keep my stormbox blast :)
Five hours... one hour, I don't care. You are reliable, honest and also you got me into the fantastic world of bluetooth speakers and especially the ones from Soundcore (those, I mean). So I've been waiting for your review of this Boom 2 Plus for a long time. And again: another failed product from these guys. My Motion Booms on TWS are still an aural delight... and they do get (or stay pretty close) to those 40 Hz. We love you, Alan. Don't go anywhere and keep filling a part of our lives.
Great video. Thanks for the comparisons! Saved me some money. Keep ignoring the haters, you're doing a good job on giving a fair and honest review, of multiple products too!
Thank you so much for taking the time to really break this all down. So valuable to anyone looking to make an informed decision based on reality instead of marketing! Thank you!
We need a custom eq video, just like Motion+ and Boom. Pretty sure can make the sounds better, especially reducing that mid/upper bass madness and brings up deep bass?
Master Alan, I've been using your equalization for years on my Anker Soundcore Motion Plus... A few weeks ago I purchased the JBL partybox 320 and equalized it, approaching the motion plus equalization, the result was surprising, I thought it was better than JBL's signature sound. If you can, equalize a partybox and make a video. Thanks and a big hug from Brazil.
Yeah I've come to resist the urge to buy anything right around launch. Whatever early bird deals they have will be dwarfed by discounts though inevitably offer. And you don't want to get sucked up into the hype. Like I bought the Liberty 3 pro that almost full price and if I had waited 2 months I could have got it 60 bucks less. That's the last soundcore product I bought.
Man, for once I have to fundamentally disagree with your personal opinion in one aspect specifically... Yeah the highs are a little subdued in this one but for the love of god, it is the only one in this class I can think of that has come out recently and does not have an annoying peak in the highs somewhere (usually around a crossover point). I don't even know how you can say the Motion Boom Plus is a more pleasant listen when you just can't get rid of that fatiguing peak in the treble even with the EQ. I was really worried when you started trashing this speaker that my ears were truly garbage but... You have confirmed my observations which were that it had way too much mid bass but the high end was rather balanced for a speaker in this class, especially at 80% volume or so. I have measured studio monitors with a less flat freq response from 300 hz up than this thing (yeah, I know DSP is making this thing listenable). The low end... yeah I know it isn't great. I had a strong feeling that the deep bass they were beating their chests about just wasn't there but I wasn't sure if the boosted 60hz-ish was just overbearing or not. Then again, when the "pro equalizer" deep bass band only went down to 48 hz, I kinda knew what the real deal was. I did find your observation about the silly LED lighting cap on the PRs to be rather interesting though. One of the first things that I noticed about this speaker was how bulky the damn radiators are. Something absolutely went very wrong in Soundcore around the time of the Motion Boom Plus release. I do however feel like someone in that organization is trying to right the ship but marketing and probably other high level execs (whoever thought they needed that massive light show on the passive radiators) are sabotaging them. I am glad I at least got the $40 USD off code for this. Even though I really like the high end, this is not a $250 USD speaker in my opinion. The bass issue blew that. $200... maybe. When we start seeing it for around 180 is when I think it is an excellent value. But then again, I go back to my outdoor listening experience with this vs the Boombox 2 and at 80% volume or so, I still kinda like this speaker better for a lot of music Genres. It also doesn't seem to fall apart and start blatting etc when pushed hard at high volume like a lot of the earlier soundcore stuff. I hate to say it but it feels like you are letting your opinion of this thing get colored by your view of the company. But on the flip side, it is your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it. I do think I am going to need to spend some time muddling with the "pro eq" to try and tame that mid-base some.
@@alanrossreviews Dude. I am not "turning" on you. I am just fundamentally objecting to your opinion on this one! You do seem a bit jaded these days though man. You are still doing a great job but maybe this is grinding you down?
@@akop87 Thanks man. I feel bad for Alan. I dunno if this Soundcore Boom 2 Plus was the straw that broke the camels back but it kinda sucks how bad he took it and my comment. He actually gave Oluv's speaker a fairer review than this thing. I certainly didn't mean to piss him off. You never know what a person is going through though I guess. I certainly hope he can find a way to get back into the reviews. But if it is affecting him like this, he should stay away for sure.
Thanks for another good show, I think there were loads of us waiting for this review. It looks as if Soundcore just keep adding to their range without discontinuing anything, the range is just crazy. If I may suggest, when you find and share custom eq, calli it " Als lugg'oles" sounds much better than Olafs Ultimate Ears. 🤣
Exactly. Personal preference. Come to u for the facts, also your opinion is usually spot on with mine if i go elsewhere for my reviews i get big words and a script or just what is written on thebox repeated to me 👊
Great review! I got it for 150€ and use it on electronic music with a heavy emphasis on mid-bass rather than bass or sub-bass. Price was my number one criteria, so it fits the bill. Might get the W-King X20 next after watching your video. Thanks for the valuable information!
So Boom 2 Plus has bass, but it's not deep enough. I like bass, but on a Boombox, I want deep bass. If I want loud deep bass, then I would choose speakers that have a bass port. SVS subwoofers and JBL Partyboxes.
@@alanrossreviews sounds comparable to my blast but sometimes it's warm or bright. Idk but I'm also waiting for my bb3 to come. Got the bb3 for 310 usd from the 6.6 sale. Boom 2 plus sounds okayish. Maybe I'll need to play with the eq but I'm leaning more on the blast. Cool weird side lights though.
What makes or breaks these speakers is the custom EQ, if you slide the parametric lowest to 53Hz and up it to +4dB tweak up the mids and top, it can be made to sound quite pleasant and certainly puts it into a different light.

