Since you're bringing your family too, an important thing to consider might be the city or location that suits your family best in terms of lifestyle, schools, cost of living etc. Many things to consider!

Hi, i'm confused between University of Adelaide Ms in construction management and Deakin University Ms in Construction Management. Which would be the better option? I would really appreciate if you could give your opinion?
My instant reaction was UoA, but then I looked at Deakin's program and it looks solid too. Deakin has better options for overseas study and leadership, plus I'd say Melbourne has the bigger construction industry (so maybe has more opportunities like internships etc). I'd call this a line-ball choice - really depends on you and your preferences.
Melbourne is very expensive place to rent, and buy homes. It is full of social activities, and events all year round (except coronavirus has it in lockdown at the moment). If your an extrovert with plenty of money, Melbourne is good choice Adelaide is cheaper to rent, and buy homes. Some people say Adelaide is sleepy because there's not always events happening. If you're an introvert with not much money, Adelaide is best for you. I've lived, and studied in both cities. Melbourne, and Adelaide have been listed in top 10 best cities in the world.

For marketing I’d recommend UniSA if you’re looking to study in the city of Adelaide. Great program. I can’t comment on your suitability for the program in NSW as I don’t know your background (sorry!)
A few reasons. I love UniSA’s branding program. Look up How Brands Grow by Byron Sharp. One of the best, statistics based no bullshit marketing books out there. The business school also has double accreditation by AACSB and EQUIS. That won’t mean much to you right now but it tells you that the school has been quality controlled by both the American and European business school bodies. Not many programs are double accredited. Plus the uni is very industry oriented and has come through Covid well relative to other unis. All pluses imo

Hi sir John here From India. I got Admit in university of Adelaide for masters of engineering (Chemical) for the July intake with 30% scholarship. What's your opinion and my job prospects after my master's in chemical engineering and about my PR chances? Thanks in advance
Hi John - thanks for the message. UoA is a very reputable uni. Not sure about Chem Eng specifically but it's a program that's accredited by Engineering Australia so I would be confident in it. Chem Eng is on the skilled migration list: Search for "chemical engineer" here immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list PR depends on many things and on what "channel" you're hoping to come through. There are restrictions on PR if you take the post-study work visa, I believe, so hopefully you would want to find work/sponsorship while you're here. Not fully sure of the logistics of that but Australia is going to need lots of skilled people after Covid so I'd be pretty confident of finding something with an engineering masters.
I couldn't give you a 100% answer on that, because I don't work for immigration, but my gut instinct would say cyber security. It's going to be a core skill needed everywhere in the world. Maybe check with one of Australia's national IT associations for a definitive answer.
do you think the online programs currently offered by Adelaide is good enough in terms of teaching qualities? I am looking to apply for online Graduate Certificate in Business Administration
I haven't looked at that program for awhile. The university is going through quite a few changes at the moment and has been unsettled for maybe 2 years. However, I REALLY like the new Vice Chanceller (Peter Hoj) who has started. He used to be at UniSA and also ran UQ - a very smart guy and I think he'll be a great leader for UoA.
Adelaide is considered "regional" for the purposes of post-study work rights, so in that way it is a good option. I don't know what IT companies are there, but if you're doing anything like cyber-security, data analytics etc. you should find work just about everywhere.
Hello Rob, I want to apply for Doctorate by research in Human Resource Management in Adelaide. Because i like relatively quiet and low living cost city In your opinion, Which one do you think is the best in this subject between University of Adelaide, Unisa or Flinders?
Congrats on considering a PhD. Adelaide is a great city for both cost of living and a lower stress environment. PhDs by research are very specific so I wouldn’t want to recommend any exact uni. They are as much about the supervisor and topic as they are about the uni itself. Maybe the supervisor is even more important than the uni. All 3 unis have some research strengths, so try to find the research strengths that align best with your interests.
Heyy!! Can u suggest which universities are good for studying radiology or dentistry in Australia? And plz tell me which is having better scope in near future - Dentistry or radiology? Thanks
Soooo many teaching those subjects and both are accredited disciplines so the course HAS to cover the same content basically wherever you go. Both dentistry and radiology have plenty of prospects - both will always be needed! AI can't replace a dentist! Can it replace a radiologist? Maybe more likely than a dentist... Adelaide is a good city. I'd also look at Perth and Brisbane - all are cheaper cities to live in with good lifestyles and lots of opportunities.
@@ChoosingYourUni Based on jobs .Part time and also the jobs after PG.Coz i've heard that there are no jobs in adelaide because the companies only hire the ones who have a PR or an australian citizenship
If you’re an international student there is a post-study work visa (you’ll find the details via the Australian Govt visas). This gives you permission to work anywhere so you could always move after studying. That said, Melbourne is 4x bigger than Adelaide, so naturally there will be more jobs there. I’d recommend that you look at what sorts of internships are available through each of those universities because one of the best ways to find a full-time job is to already make connections by doing internships in companies during your degree.

