- I've wanted to do this for a while! Well, at least since I bought these little spiral notebooks. Theyre so cute. I had to draw on them. At first i thought i'd draw in them, but now i think "on them" seems far better. haha Can't wait to show you!

Congrats! 👍 That's always difficult. My go to is a character that I know that I can draw (my fly called Splash), usually making snarky comments about either me, the medium or life in general.
I always draw him because I know how to draw him, which means no stress. 😉
damn, I felt that ''it just hurts the most is seeing things that I know I've practiced and concurred at some point, and feeling lost in those areas'' you've perfectly summed up that specific frustrating feeling. love it!
it comes with time! i think the most important thing is to not let it stop you from creating. realising it doesn't have to control you. 💜💜 There is a solution, and that requires perservearance. 💜

I've been personally also struggling to 'reconquer' my ability to draw people and for a bit of it I felt very much like I must have failed at art.
So it was really really uplifting to see it isn't just a me thing and that it's something I can get back to with enough patience
You are such an art idol of mine because I stopped drawing for a couple of years and then I found your videos. I started drawing and I realized that I really did love it and have even discovered what I love to draw and started developing a style, so thanks for your amazing content 😊

Youre right, the first painting doesn't look like your style. At least it doesn't look like your current one. It reminds me a lot of your older work. Looking at it brought back a few memories from when I first started watching you. Then you did the second painting and it got a little closer, and then the last one really encapsulated your current style. It was like watching you grow as an artist all over again.

I don’t want to say I am happy to hear you say that you can tell you are out of practice on your artwork and feel pained by realizing you have conquered things before, but it was “nice” to hear. I recently started back to drawing people and regularly and have realized that I like it, but I’m out of practice. My Art doesn’t quite look like mine, but I do like it. But dang I can see how I have regressed in some areas. It helped me feel better as a newer artist to learn even a well seasoned artist has the same issues. Thanks for sharing. This is why you are my number 1 fave!

i totally relate to the "feeling like you have lost something you once conquered". I feel like my art peaked in 2018/2019, made a lot of progress. and then everything went downhill. Btw I really like the first one even if it doesn't completely fit with the set at the end

Presonaly my favorite is the camp girl. Idk she just pops out and I love it. And I love her background and how it all went together. They look really pretty and I love your videos and art style 🥰
I was happy when I saw this because I’m writing a comic and one of my characters she has clouds for hair and her hair changes depending on her mood. Like if she’s depressed it’s raining, when she’s happy it becomes really fluffy, when she’s irritated it’s dark grey with thunder, when she’s mad it’s thunder and lightning, when shes really really mad it’s a tornado. When she’s just going ballistic not only is her hair a hurricane but she effects the weather around her as well.
I may get some! I can see these for doing portraits, fashion, and the likes for stories And these came out great! My favorite is the girl with the red background.

I love how realistic about art you are. Ive been watching you for years ( 3 maybe 4 ) and you’ve improved my art but also my attitude towards it. I rarely compare my art to others, i come up with an idea and work o it for some time instead of jumping right in to a final piece. You’ve taught me so much! And you aren’t someone who always shows the perfect pieces, with no struggle and no fuss! Your attitude is so realistic and i admire you a lot ^^ :}
