One cant really blame the students, what practical exposure does the teachers have?? they do their education and start their career in teaching profession. If they work in relevant industries and then start teaching, they can impart the practical knowledge. Teaching methods needs a overhaul.
@@nagendraprasadr9278 what you are saying is true but even if lecturers have industrial experience, it would only be of a specific industry while higher secondary education and UG is more generic in nature to open scope for multiple fields. While we might remember one or two teachers we had who taught us with passion, for most it was just their job and I think that's how it would be. But I do agree, the exam questions and study materials must highlight the practical utility of the topic especially for mathematics.

Most of the schools teach all this . But, its not properly taught . The topics and problems are taught raw . it should have more explanation . Most of the questions in trigonometry in my school at least was raw. like : - If sin (sin-115 + cos-1x) = 1, then find the value of x. Now this is ok. but if the complete text book is filled with problems like this, a kid in that age will never understand its implementation . Instead every questions must be like this : "Imagine you are a surveyor tasked with determining the height of a tall building without directly measuring it. You have a theodolite, which is an instrument that can measure angles. You position yourself at a known distance from the base of the building and measure the angle of elevation to the top of the building. Using trigonometry, how can you calculate the height of the building?"

Na a²+b²=c² 9th la padichen but for 5 years this formula wasn't usefull for me but epo na govt entrance exam ku padikiren intha formula epo use anguthu.. ninga nanikilam intha formula just one mark ku dhan keppanga but that one mark decide my life (merit list). So education is important it may not be usefull for certain period of time but it will be useful, to teach your children..
If you take any sports, we will need to apply many of these formulas. Say for example Football, you will need to plot the players and thir position in th field, estimate the position of your team member and opponents, their distance away from you, the power you need to kick the ball, applying all possible formulas to tackle and finding the goal post, their speed, distance, velocity, angle of deviation, probability of the opponent geting the ball 😅 etc etc to pass a single ball. Very simple example, what if we wanna go somewhere , we will still need to know the time, distance and speed you wanna travel.

Hello Sir, To formulate this video, you would have had to search for a bunch of explanations. If we could incorporate this effort into syllabus and problem construction this would offer significant sense of purpose. Furthermore making tinkerable projects like a clinometer or using the mobile phone to track the trajectories of moving bodies, identify acceleration, speeds etc will give rise naturally to wonderful project ideas. Making education actionable, immersive and implementable will alter the technical advancement trajectory of India.

Even btech students keep asking, there is no need for maths. Problem is many are not ready to understand where these concepts are used.
One cant really blame the students, what practical exposure does the teachers have?? they do their education and start their career in teaching profession. If they work in relevant industries and then start teaching, they can impart the practical knowledge. Teaching methods needs a overhaul.
@@nagendraprasadr9278 what you are saying is true but even if lecturers have industrial experience, it would only be of a specific industry while higher secondary education and UG is more generic in nature to open scope for multiple fields.
While we might remember one or two teachers we had who taught us with passion, for most it was just their job and I think that's how it would be.
But I do agree, the exam questions and study materials must highlight the practical utility of the topic especially for mathematics.

Most of the schools teach all this . But, its not properly taught . The topics and problems are taught raw . it should have more explanation . Most of the questions in trigonometry in my school at least was raw. like : - If sin (sin-115 + cos-1x) = 1, then find the value of x. Now this is ok. but if the complete text book is filled with problems like this, a kid in that age will never understand its implementation .
Instead every questions must be like this :
"Imagine you are a surveyor tasked with determining the height of a tall building without directly measuring it. You have a theodolite, which is an instrument that can measure angles. You position yourself at a known distance from the base of the building and measure the angle of elevation to the top of the building. Using trigonometry, how can you calculate the height of the building?"
I am studying physics(mechanics)and actually trigonometry has a big influence in Vector's theories we can work and calculate those theories only using trigonometry

you should understand that you are actually studing during your work phase that is research .............are you sure you remembering complete 6th to 12th foundation ?
Yes we are made to remember our entire foundation, let me explain you , while dealing with a problem statement the solutions that we come with makes us remember our foundation education, since robotics is a multidisciplinary we see that what we studied earlier were completely interconnected, for example while designing a robotic arm we first concern with mass, load, force etc from physics, what materials for construction from chemistry, trigonometry and matrices for movement from mathematics and anatomy of arm from biology which is bio inspired or bio mimical engineering
Also our research which goes into deep grassroot level is intensively studying or exploring a particular concept, my research is on swimming nano robots for medical applications,the major part of research is revolving around Reynolds number which comes in 11th or 12th standard physics in fluids chapter
Also I accept research is continuing learning process but for that learning you must be strong with fundamentals
Most of the pioneer labs and universities does large scale research on fundamental science and maths which are key to technological evolution

FEM uses differential equations, matrices and other mathematical methods to assess the safety of design. So mathematics is used in everything we see and touch. Na a²+b²=c² 9th la padichen but for 5 years this formula wasn't usefull for me but epo na govt entrance exam ku padikiren intha formula epo use anguthu.. ninga nanikilam intha formula just one mark ku dhan keppanga but that one mark decide my life (merit list). So education is important it may not be usefull for certain period of time but it will be useful, to teach your children..

If you take any sports, we will need to apply many of these formulas. Say for example Football, you will need to plot the players and thir position in th field, estimate the position of your team member and opponents, their distance away from you, the power you need to kick the ball, applying all possible formulas to tackle and finding the goal post, their speed, distance, velocity, angle of deviation, probability of the opponent geting the ball 😅 etc etc to pass a single ball.
Very simple example, what if we wanna go somewhere , we will still need to know the time, distance and speed you wanna travel.

Furthermore making tinkerable projects like a clinometer or using the mobile phone to track the trajectories of moving bodies, identify acceleration, speeds etc will give rise naturally to wonderful project ideas.
