Nice ride, wish I had some of that sunshine. Here in upstate NY, it is sunny while at work and raining on the off time.....not catching much of a break this spring. Would love to ride that area some day.
If it makes you feel any better, my buddy up in Oregon has the same problem….😝 Northern California is always waiting for ya if you ever decide to come out for a ride…😎🍻
@@NorthboundMotorcycleADV be nice if it happened sooner, but I retire in august of 2027 and doing a month an a half bike run around the US, Northern California is on the list
Good to see you out in the world on your Himalayan. Like you, I hope to get to Ireland someday too. At least see more than the Shannon Airport... Old growth Redwoods are pretty amazing. I've only had the opportunity to visit such things in California once years ago. In a car. But it sure would be nice to explore on two wheels and camp amongst them. That's for sharing such a fine sojurn...
Nice one forest beutiful country there mate, I have similar places not to far away but they are more like rain forest mountain country here in Brisbane, Queensland Australia its autum and the amount of rain we have had the last few months is way more then we would usually get so getting out on my Himalayan is difficult. Thanks again for a great video. Ride safe.
Hey there buddy, I always look forward to your videos, wish I’d see them more often but take what I can get when I can get. You know it’s getting more and more increasingly difficult to get campsite even in small parks, me and my riding buddy just got back from Big Bend N.P., a desert with 100 & degrees in all campsites, reservations, unbelievable, as much as we love to do our motorcycle trips and camp everywhere we go it’s getting tougher, three years ago just to ride up mount. Evans, reservations, I guess that why we’re trying to stay more so in disbursed camping, this reservation crap has really become annoying, later this summer me and my buddy are heading north, way north, staying in literally high country, all across Canada in very remote areas, straight up through Michigan into Canada towards Hudson Bay then head west back towards your sisters place onto Alaska again, anyway that’s our future plans come July, the more remote and less people better I like it, can’t remember if I shared a trip with you we did three years ago when we made it up to Newfoundland, boy what a trip, you could just about make camp anywhere especially on the north side, heading up towards saint Anthonys up where the Vikings landed, we will be going back there. Thanks much for sharing your videos my friend, what a great ride you shared with us all, yes although 101 has its views so does the backroads especially on a beautiful day. Thanks for sharing my friend. Rob in Al.
Thanks, Rob! Always good to hear from you, and I agree it is getting harder and harder to find camping sites that are just first come first serve. To be honest, that’s really why I like to go dispersed camping most of the time if I can. for one thing it’s free, and the best thing is that there are no people. I’ve got a new video coming out this weekend where I’m camping on the lake that I think you will like. Thanks again for the comment and safe rides.🍻😎
Another great video Forrest! Just in time to start making summer plans. I've been by Van Duzen many times but never pulled in. I like the idea of first come, first serve/no reservations. How far to the nearest store for a beer run there?
Hydeville is just a few minutes up the road my friend and they have a really good beer selection as well in the local store. It’s really a great go to spot. 🍻😎 Thanks for watching…

Sunshine is definitely a precious commodity here
