I absolutely love your blouse and you definitely need to win a prize! Your whole outfit is so stinkin" cute. Those bright colors just make me happy. That ice dye turquoise and rust fabric is so pretty. Love your channel.
Amazing that it is one dye! That turned out beutiful!! The Kaffe OMG😮. That is stunning!! Love your buttons! This one is a WINNER!!! You look beautiful in it! Congrats on your closing date!! You are going to love your new house!! Have a great Easter weekend!!❤❤
Yes, yes that blouse is gorgeous❣️The length is so flattering on you. You have to show off all of your hard work on your weight loss journey. The proportions are so slimming, and you look so happy.
WOWWWWW That Ice dye is exquisite! OMG it's so beautiful, those two colors are a beautiful combination!! Now let's talk about your top, Ahhhhh My GOODNESSSS! The colors, the prints, your pattern mixing is so on point, and this is so expressive and bright, and incredibly done! From the jelly roll overlay, to the curve at the hip, then you made your own buttons? I'm beyond impressed, just beautiful!
Hi Fatmata!! Thank you so much! Can you believe that ice dye is from a single batch of dye? Crazy, right? And THANK YOU for the nice comments about my top - I am so beyond proud of it and if it wouldn't look crazy I would wear it every day haha! 😊💕
Thanks so much Kathy! I've loved bright colors my whole life. I let myself stray from it in my wardrobe when I thought I should wear dark colors to "hide" but I'm past that and won't ever walk away again!! 💕💕
Hi Michelle. Prize or no, you already have a great winner with your top, a yummy combo. I too can see coordinating pants and think that would be amazing. Congrats on locking in your mortgage rate, even though nerve-wracking. When we bought out first home it had no parking, was in the same block as a major hospital, it took every penny we had, it looked tiny and empty once the previous owners had moved out, and three days after we moved in we had a moderate earthquake. We were questioning our sanity. But it all worked out and we were very happy there for many years. Wishing the same for you, Antonia
Oh thank you so much Antonia! You are so kind and YES I think the coordinating pants are happening!! Thanks for sharing your story about your house - I'm glad everything worked out for you!! 💕
Michelle, the rest of us make clothes... you make pieces of ART❤. Your talent for colour and creation is awesome, you get it spot on every time. I can't believe your completion date is so soon now, yes of course you are nervous but hey, it's only money 😂. Have an amazing weekend and never take that blouse off, it's outstanding 🌈🥰😘
Super cute outfit Michelle. Love the buttons and the shirt is adorable with your gingham pants. So much fun. For sure a winner. And your bag is awesome. I love the pink. The Harper top is a really unusual pattern. Can't wait to see how it comes out.
The Kaffe blouse is a winner! I expect you to win a prize! I like both combos for the top you are planning, but my vote is for the red one with the print on the bottom and the geometric on top! Anxiously waiting to see what you do!
Thanks so much for the vote of confidence! I didn't enter the challenge to win a prize but I really hope I do LOL! And thanks for your vote on the Harper fabric! I'm leaning that way too 😊💕
Your shirt is stunning and you look fabulous wearing it. I don’t think it looks too short - it looks the right length for your height. You definitely have a chance of winning a prize. Congratulations on your closing date in May - I look forward to seeing your new sewing room when you get it set up.
Your Kaffe top is one of the most beautiful garments I’ve ever seen. Just gorgeous and I think the length looks perfect-did not notice any belly. ❤ Your ice dye is really interesting. I don’t want to do it; I just enjoy seeing your projects.
Definitely my most favorite thing you've ever made ever too! Holy cow I didn't realise you even made the buttons. And the styling is fabulous. I like that little curved detail on the back - didn't notice that previously. Your ice dye is fabulous as always. I love the turquoise. The gathered yoke top looks so interesting and you know things always turn out different than what they look like on the pattern. I wanna see how it turns out! Signing all those papers is terrifying but hey, you can always turn around and get out of the whole thing by selling the house! You'll never want to do that but it does calm the whole thing down a bit in terms of it being overwhelming. I am looking SO forward to you living up here! Hurry up! LOL xoxoxoxox
The fabric turned out beautifully. The glitch is a fun fold. Keeping in mind no two natural fibers are the same, my HCTD Dragon’s Egg is much more chartreuse and fire colors like red, yellow & orange. I have a pair of rayon pants I did last summer you might like to try for fabric dyeing. Congratulations on your mortgage stuff. 😁 You should share your fabric in our group if you haven’t already. It’s stunning. 🤗❤️🌈
Hi Steph! Thanks so much, it means a lot that you like my fabric 😊 I appreciate your insight on the different results depending on the fabric type - I hadn't thought of that. I'll be sure to share my fabric in the FB group!!