I’ve watched multiple comparison videos between this speaker & the X20. It was a curb stomping. The X20 was considerably louder & much cleaner with more detail. The W-KING X20 sells on Amazon full retail for $319.99, but it’s been marked down to $224.99. I own one these speakers & all I can say is if you want a speaker that hold it’s sound together at max volumes, look no further.
Thx Alan for this video! I think it improved a bit since the last updates. I have both, the Motion Boom Plus and the Boom 2 Plus, and i have to say that boom 2 Plus is much better made and feels much higher quality . I Would say the sound is more or less on the Gen1 level and i am quite happy with it. Does sb. have a good custom EQ Preset to share???
I will not buy a speaker before I see you review it, as of the moment I sent a Soundcore Boom 2 Plus back to Amazon. In my opinion the thing is not so grand. I did hear you say, what I am presuming is "most" speakers are tuned to work best using the in app EQ. So is it a good idea to set my streaming app's EQ as close to flat as possible to avoid damage to a speaker and or to take advantage the speakers in app EQ. Keep up the good work and let the haters hate.
This has to be one of the best reviews on this speaker on TH-cam hands down. I appreciate all the effects you put into your reviews. I'm going to have to agree with you and what you said about it. It may sound impressive until you put it against another similar speaker like the boombox 3 or Tribit stormbox blast. At the price they are asking for it is simply just too much. If i had actually paid 250+$ for mine i would've definitely returned it but i got them to send me one completely for free so i guess i can't complain about that🤣 However that still won't stop me from sharing my honest opinion about the speaker and my opinion definitely matches what you said in this video. This speaker is just overhyped and overpriced. If it was priced more accordingly i wouldn't have had a problem with it but unfortunately it just isn't.
I bought it, not because of shills, but because of you. Those mids and highs were too good to skip. 😝 I used the parametric EQ to shift the bass deeper, without losing the punchy nature. In default, bass sounds terrible, I definitely agree with you. With some EQ, it's bass is still fat (mid bass focused) but, without doing too much, unlike default. It still doesn't go as deep as the Blast in my opinion, but now I enjoy it. A nice warm sounding speaker. 😊
@@alanrossreviews It's rare I don't have to touch mids and treble so EQing took literally two minutes lol. Too bad it doesn't go that deep, it would be my favorite speaker 😭 With my EQ, I prefer it over Motion Boom Plus though
@@Clayspeed I agree ! I used the parametric EQ, 48hz +6, 102hz -4, 190hz -2, everything else left as is, because mids and highs are like perfect. It’s still warm and punchy, doesn’t go as deep as the Stormbox Blast, and it’s VERY far from Boombox 2 or 3 in depth. But it’s definitely usable now. And I’d even say it’s fun ! A punch focused Boombox that sounds great. However, If mid and upper bass is still too much, I’d recommend to put 102 hz to -5 or even -6, and 190hz to -3 or -4. But at that point it would be like forcing the speaker to do something it cannot do. It doesn’t play in an hearable way under 47hz, no matter how much your reduce mid and upper bass, its deep bass is lacking. I chosed to embrace its nature, and just rebalance its bass for it to sound good.
Didn't you measure the frequency response and the track's frequency response exactly the same way, pointing the mic on-axis to the woofers ..? I don't think it's the passive radiators issue. They are probably detecting the difference between a frequency sweep and music tracks. So just to get that 40 Hz claim, the detection is probably letting the drivers reach lower frequencies while only doing the frequency response measurements. Real tracks are getting blocked and not reaching the achievable low-end. I don't think it's the plastic stripe thing glued to the rads causing the problem. Are you sure about that ..?
no recordings are not like a measurement. i prefer recordings for a better real world feel of what the speaker is doing. i cant be sure no, im just guessing, having ridges and a hollow cap stuck on the passives is not going to help thats for sure.
@@alanrossreviews Yeah, but I hope the ridges are not enough to cause that big of a difference. Probably the OG motion boom has more deeper bass than the B2+ ...
@@godspeedsr1471 Mifa Wildbox with old firmware definitely sounds deeper than this, it does actually start to have some rumble, it plays down to 47hz pretty consistently
@@godspeedsr1471 It does have issues on old firmware with the whole "absolute volume turned off or you don't get any bass" thing. But outside of that, to this day, it's still my favorite speaker for the size. New firmwares sounds like crap though
Good video bud, I watch a lot of your videos. I'm really impressed with what the x20 can do but I still stand by the motion boom plus overall on what I've seen and heard. If the tribit had usb c charging I'd probably have one based on you can change the e.q. but to me it sounds muddy otherwise and I've had my ears cleaned out 😂

