Creative people fall into a special category when it comes to social media because there’s so much potential to make money regardless of your follower count. Thanks for watching! 🙏
This is such an amazing video. I just watched a different one of these and the bottom line there is get insta famous with an active community (with no tips) and get a website. This is so useful and inspiring I'm getting things together this week to start and generate some €€€ thanks for all that you do!
Appreciate you Evan for the plug in the video! I’d like to add, with have the 60k a lot of potential clients think I’m way out of their league/budget but I love shooting headshots, engagements, weddings, etc. I love to use the story method to post bout it to encourage people to reach out.
Didn't know if you missed the earlier questions: 3. Selling prints and Affiliate links What companies do you use to sale your prints? I noticed in your video you where showing Fine Art American page. Which ones do you recommend ? Do you use them to sell your images?
Btw I use fine art america it takes alot of work to get views on your photos However its good cos you can put the picture of any merchandise But you don't make much from it
Really useful video as always! Might seem like common sense to hit local businesses in order to try and help them, but I confess to not thinking in those terms. Thanks for more great content!
Lit video. Def going to try this. By the way did you ever wanna do that ATL photographers meetup idea you had? I'd be down to do something like that, especially since I don't know many fellow photographers here.
questions for you; when you take pics/photos and mass sell them do you need to copyright them? same goes for if you want to make them into postcards? if you take photos of people on the street should you have them sign a release? when you do another video can you talk about hashtags.... thank you!
This is something I have thought about a lot and still not figured out. I understand how one can make money by using Instagram to help sell a product or service. In that case, it is basically just used as advertising - a way to put your product or service in front of the eyes of potential customers. But what if you have no product or service to sell? What if you want people or companies to pay you money just to say something positive about them? The business model I am referring to would be like Kim Kardashian. She makes a freaking boatload of money on Instagram without selling any products. She gets paid to promote other people's products. For photographers like myself, who love photography but don't have any products to sell or services to offer, how can we make money in the same way that someone like Kim Kardashian makes money? That is what I have been trying to figure out for years, yet I don't know any more about it now than I did years ago. What do you suggest?
My Instagram strategy, don't post a photo unless it's a banger a$$ money shot that I would put in a calendar or unless it's a behind the scenes shot... how's that working out, been stuck at 55 FOREVER. I gain a few and loose a few every couple days, but I can't get followers for anything.