Oh my gosh! I freaking love the fabrics you used for the bag! Thankyou for showing it, it’s gorgeous! I just can’t, can we take a second to breathe, that KAFFE SHIRT!! It is stuuuuuuuning! I have that red/purple/orange tarten print from Kaffe and the spots from that range, I gotta make me a shirt from those now, twinsies! Hehe, have a great weekend, nibble all of Herc’s tootsies off for me hahah 😂xx
Thanks Adam! I love how the bag turned out even though it's not perfect. And I was telling Mari last night that it made me more confident to keep trying new bag patterns! I was most intimidated by the zippers and they were easy peasy!! Thanks again for sharing the pattern!! 🧵 I knew YOU would love my Kaffe shirt - and YES, please let's be twinsies!! How fun would that be?!?! I'll let Herc know you send xo 🤣
I was smiling ear to ear while watching this because your shirt is so fun and you look so happy with it!!! Any of those fabric combos would look very cool as a blouse. And congrats on the huge step toward the new house. All very exciting stuff!! 💞
Carol from Omaha: I was going to use the descriptive word amazing, but noticed the next commenter used it, so I will use stunning. Your creation is stunning Michelle; your styling is stunning; and you look stunning. Your "new hair" took me aback initially but it really suits your coloring and personality -vibrant. Love pattern mixing and yours is a beautiful combination. The more brave and bold, the brighter you shine. It is always fun to see Hercules in the background. Imagine day care is a treat for you both. 😊
The blouse you’re wearing looks so good on you!!! It doesn’t look too short in my opinion and I can see why it’s your favorite! Yes I think you can win a prize ❤
Oh I adore everything you made this week... that top is outstanding !!! Yes your top is so unique it deserves a win !!! Love the poppy pants idea n I never even noticed any tummy... your top looks like the perfect length truely.... sounds like life is busy but good... you are looking very good... keep up the great work !!! Hugs !!!
I love your shirt and definetly think, you could win a price. For the FM top I’d go with the first option. And as we moved in our first ever own home 1,5 years ago I still feel the nervousness of spending so much money and taking such a responsibility. You’ll make it!😊
Thanks Izzy! I was very careful to hide my tummy bump in the photos - if I stood up straight you would agree that I need to lengthen it a bit 😂 But thanks!!
I am working on my Hipster Bag now while watching you! Your hipster will be so practical for dog walks. I think my favorite part of the top is how you have pieced the vertical strips along the bottom. And the buttons take it over the top!!!! Love love love it!!!
Thanks Christine! I had so much fun making this top! I actually used my serger to piece the jelly roll together so the seams would be finished, since it's not lined. I forgot to mention that in the video!
The fabric you dyed is gorgeous - the colors are so vibrant! Your shirt is amazeballs, Michelle! Incredible work! You also did a fab job on Adam’s pattern! You’re a bag-maker now! 💜
I like the large orange plaid with the tiger lily print also. I know the fabrics will SPEAK TO YOU before you start to make the blouse. I can't wait to see you and Christine's collabs.
I love love love the shirt you're wearing.. Did I say I love it.. WOW.. I like the pink floral and red .. Congrats on your new MTGE.. You'll be fine.. we've all been there
I love, love, love the Style Arc shirt and the bright colors on you, Michelle! Prize worthy, I'd say. I will weigh in on the two combos you are considering by suggesting that the seersucker might not "act" well gathered into the rayon. I love the combination, but worry that the gathering might be too stiff.
Thanks so much for the kind words on my Style Arc top! And I hear you on the seersucker - I kind of worried about that as well. Maybe I'll do a little test section with a square of each fabric 😊. Although I am really leaning toward the other combo anyway!! I appreciate your help!!
