    The Course Lock mode makes it really easy to get tracking / flyby shots while you stay focus on a subject / area! Watch this video for a quick how to and some great tips and examples
    The Course Lock mode on the Phantom 4 is one of my favorite modes to use. It is a really great mode that enables you to get flyby shots while remaining focused on a particular area. In this mode the Phantom keeps a preset heading that you configure as being forward and then while in the mode that will always be forward regardless of the direction that the Phantom 4 is pointed. This helps you with just having to concentrate on the direction the camera is pointed and the speed of the Phantom and keeps you from having to constantly manipulate the path that the Phantom 4 travels in.

    enjoy your videos on the phantom 4. could you show more of the dji app when you are in different modes. seeing the app and being able to back up the video to make sure i understand what you are doing in the app helps me learn the app better. It may be very basic to others but I want to learn correctly. I am showing my grandchildren how to properly fly the drone and seeing the app on the screen is a big help.

    I have watched many video reviews on the P 4 and also the x star premium, I was kinda tore between which I wanted the most. It wasn't till I saw what you have to do to update the x star that I decided the P 4 is a much better choice. I can say without a doubt your videos are by far the best videos going. Most informative and no BS. Thanks.

    • @BillNicholsTV
      @BillNicholsTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to update the P4 just as well - both companies release updates on a regular basis - thanks for watching!

    • @joecat101
      @joecat101 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I understand both have updates but on the x star you have to take the memory card out of the drone and put it in your computer to download updates than put it back in the drone to update the drone than if you have more than one battery you have to take the card back out, put it back in your computer and rename the downloaded update file than put it back in the drone to update each battery. The P 4 is infinitely easier, that's what I meant . Also I don't think the x star has anything like course lock intelligent flight mode.

    • @stephenhillyard8407
      @stephenhillyard8407 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      X star premium does have IOC, course lock. It is real easy to use. There is a switch on the side of the controller that you set after you have the direction of flight you want to go. You don't have to do it in the app.
