Just want to say a Big Thankyou to You for this video. I took on a job with not much knowledge on how it works. I went to a few suppliers who really couldn't give me any info. Your knowledge guided me through and I completed my installation . Customer was very happy and payment was made. I managed to secure another installation from the same customer. Thankyou very much for your help. So we'll explained 😃
Thanks alot, this really helped although I really need to know how to this setup but instead of having a no touch button, I will be using an in and out reader ( so 2 readers ) would really appreciate your response🙏
Hi Lee, You can wire in a keypad card reader into the RS485. so you can have face rec one side and keypad/fob on the other side. Alternatively, you can wire two face terminals together to control a single door, for face rec in and face rec out: th-cam.com/video/wTC8Ci7wgUc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_36bcHcmK8N13nvM
Looking at the space available for cable, it seems very compact. Can the RJ45 still be inserted with the ribbon in place? To allow the terminal to be used networked.
Yes, you are correct! If potential vandalism is a concern then we would advise using a secure module: th-cam.com/video/5S9M7-lRmxQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nceTDN9RHdhREjNN Thanks, Oliver
Thank you Sir I really love your videos. please can you do same video using the secure module DS-K2M060 or any terminal using secure module DS-K2M060 🙏

Hello, I need the cable/adaptor for hikvision ds-k1t606mf. Amy suggestions on where to find it?

Hi Brendan,
Yes, the RJ45 can still fit with the ribbon cable in place.
Does it really have heating issue?
What model is?
It's just me thinking that someone could break the outside unit and manually wire the door lock relay cable to gain access ?
Yes, you are correct!
