Mentioned before, definitely body kit and definitely wide bodied so you can put wider wheels in back for all that power baby!
It absolutely needs the body kit and if you really want to get the engine lower you could possibly do a dry sump system to drop it down 4 inches or so but that would take a lot of work to do with what you’ve already done
I love the body kit it's a killer look for that car. It could help with the custom look, especially if you add your own flare to the kit to make it 1 of 1 custom wide body. You could design your own body kit based on multiple design elements from different kits! I still think you're building what I was dreaming of back in high school, which is awesome to see it getting built. By someone who has far more building skills than I have or will ever be able to achieve. The garage burnout was perfect. 🤘 I love the CReX build, whatever you are planning to do to it!
Hey bud China wall gaskets leak oil not vacuum. And don’t use those rubber or cork gaskets on em just straight up silicone. Save u a bunch of frustration.

Oh buddy that thing is a monster! As much as I like that body kit you could go either way and it be amazing. Or you could just make your own wide body kit if you really wanted to. But honestly the stock sleeper setup is my favorite.

I have never met anyone who used those intake end gaskets. Just use silicone. I prefer ultra grey. You were lucky to have it not leak at all with those.
i’d say let’s rock the stock body first and enjoy the sleeper feeling and thennnn go for the body kit!!! I know it’s more work but atleast you get to confidently make your decision if you actually want to go the body kit route after all the hard work you put into it

That kilmat has those squares as a gauge to know you’ve rolled it in enough. Once the squares disappear then it’s good. Yours needs some more rolling to be installed properly

Dude, the front and rear seals has nothing to do with induction, it should of fired up and ran sweetly, just would of been leaking oil from those spots! Hey, send me the EFI kit, I have a 350 in an el Camino that would be sweet. But, if the system is working properly, it seemed like a fuel problem.
@@arthursmith5409 that’s what i think as well, i believe my distributor might be tuned wrong because a buddy has the same kit with the same issues.
Haven’t seen anyone just move spark plug wires around to correct out of time of 180-out, & how exactly is the (china wall) leaking equal a vacuum leak if the gasket itself is still intact. The fuel pressure absolutely does not need to be 80 psi unless boosted, & it’s called a TBI!!

That gasket was the oil "china wall" gasket. It did not blow out from a back fire. It only seals oil. As far as a sleeper goes, nothing about this build says sleeper so go with the body kit. Especially when its on the internet for everyone to know what the build is.

It will run fine with the o2 dangling free in the air did that with my initial start while working through the aces efi set up. Been waiting 2 weeks for their tech support to get back to me on my problem. Just saw the end where they are testing your kit trust me they are doing because of your reach, the rest of us don’t get a reply back
Just run a cowl scoop on the hood. I think it will follow the shape of the hood nicely and not be an eye sore.

You should look into a coil pack conversion so you won’t have to deal with retiming a distributor also it’ll look great with the set up
Should have just went with the LT1 you have in the 67. Low intake, fuel injection and front drive Opti-spark distributor, plenty of power for a small car, and you could run the stock hood.

Back in the early Honda days, we used to tilt up our hoods to give it a cowl look appearance. You can add washers to the hood mount hardware to gain a few extra inches clearance of the hood. It will slightly tilt the hood.

When you replace the windshield, have a pro cut the notch, OK? Square cornered notch on a flexible piece is not a good idea.

That body kit looks amazing, it could maybe help you tie the hood scoop into the design if it matches the flow/angle of the rear. It certainly gives you more design to key/work off of at least.
Maybe you do a Casey vs Courier race where you try and fabricate the bodykit faster than it can arrive :P

That gasket would just be crankcase ventilation I believe you would have to have an actual runner intake leak to be sucking air

Short shifter nob is better, the long stick is an overkill and you can quick shift with it

For Christ sake Casey you need ½" Fuel line at least, stock is 5/16 or 1/4" you're trying to feed a 500 H.P. motor thru stock size fuel line What about volume? And not running lean at high R.P.M. ? This isn't even a semi sleeper where did you think you'd hide the sound of your exhaust ? You shouldn't need to grease up them rinky dink tires to do a burnout !
