Just got the Motion Boom Plus for our beach vacation. Didn't tell my wife because she'd think it's a frivolous purchase. Opened the box, of course she says something about wasting money. Pair it up and played her favorite musician. Best purchase I've ever made, her words.
I dropped a Motion+ on concrete from 7 meters from a scissorlift (by accident of course!!). Still works fine. Its also more watertight than advertised. Mine is pretty battered, but stil sounds fine. Battery is also still going strong. I bought my dad one as a present. He bought a second one and uses them in stereo all the time. Great speakers

Yeah I just got one for $70 Amazon Black Friday deal. It's impressive. Listened to it for a few hours decided to get another one to stereo pair with while the sale is still going on. PS - Paired two together, sounds amazing! Stereo seperation makes a world of difference!
Never buy Soundcore Motion Plus! My one after 3 years of use, just punched me with high hz squeak and in just FEW seconds burned twitters! Without no reason. Now speaker sounds like 💩 and my ears were in pain for few days (I was only less than 1m when this happened). F THIS SHIT PRODUCT
Man, you can’t go wrong with any of them (I actually have the Select Pro myself, which isn’t featured here, but it’s the same size as the Motion Boom). The thing is, you can finesse just about anything you need out of all of them with the EQ in the app.
For the unassuming, the difference is small. Any of these produce amazing sound and bass! Anker and Soundcore did something amazing in the music and tech industry a few years ago and they continue to climb. Soundcore's customer service in general is one of the best of any brand! I love watching your reviews, they create a mood and present an adequate opinion. Good luck and cheers from me!
Motion X600 is Motion+ and Motion Boom combined, and it sounds really good with that quite boomy and very clear audio, which is the sound I really like.
1.) X600 - Sound quality 2.) Motion ➕- portability, great sound 3.) Motion Boom- BASS heads 4.) Motion boom ➕- party speaker This is the order of greatness of these particular speakers IMO.
Soundcore X600 has too clear sibilant highs and too little bass/thump. A side-by-side comparison tilted the favor to the Soundcore motion boom plus for my wife, my two sons (14&16) and myself. All completely individually. We fiddled with the EQ on both to get the optimal sound signature out of both before comparison. YMMV of course. PS : I really wanted to like the Soundcore X600 over the Motion Plus because of form factor, size, material usage, high end audio and spatial. But unfortunately that just didn't happen.
@@joop646 I hear ya. It's about preference. All 4 of these are great sounding. I enjoy the X600 for the clarity. The others do have ALOT more BASS especially the motion boom. But I do like x600 it as a more pleasant listen. A chill speaker. The boom plus is so loud and powerful I feel it's more for gathering or parties. But hey can't go WRONG with any of these.
1. X600 - clear but misses some bass to compensate 2. Motion plus - misses more basses 3. Motion boom - the most balanced and best sounding (just 2 drivers) 4. Motion boom plus - plenty of bass but noisy at highs, extreme peak around 5-6khz Conclusion: Soundcore had to learn better to match tweeters and configure the crossover as it should
Thought I may have went too cheap with the Motion Boom. Pleasantly surprised it is extremely loud with much clarity and detail. A very nice music listening experience. Haven't fiddled with any Eq yet the unit seems all on with stock settings. Thanks for the Very helpful review and comparisons.
From what I understand, the normal Motion speakers are directional while the Motion X speakers are 360 degree speakers. So for example, the Motion Boom would work best at the edge of a room near a wall as it fires all of its sound forward (and passively radiates bass to its side) while the X600 would work best at the center of a room since it fires its sound all around.
Thank you for the videos including the x600. Is it just me or are the voices on the x600 very thin? Other reviewers were very excited but who knows their motives (💸)
Helpful review but you didn’t discuss or utilize their app and the ability to EQ the sound? I’ve read reviews and comments of people who were not too impressed with the X600 for the money UNTIL they applied EQ on the app.
Ordered yesterday the motion boom plus mostly for outdoor garden party, couldn't have the chance to try it with my own ears, hope it will sound good irl too 😁
Still loving my (2) Soundcore Motion+ BT speakers. Sadly, they cannot be connected to each other for true wireless stereo/TWS without cutting out about a half dozen times per minute, which is understandably super annoying. If you recall, Soundcore fleeced their customers (myself included) with their claim of TWS when they first launched the Motion+ @ Amazon. I'm not even mad about it, because (1) on its own sounds great and I have a backup. Re: Battery life (tested) is approx. 5-6 hours at 80-100% volume, so the way I look at it, if I take both with me -- I am guaranteed at least 10-12 hours of music. I'm an audiophile, so you have me looking at the Motion X600 and its spatial audio to add to my ever-growing 'wall' of BT speakers. 😆 Also...LUV the t-shirt!

