I just bought my house about 2-3 months ago. Fired my H2 up for the first time and I left both blower motor doors open to get a fire going good and hot faster before bed tonight. I went back out to check 30min later and there was water on my concrete pad at the back of the stove. This stove has sat a couple years without running or anything so I’m assuming it must have a cracked tank, idk what else it would be and I didn’t see any signs of a boil over out of my water stack or over flow hose. I hope it’s not to hard to fix if it’s a cracked tank.
Oh no... hopefully once you get into it you'll find a leak at a fitting or water line and not a cracked tank...my recirculating pump for the upstairs was stuck when I bought my house ..had to remove it and get it freed up but the casting for that pump cracked really easy when I put it back on...so be mindful of that if you have to take your recirculating pumps off...
@@straightcutgeerz well when I got up the next morning it was still full of wood from the night before but looked like it hasn’t leaked anything. It ran all day but had half a load left when I got home at 3pm it also boiled over. Im guessing my house is so well insulated it just doesn’t need to work so hard but my blower motor damper solenoid blew the first time I plugged the stove in so I had the damper cracked up a bit to keep from burning my blower motor up. So I’m thinking it was to much air draft and kept the fire hot so after that I have it just barely cracked so it can still suck air when the blower kicks on but not enough for it to still draw air by itself. Also when I started the stove my water level was a inch above the little pipe that’s in the side of your water stack, after leaking and boil over it was riding above the float and it staid there yesterday evening and I’m gonna check it again today.

I don't have any issues with my pumps...what issue are you having?
