  • 3-way comparison between the Honda CBR650R, Kawasaki Ninja 650, and Yamaha R7.
    These new-generation sportbikes have less power than supersports, but they also come at a much lower price and have more comfortable ergonomics.
    With this video, I'll show you the key specs, engine, features, price, sound, and other differences between these bikes, as well as the pros and cons of each bike that i'll hope will help you decide which bike is best and most suitable for your needs.
    Ultimately, the choice between the three depends on your riding style and preferences. If you're looking for a comfortable ride for daily commutes and occasional long rides with low price and maintenance cost, Ninja 650 may be the better options. If you're a bit of track enthusiast looking for a bike with exceptional handling, and don't mind the more aggresive riding position, the Yamaha R7 may be the perfect choice, and for something in between two of that, there is CBR650R.

      Im really stuck, i want the 650R for the inline 4 smoothness and sound. But the torque and weight of the R7 make it a blast to ride on the street so im really torn to decide. The sound on the R7 is more of a hot rod sound though, i think it fits the Xsr700 better. and the bars are setup for the track so im thinking the honda for a street bike, even though u gotta rev it out but thats the fun

      I agree that the only other bike sounds as throaty as that R7 would be a Suzuki Sv 650 or a Ducati monster or pangale. I've heard those bikes with an aftermarket exhaust. Hot damn do they sound good. The Ninja 650 isn't too bad either. However, I wasn't a big fan of the Honda. Too ricer sounding for my taste.

    I’ve owned a cb650r and now a r7. Although I enjoy the sound of the inline 4 more. The joy of the high torque cp2 engine wins it for me.
    If you like me enjoy popping wheelies left to right, and want a sportsbike, the r7 is your best option.
    If you want smoothness and sound, opt for the cbr650r.
    Don’t even look at the ninja

    • @ashi6838
      @ashi6838 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@darkhunterxx7133 it’s a completely different bike than the honda if thats the one you really want. It’s 2 cylinders vs 4, so completely different sound and feel.
      If you opt for a 4 cylinder sportsbike, in the 600cc range, you really dont have many options and the honda is the best choice.
      If you want a 2 cylinder sportsbike in the 600cc range you have a few options such as r7, ninja, aprilia etc. And in my honest opinion the r7 is the best among them, both in terms of quality but also enjoyment.
      It has more HP and torque than the ninja. So thats why I exclude the ninja, because it simply looses in all catheghories and isn’t the best in anything but perhaps price, and it’s not that much cheaper than the other two atleast where I live.
      But choice is yours, ask around and go for test rides before you decide.

      For me the Kawasaki main problem of many of them is that It doesnt fit in any category , It looks sporty but with that handlebar forget about sport riding , It doesnt has any electronic , only ABS , It features some bluetooth shit when its a "sport" bike but not electronic aids , its has poor power and the suspension are not setable at all...
      At least honda and Yamaha knows wich kind of product they are selling but Kawasaki.... And to finish It i dont like how It looks at all , for me is agly as fuck...

    The exact 3 bikes i'm struggling to decide between (although i know i will res on the Ninja 650).
    The R7 is so unbelievably gorgeous in its understated not-trying-too-hard silken curves.
    But the CBR is classic in its design, just purely awesome shapes and iconic design.
    And the Ninja is awesome in its own right, the face, the integrated blinkers, but has a snubby tail.
    But from 6 months of youtube binging, seems the Ninja is by far most comfy and best for city riding.
    But at the end of the day, gotta sit on each one and test ride, we gotta buy with our hearts, not our minds.

Beautiful design and sound with arrow exhaust (most mt 07 are compatible so don't take expensive euro5), the front end, tire and brake gives great feeling and make it easy to ride fast for beginner. R7 and Ninja 650 aren’t “inline 2” they are both a twin, parallel twins to be exact. They aren’t 4 cylinder engines either. The CBR650 is an inline 4, and out powers both bikes, but lacks the performance of the R7 on track. For track riding, the R7 wins hands down, but for power the Honda wins.
    This video is filled with inaccurate information. The R7 has a TFT display. Technically all of them do.

      I'm 6'3" and have recently had a test ride on both R7 and CBR650R as I'm in the market for a new bike in the Spring. While the R7 seat is an inch higher than the Honda, the footpegs on the R7 are set really high and aggressive. I had to stop twice on a 1 hour test ride and shake out a cramp at my hips and I've not got long legs for a tall guy, (33" inside leg).
      The Honda I could sit on all day. Sure it's heavier and not as lively, but if you don't fit on your bike what's the point?
      Sit on both or take both for a test run before you get your hear set on either of them.
      As it stands, I'm prob going with the Honda and I'll get the seat redone. A wee bit more padding and flattened out a bit, as it's steeper than I'm used to and I kept sliding forward into the tank.

    In Indonesia most viable option is ninja 650 at 12k usd, r7 is not available, and cbr650 is close to 20k usd... that is why you rarely see big bike (>250cc) here because the tax is insane...
    i am planning to buy big bike (>250) and my first option is er6n or royal enfield classic 350, both are used and the price is around 6k usd... i am not into trackday, but long distance touring

    If you're looking to spend what the CBR650 costs, look at the Kawasaki ZX6R for about the same price. But you'll be getting a bike that's about twice as fast. Between the 3 compared here, R7 sucks. I got a 650 because it was an excellent value and I was paying cash, I think it looks the best, better than the honda, and engine sounds great in person. I4 doesn't have as much usable torque around town as the Ninja 650. I guess if you're looking at the CBR650, Idk why you wouldn't just get a real I4 super sport.

    • @bluetube4248
      @bluetube4248 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because it's not that easy. Many here look at 650s because of the drivers license in europe. It's called A2, max 48hp and 35Kw, or 96hp and 70Kw if the engine is put down to half the power. A 600cc has way over 100hp so that's just not an option, and 650ccs are way nore beginner friendly.