So far, after almost 15 minutes of music there is no more cutting-out issue. I am surprised ANKER-Soundcore is unaware of this solution since they have never responded to my inquiry about the issue @ Amazon. Shout out @ 2xj.1xf JJF for the solution.

You forgot the Boost, It is smaller and cheaper but sounds amazing. It is the kind of speaker you can carry around all day to listen to radio, spotify etc.

Major correction: you stated you can have them get wet and dust etc. that is INCORRECT. Only the motion boom plus can get dust/beach etc. ipX7 x=0. It is just waterproof. The boom plus is ip67 making it beachproof. Dust and water etc. I would ass that disclaimer before ppl buy off your recommendations and end up very surprised after a day at a beach or working in the shop. Now Listening with air pod pros. I feel You can hear the difference. The x600 clarity is def noticeable but it comes with way less bass response than the boom plus. Since I can play with the eq for the “clarity” I’d stick with the boom plus since it has more drivers and the side bass drivers too. Plus they’re about the same size and you get the dust proof, feels sturdy and almost 30% more watts = more boom in your sounds . Overall- really in depth comparison.
The x in ipx7 means it wasn't tested for dust, it's not a 0, but essentially is can be considered the same. Its actually probably ok for dust and sand but wasn't actually tested and given a rating so no way to tell. All that being said I agree if beach and sand is going to be a common use id go with the boom+ that's Bern tested to an ip67.

If you are running android, LDAC is nice. Two speakers will give more sound, play longer, and there's a redundancy if one craps out. It's really a choice between clarity vs volume, battery life, and reliability.
I love it, man.. You give me inspiration.. I should do a similar thing for Soundcore speakers with djent deathcore / thall / slam death genres.. Instrumental downtuned guitar styles of music tho.. Where I be.. Always appreciative of your time and help with my most beloved brand of speakers, yo.. I revere Soundcore, honest to goodness.

these are all nice speakers small, great sound, and just perfect for everyday use just about in my opinion but ever since i got my new bt speaker the bumpboxx ultra i dont plan on buying a new one soon its CRAZY loud and thats what i like but i would really like to get the sony xv900 man is that a crazy bt speaker
The soundcore motion boom plus comes with the shoulder strap, so, I've gotta go with that one. Being able to walk down the street, hands-free, with your speaker is an incredible convenience. They should have kept that feature with this new speaker. They screwed up on this one.

They are all good. I was in love with the Motion+ but the Motion Boom has supplanted it. Next will be the X 600 but maybe since those other two are still going strong ( my previous Fender Newport battery gone kaput after 2 years ) I might opt for a different sound for a change. The source of the music is also very imprtant for a good sound. If you're using mobile phones as yours just any old mobile phone won't do. Iphone of course or the high end Samsung or a few other usually expensive ones probably. However, I've been using LG V30 for 4 years bought on a big discount and recently bought LG V20 on the cheap as spare. The LGV30 sounds better for me but other midrange phones I tried sound terrible.
I own the Motion plus and with my eq adjustments I made it as ``flat`` as possible with reference of my pro studio soundspeakers....JUST PERFECT sound experience! But.... The enemy of good is the better 🙂 The sound of x600 is really impressive... Clear and detailed sound without the ```xtra``` bass confusion just for impression....I don`t getting impressed by these ``tricks``... Conclusion: I think the x600 will be my next purchase... Plus sounds great. Actually sounded possibly the worst in this video though. Motion +’sounded best to me. With my soundcore headphones on

You forgot the Boost, It is smaller and cheaper but sounds amazing. It is the kind of speaker you can carry around all day to listen to radio, spotify etc.

