the idea of the R7 is appealing to me, but the price compared to what you can get on the 2ndhand market, atleast in aus, is just so hard to justify. i might aswell just wait till i can ride something like a zx6r, buy 2ndhand for way cheaper, and put the extra few grand into getting it serviced to peak running order.
@@ColeMonsta29 I got a 2019 zx6r so gen 10 but i mainly use it for the track, my brother got the 2013 and uses it for everything pretty much. I do also have a 2021 ZX10RR that i use for the streets.
In VietNam, the R7 costs around 267M VND (~13000 USD) ( not included paperwork) and with paperwork it can cost 15K USD. Also, somehow the CBR650R is 500 USD cheaper in my country
Kawasaki classifies the ninja 650 as a sport tourer. Which is correct in my opinion. Yamaha is trying to rip off customers by labelling the R7 as a sportsbike. Sure the ergonomics are there but no power, no equipment and overpriced.
If I am right as well. R7 is indeed a sportbike, those numbers are not the highest but you can't deny they are numbers to deliver on the track. You should be mad if they compared R6 to the Ninja 650. But on this case, HP is playing around almost the same, Torque is playing around the same that's why it is still an interesting comparison.
I think you are confused with sportbike vs supersport bike..sportbike is where you have aggressive position and do aggressive cornering whereas the supersports is same with sportsbike but with the specs that you are referring to...
in my opinion both are sport bikes. You have to look it about the intended use: Yamaha: good for short everyday ride, fantastic on track Kawasaki: fantastic for everyday ride, good on track. And yes, both are bikes for begginers or others that just want a chill bike and not a monster (but look like one ;) )
Esto es hermoso. Que lindo trabajo de diseño del video. Exacto perfecto hermoso preciso. Gracias. Me acabo de comprar una 650 2022 y con esto confirmo que es y será una excelente compra.
The R7 is only 6% "better" for a price difference of 30%. The R7 is really moreso a track bike. It gets really uncomfortable if you have passangers or if you wanna commute or sit in stop and go traffic. The N650 is a lot cheaper, especially given that in germany the R7 can be 12k, and the N650 just 9k. The Ninja650 is also a lot more comfortable, versatile, is better for touring, and can also be sporty on the highway. The R7 is just a little bit more powerful and lighter, but really it's negligable. And for that difference you pay up to 3k more. Imo the N650 is a better choice for an overall beginner sports bike. The R7 is better if you spent a lot of time on the track. With the R7's aggresive position you always have to lean to the front, but with the N650 you can also be upright and chill. Common polemy against the N650 is really unreasonable.
i dont get it. why is the r7 so expensive. almost as the same price as bnew zx6r and same price as used you can get it here for 10,500 usd and the ninja for 7,450 i just dont get it
higher quality materials and construction, much better suspention and brakes, tyres too. Is a bike designed for racing, not commuting or "easy riding". It surely can do easy ride and commute but the Ninja is MADE for that rather than sports. Of course it can do sports but not better than the R7. Now, you want a on of these? buy the one you like, they are very similar indeed and the performance will depend on the rider rather than the bike. You wont go faster in the R7 just because its an R7, it will depend on you. But the Ninja is defenetly more comfy (no back or wrist pain after 2hrs riding).
Yamaha R7 (Better Track Bike)
-More Powerful engine
-Aggressive riding position
-Lighter weight
-Radial 4-piston Brake Caliper with brembo master cylinder + Adjustable fork and suspension (Preload & rebound).
Ninja 650 (Better Commuter)
-Comfy Riding Position.
-Bigger Fuel Tank.
-More rider aids (Bluetooth, TC, TFT Dash).
Not better track bike
Only to bigneers track rider 🔥 but good
@@deepanshusingh8647 he says better because he is comparing 2 bikes not all bikes..lols
Yes but still got beaten by an old 2008 Yamaha R6 if someone tried to pull it out on the tracks.
Awesome visual and sound presentation for the stats of the bikes in your videos. Great job, thanks for the cool comparison videos!
Japanese bike's are fantastce in every class
Reliable and incredible performance according to their prices.

you pay for what you get and the R7 looks 10/10

that engine is 15/10 though, 270 degree parallel twin has the most beautiful power band ever and such a strong low to mid range power

So true brother, it makes no sense. And putting this money to drive gthl...I see some cbr650r here and there in Hanoi, but I never see a r7.
What is a good out the door price on a brand new 2023 krt 650 in ny????
R7 anyday! ❤
Here in Indonesia Yamaha R7 is really overpriced, imagine MT07 is IDR 243,000,000 or approximately USD 16,361
And R7 is more expensive
Same in VN
@@xinazhong7771 i only can afford 250cc 2cyl
I have Kawasaki Z250 right now
Kawi in Indonesia offer more value, that MT07 is very close in price with Z900 which I think is a better bike

Instead of 699cc we get 945cc inline 4
Worth the price
According to my owners manual the R7’s forks and mono shock are adjustable for compression in addition to preload and rebound
Great grafics men 👍🏾
VERY well done video. 👍
I love it thanks

I am almost positive the Ninja 650 does not come with an Akra exhaust. They sound terrible stock.
please also bring here CBR650R among them
I like the feel of the Ninja 650 brakes better than Yamaha. Yamaha's are all squishy, while Kawasaki is more responsive.

Traction control is for pu$$yies who can't control thier bike