@@HAIYANE9910lol uboom x will be on that same level of bass like partybox 100 level on 50-60% with bass mode probably, also oluv made it sound way more natural than uboom l was, he boosted on uboom l treble so it can still sounds good off axis, in uboom x he didnt do that because it have tweeters
i honestly love my soundcore motion boom 2 +, for the price i think its quite good. my whole room shakes from the bass and i think the highs mids and lows are all quite good. it is also really light compared to other speakers of the same size. if there is a discount i recommend buying it. the EQ on the app is also very nice.
Haha, 30 mins into the video I realize you’re the Alan Ross that the Custom EQ on my motion boom plus is named after 😄 Thank you for it, I love the speaker overall as battery is nice and it literally floats in the pool, had great fun with it, but w/o your eq is not even close. So glad to have found it right after buying it!
@@alanrossreviews thanks. Based on your review of plus 2 i ordered another motion boom plus to hate it in stereo. For listening music next to the pool it does an amazing job. At least for my ears
Stuff stuck on the PR reduces its in-box resonance frequency, so that's actually a good thing, unless it's reduced too low. The Mifa Wildbox PRs for example each use a large metal "ring" that's mounted on the inside of the PR to do this, so from the outside it looks like just a basic plastic PR, but there's a bit more going on "under the hood" :-). It looks like Soundcore decided to do a bit more with the extra weight that needed to be added and made a light show out of it :-). The PR's in-box Fb does set the limit to how low the speaker can go though. Below that, the output from the PRs and drivers goes more out of phase, reducing bass output, and both start to run out of excursion anyway. The DSP in these units is usually set to cut the bass below Fb before that happens. End result - bass response falls off a cliff below the PR's in-box Fb. So 40 Hz from a 50 Hz-tuned PR? Good luck with that. FWIW, I'd be a bit more worried about the size of the PR's surround. Typical engineering goal is to have the PRs being able to move twice as much air as the drivers can. The surround for those PRs looks a bit small to accomplish that. A THD response curve will show if that's the case.
Usually, the weights are on the interior of the passives, not on the exterior. I don't have the knowledge to know if that makes a difference, but if literally everyone adds weights to the passive on the inside, there's probably a reason why 🤔 I definitely agree on the gains of adding weights to the passives though, and Wildbox is a great example. Compared to Motion Boom, which likely didn't have weights considering how the PRs move and still going less deep, Wildbox sounds tighter in the bass. It really have a lovely bass
@@ThibautMahringer It shouldn't make a difference if it's on the inside or the outside, once the weight is centered as much as possible and the PR itself is stiff enough. Could be though that the Soundcore PR's design has more of the weight lying outside the plane of the suspension, which could cause some issues, but look, we're talking about a cheap BT speaker here, so ... :-). None of these BT speakers use a design to stop the PRs from rocking for example. I think most people have the PR weight on the inside simply for cosmetic purposes. No-one wants to see glued-on metal rings or washers ... :-).
@@Grommet2007 I think you might have found the issue or at least part of it, maybe the added weight outside doesn't have a counterbalance on the inside, and weight is not evenly distributed. I know these speakers are cheap and we shouldn't expect the world out of them, but decently built passive radiators seems like something basic and mandatory to get right. Fair enough lol. Though I can imagine passives with outside weights but covered for esthetic purposes, I think old JBL speakers did that, Flip 5, Charge 4 and Xtreme 2. Before they switched for metal PRs with weights on the inside
@@alanrossreviews The ridges and hollow sound shouldn't make a difference to the performance of the PR - the "hollow sound" is way above its operating range (which should be basically a big peak at Fb (50 Hz in this instance), and the shape of the PR doesn't matter - all that matters is its rigidity of the PR and its "swept volume" (the volume of air that's moved back and forth when it moves). The plastic stuff housing the lights might have a low weight, but the weight increase it adds doesn't have to be significant to noticeably drop the Fb.
Thanks mate this video helped me decide which speaker to get. Just bought the Motion Boom Plus direct from Soundcore for €123.49 not bad at all, they're offering discounts on it for the next few days.
Good in-depth video. I have the Soundcore boom 2 (and I also have the Tronsmart bang max). Which would you say is better out of the Tronsmart Bang max and the Soundcore boom 2 plus?
@@aaronvarghese6955 Boom 2 actually has (or at least appears to have) a little deeper bass than the Boom 2 Plus at moderate volume. It just doesn't go as loud of course and gets a bit rough (in my opinion) after you pass about 65% or so.
I probably will do just that ;) For my kind of music, the MBP 2 is the better option. I love the thumping bass of it. The Stormbox just doesn't "thump" that good.