Then that would be a great thing to do! Imagine studying in the same place where your Graddad did! That’s very cool!
A Life That Travels yes that would be great 😄 my grandpa would be happy from up there when seeing me school in his university.. i just realized adelaide so amazing when i saw your video
That’s so cool!
I’ve done a couple of vlogs in and around Adelaide. If you want to see more of the city just search for “A Life That Travels Adelaide vlog” on YT and you’ll find them.
Would this university be hard to get into for an international student to do nursing?
That depends on you and your application. It would be a good uni for it.
Hi sir
John here From India.
Chem Eng is on the skilled migration list: Search for "chemical engineer" here immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list
PR depends on many things and on what "channel" you're hoping to come through.
Sir which is good course in IT master of information technology (enterprise management) or master of cyber security for PR and jobs in Australia
I couldn't give you a 100% answer on that, because I don't work for immigration, but my gut instinct would say cyber security. It's going to be a core skill needed everywhere in the world. Maybe check with one of Australia's national IT associations for a definitive answer.
It is good if you're willing to put in the effort.
Always 👍👍👍
do you think the online programs currently offered by Adelaide is good enough in terms of teaching qualities? I am looking to apply for online Graduate Certificate in Business Administration
Can’t say. Haven’t done any course online so not really in a position to give honest advice about how well the uni has done to make the transition.
@@ChoosingYourUni thanks for your reply. I’m gonna give a go and experience it first hand
Let me know how you go!
is bacher of physio good? from hk
That program is going to be pretty consistent across most universities as it is accredited.
is UoA great for computer science?
I haven't looked at that program for awhile. The university is going through quite a few changes at the moment and has been unsettled for maybe 2 years. However, I REALLY like the new Vice Chanceller (Peter Hoj) who has started. He used to be at UniSA and also ran UQ - a very smart guy and I think he'll be a great leader for UoA.
Can I get jobs in adelaide in IT sector ???
Adelaide is considered "regional" for the purposes of post-study work rights, so in that way it is a good option. I don't know what IT companies are there, but if you're doing anything like cyber-security, data analytics etc. you should find work just about everywhere.
Hello Rob,
I want to apply for Doctorate by research in Human Resource Management in Adelaide.
Because i like relatively quiet and low living cost city
In your opinion, Which one do you think is the best in this subject between University of Adelaide, Unisa or Flinders?
Congrats on considering a PhD. Adelaide is a great city for both cost of living and a lower stress environment.
PhDs by research are very specific so I wouldn’t want to recommend any exact uni. They are as much about the supervisor and topic as they are about the uni itself. Maybe the supervisor is even more important than the uni.
All 3 unis have some research strengths, so try to find the research strengths that align best with your interests.
I like to study engineering
Good!
For Masters in biotechnology is this university is good?
Check out qilt.edu.au and look to see it’s strengths. There are also some “subject specific” rankings out there that you could look up.
Hey I’m wishing to apply for the same program, I have few options and Uni of Adelaide is an option which I hope is a good one!
Which university is better according to you? Deakin or uni Adelaide?
Based on what? Jobs? Learning outcomes? Connections? Social life? City? What do you like outside of the classroom?
Uni Adelaide no doubt!!!
