and yeah mayu maushima knows pretty good english because she have it in almost every song mainly long shot reline I recoment chech either re zero where she sings in 2nd and 4th opening and insert songs straight bet and theater D or All myth and roid songs because she is killing songs with her voice she is way better singer than many more but still LISA forever
So all the endings use images by the light novel illustrator himself So-bin. He's an amazingly good artist and has an unique style to him. I'm fairly certain a few of the images are drawn specially for the anime but I might be wrong about that. Also another thing to note is that both OxT and Myth and Roid both have the same composer Tom h@ck or Tom Hack. He also plays the guitar and more for OxT and Myth and Roid as well. So every opening and ending is composed by him (In collaboration with others) and the anime switches back and forth between the two bands.
The artists performed the season 1,2,4 OP and season 3 ED is OxT. The Op for season 3 and the ending for season 1,2 are played by Myth & Roid. Season 4 outro's singer is Mayu Maeshima, she's the vocalist of Myth & Roid.
This song ending 3 gave me chills first time I heard it. It played for me the moment I truly realized our main characters were the great evil upon the world. Makes you feel some kinda way…you were 100% correct about the tone shift. I’m surprised you got that without having seen it.

By that I mean "at the time in the show, in the show, with the characters, in the story, and in the climactic moments. Now that you have watched all the episodes, if you listen to them again, paying attention to all the lyrics, you will get a very different impression from these songs. I believe that the true value of an anime song is not only in the 1st time.

Overlord is a very special show. It's not perfect by any means, but the show run on Uniqueness fuel. The creativity is off the charts and it is one of the very few anime that TRULY feels like fantasy. For me after overlord that the outros is such a banger probably code geass. Code geass the opening and the outros is such different vibes. I even doesn't like the opening since it doesn't fit the vibe of the show. The outros more fit and i like it. Gintama has too but i won't suggest that since it was too much ending song 💀 (the show is long running show, about 300 eps more or less). And then Fire force. I don't quite much liking the show but i love their intro and outros especially first opening and outros. They are really banger

no, for the second ending, actually was performed yes by Myth and Roid but with the second singer, so not Mayu Maeshima

For recommendations, Attack on Titan has really good songs. Spy x Family, Call of the Night, and Re:ZERO also have really good ops and eds.
I definetly think you should check out Minamis "crying for rain". Her voice is incredible and the song itself is also very nice and quite unique
