Momonga was quite the roleplayer. His whole build, as powerful as it is, was built around the theatrics of being the scary skeleton lord.

he is quite weak for a level 100 player. because he focused on RP and not PVP
he is still strong
@@fabi3790 To be more specific it's stated that he was average in PVP but very good at making use of intel to establish strategies. So in general, if he knew who he was gonna fight he would win but otherwise he tended to lose a lot. His knowledge wasn't enough against naturals like TouchMe tho.
@@koldmotro5530 But now he studies other species to get stronger right ? So he may become a PVP master of sorts ? I cant wait for more episodes. I just discovered overlord like two weeks ago and I watched all seasons in one day. Its such a good anime cant wait how much it progresses.
They don't talk about it or confirm it, but he's not stuck in the game. The Tomb and everyone and everything in the Tomb became real and at the same time got teleported to another world.
Oh right! Strange they literally don’t say that in the show! 🤣
@@ProjectSenpai Its not like he can confirm it. He did a "test" on Albedo to see what's going on, and he even thought the game might have become real but he dismissed the thought immediately.
yea i heard later on in the LN's they talk about the real world he lives in but dont go that far. so its hinted he still lives in his world and here the question is what will they do with it?
Nah, the boy signed something he didn't even read years ago and is part of something experimental.
I think the deeper voice is the actual voice of the character and when he is thinking that is the voice of his real world self. Its not him putting on a voice but what comes naturally to the character he created.
Is the skeleton dude a good guy or a bad guy? Answer: Yes. That glow isn't a powerup, as an undead he is supposed to be emotionless so that glow is his emotions being dampened.
There have been a lot of reactions to overlord in the past month and I gotta say all of them have been very different. I enjoy this 2 person setup for reaction. Also overlord is an anime more focused on world building so u might feel like it's slower(well from season 2 onward). I hope u guys will enjoy this show.

@@immortaldemon (ninja Kuma react) his reactions are very longer and he knows about war stuff so I liked to hear his knowledge. (Boomsentai) he appreciates the story and pays attention a lot, his reaction is really enjoyable. Another great reactor was also doing it, but I think something happened in his RL and he stopped uploading all together. And then there yaboirocklee.

One of my favourite series. I wish the series was handed better by the studio with the cgi and missing out most of the light novels. Each season needed to be 20+ episodes
To be fair, even then the anime still has it's own unique "charm" I guess, like the CGI kinda fits the theme of monsters/summons a lot, but yeah especially in S3 it often looked plain bad :I
It is like Tensura (Slime Isekai), but unlike Tensura which also has great animations (not insane, but still very good and consistent), Overlord lacks mainly there. Both shows provide plenty of entertainment, world building and character development though :)
@@sagi3933 Both Overlord and Tensura are some of my favourite anime series and even with its short comings I love the Overlord anime.
Like I said each season needed to about 20/25 instead of 13 as they are missing a lot of content as the author basically created two worlds the game and fantasy world with tons of details. I'm starting to read the Light Novels to see what they've missed
@@ff10fire666 I couldn't wait and also read the LN's, though only starting where the anime left of, and damn I hope they won't butcher Overlord S4... I pray to see a longer season with the Dwarf Arc, the Baharuth Colosseum Arc, the Holy Kingdom Arc and finally the Re-Estize Arc. I didn't quote actual Arc titles here to avoid spoilers and cause I don't know the exact titles, but I hope they go through at least the and and 3rd in Season 4, or through all with a long Season :)
Also damn I need Tensura LN 20 so badly, but 19 just came out at the end of last year =I
@@sagi3933 Ya for 2022 I started collecting LN including Overlord, Shield Hero, Re:Zero, Slime and Konosuba as Im tired of waiting for their next seasons.
If only 'Sword Art Online' could have this quality of story pacing and recognition. Kirito could learn a bit from Ainz about how to adapt to an edge lord type of character. I would to see a crossover with these animes. Imagine it, Kirito and Asuna walking right into Nazarick to meet the overlord himself.

