Why did you disconnect the battery terminal?
Good vid , tried this on my 2009 Outback but even with the alternator fully bottomed out it was a struggle to get the new power steering pump belt on. Also disconnecting the battery for awhile resets my car's computer and I get a low idle for a day until the computer finally irons it out.

@@1AAuto just broke the tension adjuster nut 😬, now I'm installing a new one along with the adjustment bolt and nuts. So the 2 nuts are ran up to the top of the bracket, tightened against each other, but a little space to allow the adjustment. These nuts are then what keep the bolt from turning out of adjustment by restricting any upward movement?
Two different belts or was it two of the same one?

Couple questions: I'm looking for parts on your website. Is a "serpentine belt" the power steering belt? And the AC belt, which one would that be? Or are they two of the same belts?

I got the ac and pulley belt on. But I couldn't get the other one on that goes on for the alternator. It won't slide on like the old one. Any tips to get it on? I almost had it on but it's like it is a little small but I check all the size fitments and it's the correct belt. But it won't go on like you showed on the video. Help lol.
Same issue here. Part #809218370 The alternator is down as far as it goes and can't get the belt to go on. I also noticed my old belt is half the width of the new one.
Does this take 2 different belts or are both belts the same?
