Awww! I'm so glad I can make you smile Jenn! That really warms my heart to hear you say that. I hope you continue to tune in and share in my joy and love for sewing! 🥰❤
Love those Patterns! I’ll have to get a few of those for my collection. Your top is so cute! I’m really loving your channel, I always share it. So glad it’s gaining popularity because you deserve it! You always inspire me, clearly your having fun sewing. 😊 🌹
Love your pattern haul! Isn’t it a treat to get such wonderful pattern designs and instructions to make all kinds of garments, accessories, crafts for such a great price? I know that the pattern makers and designers put in a LOT of work and time to make these patterns and instructions for us to use and create great things. We are so lucky to have access to the variety and options. I am also excited to see what you come up with for your lace creations! I also love sewing with lace, even if it can be difficult to sew with at times, but it is so beautiful and elegant to wear. Happy Sewing!
Yes Stephanie, I appreciate pattern makers work but they get a lot in volume of sales I'm sure. I believe that most people would not buy so many if they had to pay $20 a pattern, but I do really appreciate their designs. I'm excited about the lace collab also. I've started the first project and the lace is indeed a challenge to sew with. Thanks for watching and happy sewing!!
I hope to upload a Giveaway Video on Sunday or Monday! Have a GREAT weekend. Also, I just learned Joann's has patterns on sale this weekend and next. Please see my announcement in my Community Tab!
You’re so cute! You are so cheerful and enthusiastic about your projects and I love your sewing room. You inspire me to get back to sewing my unfinished projects.
Yes Stacy, get back into sewing! It's so much fun! I'm glad I inspire you. That's my goal for this channel is to inspire others to sew and share my joy with them. Thanks for watching! 😄
Hi Breda, I love that idea but I don't think there's enough for a full dress. I have enough to make matching skirt and make it a 2 piece. Thanks for watching! 😊
Hello! Congrats as you’ve reached your first goal. I’ve never commented but I’ve enjoyed your videos and your hauls too. Have a great wknd! ( I live in Indiana and have a daughter n son n law in Florida, gulf side.)
Thanks for the shout out Grace!! That dress is going to be beautiful on you! It is an easy make too! You got some great patterns on sale!!! You top turned out so pretty. Congrats on all your subscribers! You will hit 1k in no time! Have a great weekend Grace!!!!
Great video. Can’t wait for the collaboration video on lace and to see how your new look skirt and shirt set. Congratulations on the subscribers! That’s awesome. Keep sharing and inspiring!!!
I always like all the same patterns as you and usually have a few of them. Can’t wait to see you incorporate lace into clothing. Your top is beautiful.
Thank you Tina! I like that square neckline. Quite attractive than the usual. I can't wait to show my first lace make this Friday in collaboration with Lara from "Sewing Up Style". Thanks for watching!
You made 1K whoop whoop👏🏼👏🏼🎉. Well done on a brilliant achievement. That Gators shirt turned out to be awesome, what a fab colour on him. I am with you on New Look, they are hands down my favourite pattern company followed by Simplicity. That NL 6483, about 6 months ago I set myself a challenge of making that in one hour.....I failed...every time I have made that pattern I choose a different view and each view seems to have a different way of doing a facing, I end up cutting out the wrong one most times 😂. I wasn't far off but its the facings that take the time. Still love it though and have quite a few of them! Thanks for a great video as always and well done again xx💖
Yes Carole, there is absolutely NO WAY that pattern can be done in an hour! Cutting and marking alone take at least 30minutes and I take my time sewing. I have to try the other views. I like it because of the various facings too! Happy sewing my dear friend XXOO
Beautiful outfit with your square neckline rose top. I just love it. I have always had success with quilting cotton, because I have sewn so many 50's vintage patterns - they didn't have newfangled fabrics back then ;) I tried to make a knit top last fall and it was a complete failure!
Thanks Sirena, I love that top too! Cottons are so easy to sew with. Knits can be more challenging. Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend!
Well welcome Hyacinth to my channel! It's all about sharing my joy and passion for all things sewing and to inspire. I hope you continue to watch and enjoy! 😃
Girl, that top is beautiful! You look amazing. The neckline is very flattering on you. I just can’t wear a square neckline. Wish I could but it is just not for my body shape.
I love paper patterns too. I also have pattern love. I buy a lot when on sale.heaven help me I also use to work in Joann years ago, so you could image …LOL
Oh Grace… I used to be one of you… I would go in the store and buy one pattern and everything to make it….and nothing more😮 what we’re we thinking.😂 love your no shame patterns and all your makes. ❤
I love New Look 6483 and have made several of them and all views. It’s a perfect little top and my go-to pattern for a quick sew but I’ve never made it in an hour. I sew up the back seam since the top can go right over your head without an opening; one less thing to do.
Yes Sibyll, It's definitely not a 1 hour project. At least it's a 1 day project! I don't like to rush my projects. I agree with you that the top does not need an opening. Hmmm I'll have to sew up the back seam on the next one. Maybe it will get done in an hour!! LOL!
So excited to have our first video next week! All your patterns are such great choices. The fabric you have to pair with the two that you showed are perfect. That striped fabric is gorgeous (I think it's a light-weight denim?) I think I'm addicted to paper patterns, too. I'm headed to JoAnns again tomorrow after my kids do their competition. It's so convenient that the district contest is in the same town my Joann's is, right? :)
Good for you Lara! I'm glad you got to go to Joann's and pick up some Simplicity treasures. I'm thrilled about our upcoming collaboration. Maybe we can chat sometime Sunday or during the week before Friday? WhatsApp me and let me know if you have time for a quick call. 😃🌻
Great pattern haul, Grace! Definitely, no shame. Karon Euter has me going through my collection to find the blouse/shirt patterns. I bought M8237 for the dress, but now I wonder how would the tunic look over matching pants? I'm looking forward to your collab with Laura.
Hi Auset, I think the tunic M8237 would look GREAT over matching pants! Lara is so sweet and talented. I was so honored that she asked me to collaborate with her on the lace theme. I hope you enjoy this series! 🥰
Did you find the pattern of the top you have on to be true to size? Fairly new to sewing and a similar Butterick top I made was ruined because the sizing was so off. Thanks from central FL
It came out true to the finished garment measurement size not the pattern size. When you look at the Front pattern piece, it lists the finished garment measurement of the bust. Measure your bust and find the bust size on the pattern piece. That's the size you choose. So I made a size 14 based on the bust size of the front pattern piece not the pattern envelope size. I hope I didn't confuse you. If you need more help please send me an email at: sewlovelywithgrace@gmail.com
@@practicallyfree1509 The pattern piece may also state the amount of ease next to those finished garment measurements. Take that into account when selecting your size also.
Your enthusiasm is so infectious! I was having a bad day and watching your video made me smile. Thank you for being so happy and positive.

I spotted New Look 6483 a while back and just had to get it on Etsy. It reminds me of a pattern that should be a staple in every woman's closet😊.