The motion X600 sounds great, but I’ll stick with my motion boom plus (mainly because it’s got better bass and can party cast{ which is essential for my nebula projector}) so yeah thanks for the video!
Hey, I'm in search for my a speaker for my nebula projector. Connecting it on flip 5 is ok but... you know, not bass enough. How do you find it connected to Boom plus? I mean, I dont need only bass when watching movies, but I realised while watching Hobbit that it's a bit thin. So, suggestions?
Major correction: you stated you can have them get wet and dust etc. that is INCORRECT. Only the motion boom plus can get dust/beach etc. ipX7 x=0. It is just waterproof. The boom plus is ip67 making it beachproof. Dust and water etc. I would ass that disclaimer before ppl buy off your recommendations and end up very surprised after a day at a beach or working in the shop.
Now Listening with air pod pros. I feel You can hear the difference. The x600 clarity is def noticeable but it comes with way less bass response than the boom plus.
Since I can play with the eq for the “clarity” I’d stick with the boom plus since it has more drivers and the side bass drivers too.
Plus they’re about the same size and you get the dust proof, feels sturdy and almost 30% more watts = more boom in your sounds .
Overall- really in depth comparison.
The x in ipx7 means it wasn't tested for dust, it's not a 0, but essentially is can be considered the same. Its actually probably ok for dust and sand but wasn't actually tested and given a rating so no way to tell. All that being said I agree if beach and sand is going to be a common use id go with the boom+ that's Bern tested to an ip67.

Motion Boom because of better weatherproofing. Also, the X600 is metal, which will get REALLY HOT in the sun. The other speakers are plastic.

Definitely grab two M+. I’ve got two of them and they sounds amazing.
If you are running android, LDAC is nice.
Two speakers will give more sound, play longer, and there's a redundancy if one craps out.
It's really a choice between clarity vs volume, battery life, and reliability.

Boom plus sound the best here
The soundcore motion boom plus comes with the shoulder strap, so, I've gotta go with that one. Being able to walk down the street, hands-free, with your speaker is an incredible convenience.
They should have kept that feature with this new speaker. They screwed up on this one.

Boom+ is an outdoor party speaker. The x600 is mostly a house and patio speaker.
LDAC is legit, but I like a ghetto blaster.

i think the motion+ for indoor the price makes it win also portability, then outdoor motion boom plus, overall sound quality motion boom plus. motionx600 needs an upgrade, can understand after all it's the first generation spatial from soundcore i believe the next gen will improve alot.

Soundcore X600 has too clear sibilant highs and too little bass/thump. A side-by-side comparison tilted the favor to the Soundcore motion boom plus for my wife, my two sons (14&16) and myself. All completely individually.
We fiddled with the EQ on both to get the optimal sound signature out of both before comparison.
YMMV of course.
PS : I really wanted to like the Soundcore X600 over the Motion Plus because of form factor, size, material usage, high end audio and spatial. But unfortunately that just didn't happen.
Got the x600 and tried it against the Jbl charge 5 ,the x600 sounds wayyyy better with the Ladc helps too on Android. 😊

They are all good. I was in love with the Motion+ but the Motion Boom has supplanted it. Next will be the X 600 but maybe since those other two are still going strong ( my previous Fender Newport battery gone kaput after 2 years ) I might opt for a different sound for a change.
The source of the music is also very imprtant for a good sound. If you're using mobile phones as yours just any old mobile phone won't do. Iphone of course or the high end Samsung or a few other usually expensive ones probably. However, I've been using LG V30 for 4 years bought on a big discount and recently bought LG V20 on the cheap as spare. The LGV30 sounds better for me but other midrange phones I tried sound terrible.
The x600 only one that doesn't look like a toy
I own the Motion plus and with my eq adjustments I made it as ``flat`` as possible with reference of my pro studio soundspeakers....JUST PERFECT sound experience! But.... The enemy of good is the better 🙂
The sound of x600 is really impressive... Clear and detailed sound without the ```xtra``` bass confusion just for impression....I don`t getting impressed by these ``tricks``... Conclusion: I think the x600 will be my next purchase...
