Can you use vanilla extract instead of using real vanilla? It's been impossible for me to find actual vanilla anywhere in my city lol.

I tried making this, and I think I folded it too much and used a pan 6 cm larger.
It came out *FLAT*. It didn’t even rise a quarter way through.
I believe she took a temperature reading when she heated milk. Really would love ❤ to know 🤔 what it read