I am listening to this on my Rotel RMB-1075 amp with a pair of high-end tower speakers. I find the Boom 2 + mids are clearer, but the bass is making it sounding so muddy. Overall, I agree it is tuned to make it closed in. The Boom +, for me, has more unnatural highs (it sounds like some tones are missing), but it sounds more open and less closed in. Compared to the Tribit, it lacks clearity. Only boom 2's highs sound better, but then with the muddy overall sound, it sounds worse. It's almost as if the boom 2 plus's passive radiators diffuse the low bass, instead of strengthen it.
@@alanrossreviews yeah, I do think I'd prefer this over the Tribit, cuz I could EQ the muddyness away. You saw Oluvs video? He and earfun are making a boombox together. So, I'm curious how that is going to stack up against these speakers.

Quality went down, price went up. Still decent, but I'm not recommending Soudncore to friends anymore looking for audio hardware for a good budget price. And in todays economy, people asking for recommendations REALLY care about price.

We need a custom eq video, just like Motion+ and Boom. Pretty sure can make the sounds better, especially reducing that mid/upper bass madness and brings up deep bass?
You just listed the steps, EQ is always going to be best appreciated on an individual level. Just follow your own steps and use your radars!
Master Alan,
I've been using your equalization for years on my Anker Soundcore Motion Plus... A few weeks ago I purchased the JBL partybox 320 and equalized it, approaching the motion plus equalization, the result was surprising, I thought it was better than JBL's signature sound.
If you can, equalize a partybox and make a video.
Thanks and a big hug from Brazil.

When regulars turn on me for having an opinion i know its time to move on. I dont need this shit in my life.

Keep up the good work and let the haters hate.
in app eq is the safest to use was what i meant to say

REALLY good speaker review video. 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
thanks for that as ever 👍
This has to be one of the best reviews on this speaker on TH-cam hands down. I appreciate all the effects you put into your reviews. I'm going to have to agree with you and what you said about it. It may sound impressive until you put it against another similar speaker like the boombox 3 or Tribit stormbox blast. At the price they are asking for it is simply just too much. If i had actually paid 250+$ for mine i would've definitely returned it but i got them to send me one completely for free so i guess i can't complain about that🤣
However that still won't stop me from sharing my honest opinion about the speaker and my opinion definitely matches what you said in this video. This speaker is just overhyped and overpriced. If it was priced more accordingly i wouldn't have had a problem with it but unfortunately it just isn't.
yup you cant argue about value when its free 😝
Thanks Alan, always the best reviews around! She said 😂
She said a lot more but that's for another day 😂
Another funny, informative and honest review. Thanks

