Hey Forrest, that was awesome man, luved every second of it, especially the dirt road stuff. I swear; when wifey retires we are gonna get Hera our Himalayan shipped over there for a few months and ride these awesome roads and tracks you’ve shown us. Thank you Forrest. Neil from England. 👍📷🏍🙏♥️
Good to hear from you, Neil! I really hope you do that when she retires! I guarantee you both you would not be disappointed😁 Thanks as always for watching the channel, and I greatly appreciate your comments! Safe rides my friend! 🍻😎
@@NorthboundMotorcycleADV Oh it will happen Forrest. You have shown us some awesome places to visit and tracks to ride. Especially in the Redwood parks etc. Luv your content man; thanx for sharing
Hey thanks so much to you and your girlfriend for watching! 😆 It’s kind of a chill vibe. That is probably best over morning coffee I’ll give you that.😝 Thanks again Levi 🍻😎
You picked a gorgeous day Forest! Not many days in February without mist and rain. Beautiful shots of that back country and the snow off in the distance. 👍
Thanks for the comment and I’ll do my best to keep ‘em coming in between the rain storms 👍 working on one now that I shot last weekend on the “Bigfoot Highway” 🍻😎
If you’re in Fort Bragg, then you’ve no doubt taken Highway 36 before! 👍 I like to use it as a jumping off point to some of the back roads for camping in the area. Thanks for watching the channel and the comments are always appreciated. Safe rides. 🍻😎
Very nice.. really enjoy your content. I ride a 2021 Himalayan, my wife has one as well. Living here in the rural Midwest, we chose the Himalayan for the same reasons- it is superb on backroads and gravel roads. We have several sections of the Mark Twain National Forest nearby with miles and miles of access roads to explore over days and days. It's not Northern CA, but the rolling hills and deep hardwood forests are quite nice. Ride safe, Cheers!
It’s all about the national forest isn’t it, and it sounds like the Mark Twain Forest is pretty nice👍. For me, I work and play in the Six Rivers National Forest and have to say we are pretty lucky. Thanks so much for watching the channel and your comments are always appreciated! I hope you and your wife enjoy your Himalayan as much as I do mine, Safe rides and we’ll see you on the trail…🍻😎
Good to hear from you again forrest, allways enjoyable, thanks for getting out there and sharing the beautiful landscape that surrounds you. Cheers mate ride safe.
Beautiful ride, Forrest. The roads you choose for your rides and videos are top-notch. At the 17:00 minute counter your camera panned left to right as you road around a corner and I thought that was Super slick. I would of needed a second pint to wash down those fine looking fittles. You Rock 💪
😂 ohh there was a second pint involved I must say 😂 Thanks for the comment on the 17:00 shot! I wasn’t sure how that was gonna play out but I think it worked…and I learned a few things for next time as well 😁 Thanks as always for your support 🍻😎🍺
Thanks for taking us for an amazing ride that many of us will never have the opportunity to see. The ending with a beer and some awesome looking BBQ.....wow.
I’m really glad you could ride along with me, thanks for watching the channel and I appreciate the comments! And if you ever do make it over to Humboldt County, the Mad River brewery has the best barbecue in the county! 🍻😎
Wow that was fun. Brings back good memories from last year. It was great to meet you. Thanks for the bypass tip. I highly recommend this bypass for all riders. Its fabulous. Thanks for the kind words as well. You are so genuine. I must admit, I detoured a bit off the Kneeland road that you told me to take, so I missed a bit of what you show here. Instead, I took the Mountain View rd to the Kneeland airstrip and got lost back there. I crossed a gate saying it was a private road and then wandered a bit where I eventually came out on to Showers Pass Rd. It was incredibly scenic. I then caught Kneeland rd into Bridgeville . It is incredible country back there and I wish there were some back country camping available. It is country that is worth absorbing. I spent the night at Grizzly State Park per your recommendation. Awesome ride . Funny, the next morning I re-supplied at Murrish Market (where you gassed up) before heading over to the lost coast. I shot a lot of video and intended to make a video for my channel. But time got away from me as I rode about 20k miles last year. I have a back log of content that may never get published .😢 Hoping to come down your way before the end of May. If I do. I hope to see you my friend. Thanks for sharing. Cheers buddy ~GrizzLee
Oh, I can see where you can get Turned around back there for sure, if you venture off the main road, you’re in private land for sure 😆 glad you were able to make it down to Grizzly Creek State Park for the night. Hit me up when ya come down and I’ll show ya a completely new route that’s just as fun! Hope to see ya soon my friend! 🍻😎
Great video Forrest you mentioned 5 usd for a gallon of Gas in gbp equiv is £3.94 our Gas is £6.49 per imp gallon that's $8.23 😮 safe travels on the Himmy lovely scenery
Wow that’s a lot! 😳 The Himalayan get me about 64 miles per gallon so that helps a bit 😬 Thanks for the comment, they’re always welcome! Safe rides out there and I’ll see you on the next adventure!🍻😎
Watching this again with morning coffee! Love the music beginning at 26:38! Nice jam! Definitely going to ride this road next time down in Cali! Great job, again, Forrest! 👍✌️🖖
