Great video. How are the secure door module and access module paired? In other words how to prevent that someone brings his own hikvision access module, rip off the existing access module, connect his own and can still provide the door open signal

Does this allow you to web browse any IPC's connected to that NVR remotely?. Virtual host has always been an issue with hik and dauhua without additional porting in the router for each camera.

How do we add a new AP to the existing setup? The IT guy left the company, and we want to add one more AP. He mentioned it's a mesh network, and it should automatically pick up the configuration from the master AP, but that's not happening. When I plug it into the switch, it's not adopting the configuration and is still on its default open SSID TPLINK OMADA AC3000

Great video! I have a couple of questions: Does the second Hikvision face recognition terminal not need network or power cables when wiring both terminals to a single door using a maglock? When adding a user to the first reader, will it automatically sync and add the user to the second one as well? How do the events from the second reader show up in HikCentral? Are they logged separately or together with the first reader? Thanks in advance for your help!

Can we use this controller with a Video intercom ? I ask because I would prefer to control the door lock from a secured tech room instead of directly wiring it to the outside unit.

It's just me thinking that someone could break the outside unit and manually wire the door lock relay cable to gain access ?

Thanks for this video. For some reason under the Configuration > PTZ section, I'm missing lots of these options like smart tracking, panorama tracking and rapid focus. The model is DS-2SE4C425MWG-E(14F0) and I'm using the latest firmware (5.8.0) and also signed in as admin. Is there something I'm missing that's stopping these options from appearing?
