- I've always wanted to make trading cards for my Original Characters and today I'm finally sitting down and starting it. I have a lot of OC's and this hardly scratches the surface. (and I need to give Dex another go, for honor and dignity, lol) So I'd like to try tackling this project again in the near future!

That’s so dope!! It’s like collecting Pokémon cards, but the art is their personalized OC, which is awesome. So eventually you’ll have a deck of cards with different art styles and such! I’m getting some myself now!

"When they were popular" - these are super popular in Germany, actually! They're called "Kakao Karten" here, which translates to "cocoa cards", which is pretty cute!

Hey waffles! Could you maybe do a video on like alcohol markers, versus coloring pencils, versus watercolor paints? Oh and you could draw something like different dragons!
i'm most comfortable with alcohol based markers so I know which one would win in my video. but it honestly comes down to experience and works best for each individual artists' style. 💜
@@drawingwiffwaffles I mean like you could use the different mediums to draw something, and let the fans decide which one looks the best! That way you can get the fans involved and have fun drawing in different mediums! I should have said that earlier, sorry. XP

@@drawingwiffwaffles What if you try drawing the same thing with the different mediums? So same artwork in markers, pencils and watercolours and see how they turn out?
It's Jodie it wouldn’t be a fair challenge really because art supplies take time and practice to get to know and use well.
Rin is more comfortable with alcohol markers so her drawing with those would come out better than with a medium she is less familiar with. Other people would have different results depending on their preferred medium, for example my one using coloured pencils would probably be better than one using paints or pens as I am much more comfortable using coloured pencils.

Have been a member of a German ATC/ACEO community for more than a decade now! Took a long break and I'm slow in general, but I still made 200+ cards until now. I just love how you trade them afterwards, there's so many cool cards in my folder, they're my treasures