Momonga removing the fact that she's a "bitch" when that was never the case just confuses things when you analyze it abit further down the line xD

“What kind of backstory was she designed with?”
All Momonga knew about her character was that she was the Overseer of the Guardians, as well as the highest-ranked NPC in Nazarick.
Driven by curiosity, Momonga opened up a console and began scrolling through the details of Albedo’s flavor text.
A flood of densely-packed characters filled his vision. It was like reading an ancient epic poem. If he took his time to read it in detail, he would probably still be reading until the game ended.
Momonga felt like he had stepped on a landmine. If he could move, he would have been trembling now.
He wanted to scold himself for having forgotten that Albedo’s creator was obsessed with this sort of thing.
However, since he had already opened it, he had no choice but to abandon his resistance and continue scrolling.
He didn’t even skim the text for the important points; he simply scrolled to the bottom as fast as he could while looking at the title.
After skipping past vast expanses of text, Momonga’s mind settled on the last line, and froze.
“She is also a slut.”
He could not help but stare.
“…Eh? What does this mean?”
A cry of disbelief escaped Momonga’s nonexistent lips. He looked the words over several more times, eyes filled with suspicion, but in the end, he could not find any other meaning to them. After several rounds of thought, he could only come to the conclusion he had started with.
“A slut… it must be an insult of some sort.”
Each of the forty one guild members had designed their own NPCs, so he could not understand why anyone would want to treat the NPCs they had designed themselves in this manner. Perhaps he would understand why after reading that long essay of flavor text.
However, there were guild members who would come up with these unconventional designs.
Albedo’s designer, Tabula Smaragdina, was one of those people.
“Ah, is this what they call gap moe? Tabula-san… even so…”
Isn’t a backstory like this far too much?
Momonga could not help but think that. All the NPCs made by everyone were an inheritance of the guild. Designing the highest-ranked NPC Albedo in this manner made him think that Tabula Smaragdina was beyond saving.
“Umu.”
Would it be fine to change an NPC’s backstory based on a personal decision? After thinking about it for some time, Momonga came to a conclusion.
“Should I change it?”
Currently, with the guild weapon in his possession, Momonga could be said to be the master of the guild. It should be all right to exercise the guildmaster’s authority he had never used before.
Momonga’s doubts vanished like mist, as he steeled himself to right the wrongs of his guildmate.
He extended the staff of Ainz Ooal Gown that he was holding. Normally, one would need developer tools to change a character’s backstory, but through his power as guildmaster, he could directly access her settings and edit them. After some action on his console, the “slut” line vanished.
“Well, it should be like that.”
Momonga thought a bit more, and looked at the gap in Albedo’s flavor text.
I should probably fill that up…
“This feels a little silly.”
Although he was laughing at himself, he still typed out a few words on the console keyboard. The words formed a sentence:
“She loves Momonga.”
“Uwah, how embarrassing.”
Am I the only one who would love for this “Yggdrasil” to be an actual game irl. Like it looks so cool. Tho if anything I’d make it like a normal video game instead of VR.

Albedo (best waifu) is a Succubus......have fun with that
One thing that should be pointed out early on because it doesn't translate well, her settings said albedo was a 'b!tch', but that word in japanese doesn't mean the same thing as it does in english. It basically means that in her original settings she was a sloot, so his change really only narrowed down her thirst to just him.
The whole show is hilarious and entertaining to a certain extent. One of the best Isekai animes in the late 2010's. Ainz is definitely a unique take on a protagonist for a anime. I would class him as a Anit-Hero type character. He is the perfect example for a future Isekai protagonist for another anime. Some people may argue with me, but Albedo is my number 1 Waifu in this anime and my 3rd favourite out of all anime so far.

the game is closing because the corporations dont want the players to feel like they deserve freedom and try to get worker rights so even tho the game still popular its being closed because it is "problematic" to the politics of the nations

i honestly prefer the voice of the mc more in the dub but the sub is not worse
