Kyle if you want to care the holley dash shut off on start up bs. run an appropriate gage power wire directly to the battery. whats happening is the starter draw is dropping the voltage low enough to drop below minimum voltage to stay on. had same issue with 7'' dash. ran 20 awg wire to battery cut off and has be legit ever since.

@@Boostedlifestyle actually the Holley dash display reset about 6 sec, 3/4 track ~ 1000 ft, then afterword is seen blank post the parachute pull [perhaps became blank near the completion of the full 1320 pass], could clearly hear the engine still operating through the full pass, traps then the complete let off of the acceleration pedal, throttle then coasting through the shutdown area to the turn off. During the coasting, the Holley dash reappeared though the large circular dial appears to show on the zero level, though other numerical displays seems to have non-zero values along with the small round temperature display seems to be within proper range too; the precise numbers are not clearly visible though the lower number seems to show ~14.x [6?] (unknown measurement & units). Then Kyle shuts off the engine, turns off the key. Afterwards attempts to restart, the Holley dash shows a a start up display, "Holly EFI" on the black background screen. Then with an unsuccessful start via a short turnover attempt, Kyle sighs, states to the attendant "It's done!", takes his phone to contact others. Thus We are left "hanging" until the next video to know more details; the video title contains "... And I blew Up" => Thus indicating there was a major engine failure Also some posted comments indicate from IG, there is an engine swap, replacement ; a "Thompson motor [engine]" Am looking forward to seeing the next posted videos, with details, stories, challenges, problems, issues, persistence, determination, solutions and hopefully successes too. Your screen cut out at the end of that pass. Which means you lost power and it rebooted. Start checking your electrical system. Ill bet somethings loose somewhere in your main power feed to the ecu. I know its dumb, but check your battery terminals man. That engine doesnt sound hurt ,and never blew smoke, or gave any sign it was hurt.
Well I live in central Alberta and there is also a southern Alberta. There's even eastern and western Alberta. Alberta is almost the same size as Texas, so yeah, there's a lot of land here, so we brake it down into regions.
I just started the video and after watching Yesterdays video I don’t know why you guys are taking that car down the track it was so obvious that motor was going to fail. Change in the oil will not save a motor soon as you see chunks in it you stop take it apart. I know what’s wrong now I’ll be getting a video.
That's usually how it goes with anything motor sports related iam remember back in my moto cross day and iam old so I used to ride man's bike you Yong bucks might not have heard of them but they were called 2 strokes but anyways I specifically remember that I knew when my bike needed piston and rings cause it would run like a ra*ed ape right before it said yea no more have a nice push back to truck and good luck getting this piston unwelded from the cylinder so yea thats pass checks out about how it goes lays down an absolute rip than you shut it off to grab the Landry and it says yea bud call for a push back to trailer and while your on way to trailer get on market place and try and find someone close with a complete bullet that we can try and get in tonight to race tomorrow with minimal tools and also in the US when from Canada but I've watch you for awhile now and you got some serious determination and are willing to grind hard to accomplish what your doing so iam willing to bet that that car will be making a pass before events over keep grinding brother you'll get it done !!!!!! P.S get that V!!!!!!!