The Kaffe shirt is wonderful. You should definitely win a prize. The colors go together so well and the buttons finish it off adorably. The ice dye piece is a work of art. Can't wait to see what you turn it into. Both combinations you are considering are lovely, but I wonder how the seersucker would be if it is the gathered upper. Seersucker can have a mind of its own sometimes IMHO. The fanny pack is adorable. I can see why they don't use that term in England, though... doesn't have the same meaning there. Our innocuous word is a lot less innocuous over there.
Thanks Diane! I had the same thought about the seersucker and another viewer said the same thing. I'm really leaning toward the other combo but I might do a test with a couple of small squares with the seersucker just to see. I appreciate the help 😊. And I hadn't even thought of another meaning for fanny pack until I just read what you said 😳
Thanks Pamela! I'm going to do a test (small piece of each of the fabrics) on the 2nd option to see if I can get the seersucker to gather into the floral. We'll see! I appreciate your input!! 😊
Your top is beautiful!!! I like the first combo for your blouse. You could always do the large floral on the front bodice 🥰 but I’m late to the party so you might be done with the blouse!😂😂
What I find super inspiring is that you dye fabric with an idea of sewing up a project. So different than dying a finished garment. I absolutely love your Kaffe shirt (but I must be honest, the stripey y thing you wore in your last video is the thing of dreams for me)
I have done it both ways - it just depends on how I want the finished garment to look! I've also dyed the pattern pieces after cutting them out and before sewing them together - I actually think that's my favorite method!! Ahh - the stripey thing I wore in my last video was a simple tee shirt dress - it's very comfy!
Your Kaffe Fassett top is really stunning Michelle. Love the way you have styled it too. I am going to be controversial with your Fibre Mood blouse. I think it would look fantastic in your Dragons Egg Ice Dye fabric or indeed the Red/Orange square fabric only. You really are looking fantastic just now.....buying a house must be agreeing with you deep down.
Thanks so much Libby! I appreciate your thoughts on my FB blouse 😊. I definitely want to contrast the yoke from the bodice though. The versions I've seen that are all in the same fabric lose the impact of the gathered detail. I do appreciate your POV though!! 💕 And thanks for all the kind words!!
I love your favorite make ever! You did an amazing job and if I were sponsoring the challenge, I definitely would give you a prize. I think you'll receive one.
Congrats on the closing date! How exciting for you. I love your Kaffe shirt. The design is one I’ve not seen before with the front and back “flaps”. Your fabric use was exquisite. I’ve been watching several of the ice dye lives and the glitch is really wild in the premade garments, sounds like the Happy Cat dyes are really great for the color splits. Good luck withe two tone gathered shirt…I wonder how well the seersucker will play withe drapier rayon?!? Missed Hercules but glad you had some free time. 😊. Great shares.
Thanks Mary Ellen! Isn't that glitch fold fab?!?! I love it! I am also curious about the seersucker and how it will gather into the rayon - I plan on doing a small test with a square of each fabric. We'll see 😊 Thanks for watching!
Love, love your new shirt! This is JMHO, but before you got around to mentioning about the length of the shirt, I had already had the thought that the shorter length was more flattering than a longer length. I, too, am conscious of a tummy but we are so often our own worst enemies about these things and nobody but us even takes notice. I think the shorter length is much nicer for your height. Just my opinion, ”take what you like from it and chuck what you don’t like”. In the end it’s your shirt and you’re the wearer. It’s beautiful to me as is.
I appreciate your comment 😊. However, because I'm so self-conscious about the tummy bulge, I was very strategic in my posing - so it does not show as much as it would if I had stood straight up for the photos! I am not planning to lengthen it to my lower hip, just about an inch though would be better for me😊 💕💕. Thank you so much for your kind comments though xo
That Kaffe shirt is what my kids call FIRE! I love it with those pants and I love the shorter top on you. Outstanding! I am surprised you don’t have a huge collection of his fabrics - lol. (I do!) As far as your mixed prints, I vote for the orange. The large pink floral is one of my favorites of your fabrics, but there is something about the pink background with the white in the other fabric that looks wrong - almost like the pale pink background is from the fabric bleeding in the wash. Does that even make sense? Congrats on the house. It’s been a long time coming! My husband and I are about to put our house on the market and move to the opposite end of our state. I have lived here my whole life so I am a mixture of being thrilled and being terrified, so I sort of understand how you feel.