I bought it, not because of shills, but because of you.
Those mids and highs were too good to skip. 😝
I used the parametric EQ to shift the bass deeper, without losing the punchy nature.
who knew 😝😝
@@alanrossreviews It's rare I don't have to touch mids and treble so EQing took literally two minutes lol.
Too bad it doesn't go that deep, it would be my favorite speaker 😭
With my EQ, I prefer it over Motion Boom Plus though
@@ThibautMahringerI'm have the same feeling. Boom 2 Plus isn't that bad especially once EQ'd. What are your EQ settings?
@@ThibautMahringer Well true i can agree it is not bad, just horribly priced and badly tuned on default 😂😂

I don't have the knowledge to know if that makes a difference, but if literally everyone adds weights to the passive on the inside, there's probably a reason why 🤔
I definitely agree on the gains of adding weights to the passives though, and Wildbox is a great example.
trouble is there is no weight to this, if you hit it you just get a hollow sound, there is air under that plastic thing, and those ridges?
As expected, always appreciated Al. 🍻
no worries 😊

good weight to sound ratio
Plastic grilles have one big advantage - they won't rust :-).
But claiming 40 Hz performance from a speaker with PRs tuned to 50 Hz ?? Gettaddahere!
well of course they dont give a range so they are probably hoping people just do the single test tone at 100% volume test 🤣
If you play a 40Hz youtube test tone, it will shake the room seismically tried a few times. ( not as strong at 35Hz though)

