The Royal Family were again ducking for cover from another barrage of ‘truth bombs’ from the Duchess of Sussex this week. Meghan gave an extraordinary interview to US publication The Cut, which the Daily Mail’s Diary editor Richard Eden believed amounted to a series of ‘threats’. ‘What was notable about the interview was no so much what Meghan did say, but it was what she didn’t say,’ he told our royal programme Palace Confidential. ‘She made a series of very unsubtle hints that she could say a lot more in the future. It seemed to be clear that they were threats. She was coming across as saying, “I can say these things, I’ve chosen not to.” She even dropped a hint by saying, “I was keeping a daily diary.”’ He adds: ‘The timing, as well - on the eve of their visit to Britain - it’s really shocking in so many ways.’

Tessa’s advice is truly terrible. You do not love-bomb people who abuse and use you. She also seems to think Meghan was smart to come into the royal family and take all the benefit of the fame she was afforded by being associated with them and then attack them as she leaves - Tessa’s moral compass needs resetting.

Tessa is the quintessential, willingly blind, enabler for Meghan. Even after it was discovered she manufactured the story about being "celebrated in the streets" claiming to be Nelson Mandela 2.0 Please ! And I'm sorry...her Podcast reviews are horrible. She's a laughing stock. If they rate at all, it is the "train wreck" you have to see to believe.
Why can't Megan just do her supposedly philanthropy work instead of complaining how she is treated by the media and the royal family. Bearing grudges and subtle threats is not the way to go.
I am so tired of ppl giving M and H a pass. She was in the RF for a hot min, only completing 72 days vs Princess Annes 700 engagements over the same period. I completely understand btw that she thought she could handle it but found it too constraining, had issues with the tabloid press etc. So it's all very understandable that they decided this wasn't for them. So they left, again no problem, all wished them well.
But that wasn't enough, they wanted it all their way. And got very puffed up when they didn't. IMO the fact that they didn't is the reason for Harry being bitterness and for Meghan's anger at having all that she wanted crushed.
Lastly but most importantly, lets remember that the RF are his and her family. The same family who is complicated, not perfect like all families but they loved Harry and supported him. And this is their reward. It's disgusting, it's immoral and shame on them.

The main issue with Methane amongst many is she doesn’t have a sense if humour, wit or irony. She is far too vain and self self conscious to get the funny side of life.
She has been known to throw back her head and guffaw, such as after she admitted, "I WAS SUCH A FRAUD", or bellowed "WE JUST CAME TO PITCH" (at the Lion King premiere).
She is not on top of Spotify chart they keep fiddling the chart numbers to try and make her look better. The woman is just evil.

Tessa has absolutely no idea what it is like in the U.S. No one believes that Markle's Spotify is number 1. I can't understand why people outside of the U.S. seem to think they know how we feel. The duo is not well-thought of and many people don't even know who they are. And many people in the States do not like hypocrites!

I think we get mixed messages, Sandra. On the one hand we hear that the US media is kind - supportive, even - to the Sussexes, but then when we look at comment sections there are very few that are positive.

Her body language is pushy, rude, aggressive, and thoroughly repulsive. It isn't even the content we are objecting to - it's the way she steamrollers everyone else as they TRY to add articulate, well-thought-out comments to the discussion.

You're so right. My friend was 6 when she lost her mother to a long drawn out cancer. Every week in Britain a woman is killed by her partner often with children as witnesses. Many wife beaters often beat the children too. Harry's mother did all she could to give him a wonderful childhood. He should be celebrating how lucky he was to have known her.

To the panelist who said that Americans love a royal title and the royal glitter: (that’s not an exact quote) most Americans love and respect the Queen and how she has reigned so well for 70 years. We also value, most of us, our families, so we do not like how Megan has destroyed her family relationships, and has caused Harry to destroy his family relationships.

Look at the interview on Oprah and other interviews, look at Megan‘s podcast. Perhaps if he woke up from the dream he seems to be in, that Meghan has cast over him, maybe he would realize that he wants to undo this stuff. But he has to do the waking up, unless the royal family wants to stage an intervention. And I can’t imagine that the royal family would invite them to Balmoral to visit, because who can trust that they wouldn’t be recording things or videotaping or writing things in a journal or a diary. They cannot be trusted: look at Harry talking to that reporter the day after the Invictus games ended and blabbing about what he talked about with the Queen, or what he thinks he talked about with the Queen, claiming that she tells him stuff she doesn’t tell anyone else. many endure such tragedies, how their families would love their troubled family member to have the finance and access to the best of the best psychiatrists, to be able to go to another country, stay in comfort and grieve .
I am not suggesting this should not have happened, it should have.
Why Harry through his sad loss and memories though cannot acknowledge many children endure the same tragedies without the ability and advantages he had to have the best help available at he time. Come on Harry and Meghan being grateful and appreciative for the help you have received will actually help bear the load of loss and take the focus off yourselves thinking of those who dont have this help.

I think what people have to remember is that often the British media invites someone to take the opposing popular view in order to try to provide a "balanced interview". Just think, if everyone was of the same opinion it would be easy for certain people (like H and HW) to continue to blame the media for a seemingly negative bias. While of course I don't agree with the 'pro-M' stance in any way, I understand the context. It is okay, the truth about M is coming out regardless of those who are supportive of her!!
Tessa is paid off big-time to say all this. That's why they bring her in. It's the most forced, contrived - and, by the way, offensive tactic I can think of. PLEASE STOP, we do NOT need to hear the "good side" of Meghan any more than we need to hear dictators and supremacists defended as "not all that bad". I’m American, and I never heard of her until she was linked to Prince Harry. Marrying into the royal family isn’t easy. You have to give up a lot of your personal goals. She would have to come from Mars not to know what would be required from her. The word narcissist fits her well.
She knew exactly what she was doing. Bag the dimwit, have her princess dream wedding and high tail it back to California with those titles.
The Queen gave her a choice: she could carry on working as an actress and live a life similar to the other minor royals like Beatrice and Eugenie, but she would not be titled or work for the Firm. Or, she could become a working royal and a Duchess. I have no doubt that both options were explained to MM, including the pros and cons. She made her choice but now she appears unwilling to accept any responsibility for it. From what I can gather, she is now telling the world that she should have been entitled to both options. She claims other royals are, but I’m afraid she is not telling the truth.

I'm speaking myself as a British Citizen and in my opinion Harry and Me'ghan need to disappear into the privacy they craved and wanted. When H&M left the Royal family, they left - strip them of their titles and send them adrift. The two MAJOR differences in my opinion between Prince William and Harry - Prince William honours his mother and supports her legacy and grieves privately. Harry uses his mother's death to promote his private business affairs.