Thanks for your compliments on the Kaffe shirt! I also appreciate your thoughts on the fabrics for the blouse 😊 Congrats on the upcoming move! I think it's exciting - a whole new adventure! I hope the sale goes quickly and profitably!!
Your shirt is beautiful, I can see why you are so proud of it. I’ve just printed out the fibre mood harper so I will be interested to see what you have to say about it.
Ok third comment: that red and white print would be fabulous as pants The white yellow orange print would look Fab with those gingham pants Would the red and white go with the white orange yellow print?
I've never thought about making rayon pants before - the print would definitely make a fun pair of pants though! And you're right - the white, yellow, orange WOULD look good with the gingham pants - great call! I'm not so sure about the red and white with white yellow orange - but maybe?!?! :). I appreciate all the fab suggestions!!
@@MichelleSewsAgain Just one more comment. This video came at just the right time. I had just received a scary phone call about a family member (turned out okay) and needed to distract myself. Everything is okay but your video helped me bridge the 20 minutes until I heard back when I needed it. Thanks. Rayon pants are all swishy and comfortable in hot weather.
Absolutely gorgeous Kaffe garment , congratulations and yes you deserve a prize.
Thanks Moira! 😊💕
That shirt. 😍so beautiful and your face lights up when you’re describing it. I hope you 🏆🏆win a prize. 🥇
Thanks so much Dotschi! I don't. usually enter challenges for the prize, and I didn't this time either, but I still hope I win haha!!
I absolutely love your blouse and you definitely need to win a prize! Your whole outfit is so stinkin" cute. Those bright colors just make me happy. That ice dye turquoise and rust fabric is so pretty. Love your channel.

Thanks so much! If I like the top enough - maybe I will make both haha!!
Amazing that it is one dye! That turned out beutiful!! The Kaffe OMG😮. That is stunning!! Love your buttons! This one is a WINNER!!! You look beautiful in it! Congrats on your closing date!! You are going to love your new house!! Have a great Easter weekend!!❤❤
I knew you would love the ice dye! It's so fun! Thanks so much - I love my Kaffe shirt - I'm so proud of it!! 💕💕💕💕
Yes, yes that blouse is gorgeous❣️The length is so flattering on you. You have to show off all of your hard work on your weight loss journey. The proportions are so slimming, and you look so happy.
Aww thanks so much Maureen! 💕
Definitely you should win a prize, that top is gorgeous!!!

Thanks so much Debbie!!
Don’t ever lose your passion for bright colors. That top is gorgeous on you
Thanks so much Kathy! I've loved bright colors my whole life. I let myself stray from it in my wardrobe when I thought I should wear dark colors to "hide" but I'm past that and won't ever walk away again!! 💕💕
Your top is gorgeous!! You definitely deserve a prize! Love your new ice dye fabric too. The colors are great together!
Thank you so much!😊
Hi Michelle.
Oh my goodness - what a wonderful compliment! Thank you Carole! I have had the "it's only money" conversation with myself haha! It does help!!
Super cute outfit Michelle. Love the buttons and the shirt is adorable with your gingham pants. So much fun. For sure a winner. And your bag is awesome. I love the pink. The Harper top is a really unusual pattern. Can't wait to see how it comes out.
Thanks so much Carol!!
Your shirt is fabulous, fabric are just lovely. The ice dying is great, amazing how many colour you can achieve from just the one powder 👍👍
Thanks so much - I appreciate it!
I'm leaning that way too 😊💕
I really love how you used a jelly roll to make the fabric for the bottom of your shirt! The whole thing looks fantastic!
Thanks so much!!
Your shirt is stunning and you look fabulous wearing it. I don’t think it looks too short - it looks the right length for your height. You definitely have a chance of winning a prize.

Love love love your kaffe shirt. Very flattering with the checker pants. Your ice died dress is stunning.
Thanks so much Crystal! 😊

Aww thanks so much! And I appreciate you sharing your story on your own home buying experience 😊 💕
Your shirt is the best. If you could sew more makes like this with scraps it would be so inspirationel. We all have scraps that we need to use.