I do like the Soundcore Boom 2 (not plus) a lot, but I always value your reviews and opinions prior to venturing myself into acquiring a new speaker. As such, would you have any opinion on the Bose Soundlink Max (not considering its ridiculous price)?
seems promising but clearly not worth the price but probably does fit a niche, i need more time with it.
I appreciate the reply. I've been saving up for a Harman Kardon Go + Play 3, but the massive size, weight, the open down firing woofer and the lack of an IP rating are making me hesitant in getting it.
Then the Max came in and it fits all my criteria, except I don't know how good/bad it sounds against the Go + Play 3 (they're probably not even in the same league, but I just want something stronger than my Onyx Studio 6).
You seem to already have your hands on a Soundlink Max, so I'll wait for you to take some of your precious time to compare it to other speakers and give your unfiltered and brutal honest opinion about it.
Thanks for all the excellent work you've been doing so far, I never miss one of your videos, even if it's about speakers I'm not interested in. And, please, keep the wigs and hats coming!
A manly hug from Portugal!
@@ToniNando its not a go play 3 but for a small package it has some punch 👊
@@ToniNando forget about the Bose, it's way overpriced for what it is. the uboom x should make all of us happy. will be released soon.
@@wishandwatch I've watched Oluv's video. It's fugly, too big and probably too heavy. I'd rather go with a Go + Play 3, instead. I'm looking into smaller and beefier speakers, hence my interest in the Bose Soundlink Max. I'd only buy it on sale, though, as its price is quite ludicrous, indeed.
As always waiting for your reviews before buying a speaker. Great work Alan! Greetings from Mallorca ❤❤
I love mallorca, im a magaluf groupie 🤣
"I am a native of the island, and I spent the 90s and much of the 2000s partying in Magaluf in the best pubs and clubs. I still go there from time to time 😅😅😅😅"
just bought it 2 hours before the video uploaded a real bummer, im looking for bass so lets hope i wont be disappointed, thank you alan for the honest review
let us know what you think?
@@alanrossreviews arrived today, in my opinion the thing has thump and goes loud and plenty clear for me atleast. Light show could be improved slightly with its fluency of changing colours. To me it seems pretty solid and i probably wont be sending it back however baring in mind i havnt tried the boombox 3.
@@someone5242 thanks for the feedback
hey Alan do you think the Tribit StormBox Blast would be better idea when getting a boombox for beach partying?
i dont really consider the blast as a boombox really, its better balanced. but yeah it makes a good beach speaker.
@@alanrossreviews cheers Alan! Since I watched some vids to find a bigger and deeper bass speaker, the blast seems my best candidate atm? (I got a motion boom already)
@@mars0612g Uboom X should be even better and Blast 2 seems to be in the making right now! Blast is a great speaker, but i would wait for Uboom X or Blast 2.
Thanks for this as always, do you still have your rave party 2 speaker? I honestly think it outperforms this new boom 2 plus, that would be a good speaker comparison, if you still have it
Yeah still have it but limited time so just do the most interesting speaker at the time.
@alanrossreviews very understandable if you get time go at least listen to them side by side I'd love to hear your thoughts
Is there a Motion Plus 2 Coming up and what's your Expectations please?!
not that i heard, maybe the x600 was the motion 2
First off, thanks for the honest review!
Ii'm currently deliberating to upgrade my two UE BOOM 3. Due to "corparate benefits", i could get the Anker Boom 2 Plus for 160€, the JBL Xtreme 4 for 215€ or the UE Ever- / Epic- / Hyperboom for 185€ / 260€. / 300€ (all incl. tax). I'm a little overwhelmed with all the options on the market. Musically i'm more on the rock / "modernish" metal - side. I have no problem EQing to get a better / good sound. Due to the price i'm heavily leaning towards the Boom 2 Plus... Any recommendations? (i guess all of them would be a huge upgrade compared to a BOOM 3 :D).
(Or just wait for the EarFun UBOOM X?)
Yup all an upgrade. Depends if you are Happy with mid bass boomy or want more deep bass like stormbox blast or jbl encore
Hey dear Mr. Ross!
If you could have 1 STEREO speaker for under 400$ for life, what would it be?
Thanks for your efforts sir.
Go plus play 3
Thanks Alan for your detailed and honest review for this 👍
That boombox 3 really kills it in term of deep bass 😂
How about vs Stormbox Blast? I feel like Blast has deeper bass and overall nicer sound compared to this mid & upper bass push speaker 🤔
Edit: At 33:57 wild stormbox blast appeared! 😅
Yeah blast sounds nicer 👍
Is the front cover glued shut? I just might buy it to take apart and expose the cheapness 😂😂
It feels like it is, im just guessing
I really like Boomboxes and Stormbox Blast😍
i dont really think of the blast as a boombox, its not really so boomy for me its well balanced
@@alanrossreviews atleast it's beautiful and friend of Boombox 3 WiFi, and Harman Kardon Go+Play3 in my opinion
if your an audio guy you can customize the eq to make things a fair amount cleaner i just got my boom 2 plus a few days ago and im not sure about the boombox 3 but it is damn close to my boombox 2 little less sub bass but outdoors this thing really shines where the jbl trys to try to kill us with trebel
No more custom EQ?
Alan please, please, please review your two Boom 2's paired in tws. Dying to know if they come alive and solve the issue of the single Boom 2's lone oval woofer lacking life and stereo effect.
I love your reviews, especially because of the frequency response graphs. But could you include the name of the microphone that you use to make the measurements? That would make me able to trust the graphs a lot more, since I could be sure if the microphone has a effect or not
Alan are you going to do a review for the new Bose SoundlLnk max? I would really like to see how it compares to everything else
@@nathanstorrs6741 im still not sure if im doing more speaker reviews or not. It's all become too toxic for me to enjoy. If do then bose will be next.
@@alanrossreviewsoh man I sure hope you do, yours are the only reviews I trust and the most entertaining.
Thank you for this review, I been waiting for this, but now am really confused, I wanted this speaker, but now it seems to be a bad purchase, but what is there available in the UK? That can give me loud music with big bass and clear vocals, the X-King X20 isn't available, unless you inport and than the price becomes silly.
theres always the bang max if you just want deep bass but its highs are a mess. or wait for oluvs uboom x
Earfun Uboom X seems to be really impressive. i will return my boom 2 plus and wait for it.
I’m not a fan of mid and upper bass. I’ll stick with my BB3 and Stormbox Blast. I was really hoping for this Boom 2 Plus to be at least better than the Tribit. Unfortunately, I will be returning this Boom 2 Plus. I’m still a fan of Soundcore though.
I love the long videos before I get a speaker/headphones I like knowing every single detail about it, I ended up with a stormbox blast from all the positive reactions.
stormbox blast is one of the few safe options out there that most can agree on
I agree with you 100% an the boom box 2 being very boomy. Lol. I know that you didn't have much excitement towards the motion x600, but I had appreciated the spatial audio providing better overall stereo reproduction than most boxes. It still seems to hold up pretty much that way, although it's not going to give you Kick-Ass bass wasn't really designed for that
Ace video Alan keep going dude 👍👍👍
Thank you 👍
Sup Alan, what’s your opinion on the motion 100? Worth it over the soundcore 3/boost? I can barely find info on it. Cheers!
Just reminding everyone to give a like to the video
good job 👌👌😜
Hi, man, I have to learning English for watching your review. You are the best.
Thanks from Russia.
Nice video! Will you do more natural custom EQ?
its simply not worth my time. its bad.
@alanrossreviews OK thanks
