Thank you for this video. I visited Adelaide when I was 15 yrs old, stayed almost 3 months for surgeries. It was the place that opened my minds, how big, and beautiful the world is. I then pursued my education in the States, and have lived here for 25 years. My dream is to go back to Adelaide one day, I'd love to meet some of the nurses that took care of me, they were some of the nicest people I ever met in my life. So, thank you for this great video.
So sorry that your reply has nothing to do with homelessness you know people living on streets, mother's from abusive relationship let's look at what Adelaide looks like on the outside and put aside the people struggling in our street and worry about 2pigs in Rundle mall and the 2 balls that our state cares more about that the people who are struggling.
@DiLee-xr1yc Sorry that you are going through that. All states have the same problem. I worked as a volunteer with homeless people for 3 years. Unfortunately, some are their own worst enemy. A lot of them rejected accommodation when offered and so on. Just in case you don't know, there are Charities that are paid by the State and Federal Government to help the homeless, and they get paid a lot to do so. So you need to go to the Charities to help you etc. The Adelaide Council might have a list.
I’m a local and proud to see this video. One of the statues you showed was a woman called Mary Lee (the one in the bonnet). South Australia was the second place in the world to give women the right to vote (New Zealand was the first) and she was a part of that movement.

I'm glad you enjoyed Adelaide. I moved here from Sydney over 30 years ago and although I still call Sydney home I love Adelaide. There is so much to do and see without having to travel great distances. From the centre of Adelaide 45min drive north you are in Australia's biggest and best wine districts. To the east 25 minutes drive your at the beach. And to the east into the hills you have so many sights and tourist towns to visit. Adelaide has it all.
Thank you very much. I suspect the charms won't be hidden for much longer. We have more Adelaide coming up. Love the Barossa region! Feels very much like California my former home. 👍😀
I am an Adelaide local and thoroughly loved your video, it's both fascinating and wonderful seeing through the eyes of tourist. So glad you enjoyed our wonderful city. Please come back and visit :)
As an Asian and a gay person, I visited Adelaide for 1 week last year, exploring the culture and dating scene. I felt like people were mostly keeping to themselves. When I first entered a train, I didn't know how to make a payment for and validate a ticket. I was obviously confused, and nobody really cared til I asked someone for an instruction. He reluctantly helped and ignored me afterwards. Admittedly, I failed in securing a date or relationship. I like your profile picture. Would you be interested in getting to know me? 😅😅😅
I've lived in Adelaide all my life and every time i travel to amazing places in their own right I'm reminded how great my home town is. I even learned a couple of things from your video so thanks for that 😊

Adelaide looks great, especially all of the parks around the centre. Feels like a very liveable city and great that it also has a free tramway like Melbourne. Very informative video, thank you!
Adelaide was no 3 at 2021 (no 1 in Australia) most liveable city in the world behind Auckland and Osaka. It is currently at 12, share with Perth, another great city in Western Australia.
Adelaide wasn't called 'The City of Churches' because it had so many, but rather because it was the capital city of the colony which guaranteed freedom of religious practice (principally the Lutherans from parts of Germany)

The reason the streets change name in the city is pretty interesting. King William Street runs north/south along the CBD, and any east/west road will change name either side of King William. Because, apparently, you shouldn't cross a king

Thanks for the great video you did a fantastic job the way you showed Adelaide off. A very beautiful city. Once Brisbane gets too big I want to move to Adelaide. And then when it gets too big I’ll go to Hobart 😅
HAHA, I understand. But won't you miss the weather moving to the cooler south?
Skip Adelaide and go straight to Hobart and then Adelaide won't get too big.
