In 3rd season bands doing Op and Ed switch places but only way to notice this is (my fav way) to watch them is in order Op 1, Ed1, Op2, ... etc. (and let's not forget about magnificent Ed 1.5 which is OVA version of Ed 1 sang by voice actors of maids)

Overlord is EXTREAMLY character centric. Not to say that there is a lack of events, and oh god there is worldbuilding. But the charakters is where its at

Also the artwork in the endings is meant to resemble the illustration style presented in the light novel material.

The OP's are bangers, but I honestly think the ED's (music-wise) are a cut above them, and despite not being animated the same way as the OP's, the ED's have more outstanding visuals too ;) just don't take the OVA ending too seriously for (I hope at the time) obvious reasons

there so many characters that the anime cant hold them all in both hands season 3 and we still havent seen all of the main ones i mean theres just so many hopefully in season 4 we get to see albedos sisters and some of the other characters left unseen so much lore its too much you cant handle all this fucking world building

I will say this to you, only because you are the last that I have seen... I'm saddened to see that (i assume you are in the US, if i'm wrong, i apologize) almost all of those who react, are practically not watching or listening to anything. You talk, you turn around, you start reflections on things that are not relevant to what you are doing. I think it is a big gap in the viable school system, and the approach with the humanities, you lack the keys to what is around you (on the other hand you have no history or literature to boast, if you're american). The openings are not simple videos, but real shorts that must leave their mark on those who see and listen to them. They are often created ad hoc, and have many details about the serie that must be captured. In all of this I don't want to be offensive, you can rightly do whatever you want. It's more of a tip, which in my opinion will also improve the quality of the content
