Some information about the Songs/Bands that i havent seen here yet. OxT(pronounced Okuto) is a group consisting of two men,Masayoshi Oishi the vocalist and Tomohiro Oshima (better known as Tom-H@ck) who does all kinds of producing and Instrument play. They did Opening 1,2 and 4 and Ending 3 Incidently Myth&Roid (pronounced Myth Android) is a band founded by Tom-H@ck that looks for uprising talent to nurture them for solo careers (there are more of these types of bands) but since their inception they only had 2 Vocalists: Mayu Maeshima, who did the first ending "L.L.L" (Leashed Luminous Love) which also was their debut single and kiHow who has a really beautiful voice and is their vocalist since 2017. kiHow did ED 2 and OP 3 and Mayu Maeshima came back as a solo artist for ED 4. Mayu Maeshima graduated and wasnt kicked btw ( i made it seem like she was kicked or smth like that MB) OxT - OP 1,2 and 4 ED 3 Myth& Roid - OP 3 ED 1 and 2 Mayu Maeshima - ED 4
This is one of few isekai, I know where Mc is ruthless in villainous way, to his enemies. He can even easily commit massacre to protect his people ( he's that kinda evil )
So it may be an isekai but I guarantee you it is not like anything you’ve seen, I’m not sure how you feel about isekai but it is more dungeon and dragons then anything else it is so good and the characters are so unique and the world is so diverse
The music for Overlord is always great, I can't wait for a season 5. With the disclaimer that my thoughts are based on the full versions of the songs I think my placements are 4,3,1,2 for the openings and 2,3,4,1 for the endings. It's hard to place any of them in last since they are so good and I have all eight songs on my playlists.
This anime is an amazing one. If people haven't seen it I like to recommend it all the time. Also the character you keep calling blue eyes is named Cocytus. He is actually an insect warrior.
The first ending-L.L.L.-is really good. I jokingly call it the Yandere National Anthem because if you read the translation of the lyrics, it’s the character on the screen singing about her love and how she wants to tear down all of the barriers between them-even if would mean dying.
@@PeaceReactsIf you have the time and opportunity, I can't recommend Overlord enough. It's the rare show that gets better and better as it progresses. The characters, story, world building and art all all top shelf.
Bit late to this reaction. But man this show is awesome. The world building and the lore in this anime is soo deep. The lore in this anime/light novels would probably be equal to the lore of Lord of the rings. Theres 6000 years of history and 100s of races an entire massive continent with different types of kingdoms/countries. I love this show.
@@PeaceReacts Way late to this, but if you're into world building then the light novels are tiers above the anime. A good 40-50% of the content is glazed/skipped in the anime, and things can seem a bit rushed/confusing when watching. Otherwise, the anime is a still a solid 7/10 once you get past the first 2-3 episodes ❤
To summarize the series in a short amount it would be about a man who played a MMO similar to something like League of Legends and he made a massive Castle with his friends in which they created all of these monsters as floor guardians for the Castle but the game was past its prime and being shut down. The Skeleton man stayed in the game until it shut down but little did he know he found himself trapped in the world in which the game took place. His main goal is to find out what happened to himself and see if any other players are still here. He also decided to conquer the world meanwhile just to pass the time. I also forgot to mention that him and his crew of guardians are Overpowered to the point that they hardly have to try and can beat anyone who threatens them.
He wasn't trapped in the game world His castle and several aspects of the game world were transported into a new world. Then he and all his minions were in a sort of stasis for hundreds of years in this new world only to suddenly awaken not even aware of the passed time. PS the stasis thing isn't confirmed yet, but seems to be the implication, and is a leading theory.
basically the game hes playing gets shut down and before shutdown he falls a sleep and wakes up and discovers that hes transported in to another world as hes game character with hes guild base and all the NPC the guild created who are no longer NPC's but sentient like humans
The Mechanics in this anime are heavily influenced by Dungeons & Dragons as the Mangaka made this Story because his D&D buddies had so little time that they couldnt play together (i read that somewhere so i dont know if that is correct) 0:32 He is a type of Undead called "Overlord" 1:14 That is a True Vampire 4:27 not gonna spoil anything but that thing was really hard to make iirc The rest you will have to watch the show for 😈 This anime is my second favourite after One Piece even though we only have 52 episodes and despite that fact this Masterpiece has more lore than most anime couldn't even dream of having.
The one part in opening 1 which you thought sounded like a Christmas song was possibly "Carol of the Bells"? They're both in a different time signature than usual, that being 6/8. The whole of opening 1 is not 6/8, but that one part specifically was.
The floating heart is Victim, it is an angel whose purpose is to be killed to cast some undefined spell that is supposed to stop a full scale invasion on their home
if you really liked some of these songs I encourage you to listen to the full size/versions of them (3 to 4min long), since what you listened are the tv size which are short (1:30min usually) and only for the show and really for enjoyment
Spoiler the princess in the second ending is probably the worst being in this anime, and there is a guy that has a farm were he skins humans alive and a guy that killed thousands of people

The OXT singer has a good and beautiful voice like a few other artists like Lisa, Tatsuya and others You should see the new opening for the anime mushoku tensei Or Fairy Tail, they're really cool . bro i am so glad you dont just react to the music, it bothers me so much when they say reacting to the openings and they have a static image or completely ignore the animation and just listen to the music, dont get me wrong, i love the songs, but thats 50% of the opening, just say you are reacting to the songs, but you did a great job, also you must be the first to ever stop to look at shalltear's leech form lol
you sometimes skip a bit of the openings and endings , its not a lot but it makes me annoyed , not that you have to cahnge what you are doing , i just felt like saying how i felt
I did it due to copyright, there are small sections getting hit, so I decided to slightly trim them. Although I don't do that anymore. Sorry about that
It's usually due to copyright which would cause me to otherwise reduce the audio of the music to almost silent, or audio disturbances that I can't fix and would hurt the video more, I try my best to make the cuts as short as possible. Sorry about that!