Thanks so much! Yes, I love using scraps and mixing up prints - it's so much fun!
Oh Wow! I love your top! I actually think the length looks perfect on you. I do think it’s a good top to win a prize! Go for it!
..also…You have MAD Modeling Skillzzzz 😁
Thanks Izzy! I was very careful to hide my tummy bump in the photos - if I stood up straight you would agree that I need to lengthen it a bit 😂 But thanks!!

Thanks so much Angela!!
Gorgeous dyed dress and the blouse is amazing. The jellyroll is a great touch. Yup, you'd win if I were judging
Aww thanks so much Cat!!
Yes your blouse is amazing!!!
Thank you so much Sally!! 💕💕
The Kaffe shirt is wonderful. You should definitely win a prize. The colors go together so well and the buttons finish it off adorably. The ice dye piece is a work of art. Thank you so much Jackie!
I love your new make! Your fabric choices are all pretty, I am not sure of mixing the two different fabrications on the second choice.
Thanks Pamela! I'm going to do a test (small piece of each of the fabrics) on the 2nd option to see if I can get the seersucker to gather into the floral. We'll see! I appreciate your input!! 😊
The top is so pretty, so cool and so Michelle! Nice work.
Thank you so much!
I’m in love with the top you are wearing ! your ice dye fabric turned out great.
Thank you so much!
Your top is beautiful!!! I like the first combo for your blouse. You could always do the large floral on the front bodice 🥰 but I’m late to the party so you might be done with the blouse!😂😂
Thanks so much Mardi! Definitely not done with the blouse yet 🤣
Love Love LOVE that top! Spectacular!
Thank you so much Nancy!! 😊
OMG!!!!!!!! The ice dyed fabric is gorgeous!!!
Thank you so much Ruth!! 💕
Fabulous dye colours and the blouse gorgeous love it looking good babe liking the tangerine option cu next time
Thanks so much Robyn!
Luv this shirt.. it looks so awesome on you 💖.. I also like how the length suits you ..makes your legs look longer..😄
Thanks so much Michelle!!
Thanks so much Marie - that's so kind of you to say!
Love the shirt. Yes you definitely have a chance to win.
Thanks Vanessa! I'm really proud of it 😊💕
Congrats on the closing date!
❤ Best shirt ever ❤
Thank you!! xo
Love your KF top - very creative mix of fabrics!!!
Thanks so much Jen!
Oh wow! Fun blouse! Your bag is super fun, and make both tops!
Thank you so much! We'll see how the first one comes out haha - then I'll go from there - but thanks for the vote of confidence!!
I think you should win 1 st place, your vision is fabulous!
Oooh thank you!! 😊 💕
Your blouse is absolutely beautiful
Thank you so much 🙂
AND I LOVE YOUR TOP TOOOOOOO!!!
Thank you!!! 😊💕
That shirt is the bomb! Love it!
Thank you so much!!
I think your top is gorgeous.
Thank you so much Joanne!
Love your top. Great job. Such as happy colors
Thank you so much!
Love the bag material...
Thanks Pam 😊
Loved your montage at the end, verrry cute🌹❤️
Thank you 🤗
Love your shirt! Yes, you should win something
Thank you!!
Your shirt is beautiful, I can see why you are so proud of it. I’ve just printed out the fibre mood harper so I will be interested to see what you have to say about it.
Thanks so much Kay! I'm a little behind but going to get started on the Harper this weekend!!
Yes, you can win.
I thought I could - but I didn't 😩. But thanks for your vote of confidence!!
I like both combinations!
Thanks Sally!
wow love your shirt, stunning
Thank you so much 😀
Your shirt is fantastic!
Thank you Lorraine!!
The fabric is glorious and the bag looks great. Where did you find the rainbow zipper? I need at least one
I got the rainbow zipper on Amazon!
What pattern did you use for your Kaffe blouse? I love it!
I used the Style Arc Blaire pattern - there's a link in the description box to make it easy to get there 💕
Ok third comment: that red and white print would be fabulous as pants
The white yellow orange print would look Fab with those gingham pants
Would the red and white go with the white orange yellow print?
Thanks. Rayon pants are all swishy and comfortable in hot weather.
xXX👍👍👍
