Thank you everyone for sharing this one with your friends and family. I appreciate the love everyone has shown for this Alaska Adventure. If you enjoyed this adventure, or have any questions about the trip, feel free to ask in the comments, and I will make sure to answer them the best I can. Hope everyone can get out there and chase their dreams. Ride safe!
@@michaelcox5739 Hey I used the Hotwire heated jacket during this trip. worked great the whole time. been using for years. only time it stopped working was when my wire connection separated from my batter one day before fixing it. Nelson Rigg gear worked great and felt very light weight during my travels.
I’m 62 and I’m retiring is in 3 months. Getting back on a motorcycle and touring this country is one of my goals. I’ve been watching a lot of motorcycle touring videos on youtube but your adventure to Alaska has truly been an inspiration to me. You managed to really capture the beauty of nature and the adventure of your trip. Traveling the Alaska hwy to our 49th state is now high on my bucket list. Thank you Shred Vision.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. I am glad I could help inspire you to get back out on the road. Alaska is one of those amazing places that truly is once in a life time, and the best scenery I have seen yet on a motorcycle trip. Hope you get a chance to get out there and make your dreams come true. Thanks and ride safe mate!
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. I hope you get the chance to ride to Alaska to see it for yourself. It really is an amazing experience. Ride safe!
Hello Chris, this is Jose, it was an awesome trip I’m glad we met and had a chance to ride for a day. You did an awesome job on this documentary I have been anxiously waiting for his to come out. Stay healthy and hopefully we can ride together again someday. FYI I am heading to the Arctic Ocean in 2026 but staying only on the Canada side well maybe only the Canadian side😂
It was awesome getting to hang out with you and ride during the trip. Some of my favorite parts of the journey for sure. I am glad we were both able to overcome our chain/sprocket issues and make it back to California safe. And I will be back someday to conquer the artic, and make sure I am better prepared with a new tire and hopefully dryer weather haha. Hopefully will link up with you and get a ride in soon. Take care and ride safe!
This was easily the best motorcycle documentary I have even seen. You really did an amazing job capturing the scenery in such an epic way. It was great seeing you overcome adversity and complete your trip. Great storytelling and music. I don't know if I will ever be able to plan big trip like this in my lifetime, but you have inspired me to start trying. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate the support and you always checking out my latest videos! I am glad you enjoyed this adventure, and I hope you are able to get outside of your comfort zone and plan something you have always dreamed. Thanks for watching and following along.
Great video..i bought a bike 14 yrs ago to do Key West to Prudoe Bay Ak..have put 80,000 mi on the bike and havnt started the trip yet. Just turned 71..not sure now if i'll make the trip..life got in the way. For all you young guys..dont wait. Life is short...fantastic video...good job.
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. I am glad you could enjoy the journey, and I also thought I may never get the chance to do this Alaska trip as life seemed to always get in the way for me as well. Luckily everything lined up this year and I finally had to take the chance and make it happen. I am glad you were able to put on 80,000 miles as it is not always about the destination but the experience along the way, and hopefully you will get one more shot out on the open road. Take care and ride safe!
I also just turned 71 and have been riding 54 years, I just got back from a 23 day 6100 mile cross country trip on my 2016 BMW RT 1200, Scottsdale AZ to the Catskills in New York, It has taken me the last 10 years on 3 different bikes to put on 80,000 miles, is I better get it in gear, I have a 650 V Strom that I have wanted to ride to Alaska, I lived in Alaska for 9 years in the 80's but have not been back for 34 years. The video was the best I've seen that captures the essence of Alaska. Hopefully next summer I will make the trek, but all my riding friends have aged out, or have health issues, so I may have to go solo.
@@RickGaston-t8m Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. Sounds like you have put on some awesome miles over the years. The Vstrom is a great bike to do the trip. I only saw a few of them on my way north, but I think it would be a great choice. I am glad you could enjoy the time and effort I put into this project, and I hope you can put together a trip to the north yourself some day. Ride safe and thanks for the support.
Leave mid May next year and figure you’ll be spending six weeks in the saddle. Take the Cassiar Highway as an Alternative route in one direction. Consider taking the Alaska Marine Highway the other direction to save yourself getting beat up for a week or so. Otherwise, it’s the journey, not the destination.
Hi Chris, Chris here, just thought I'd say how impressed I am, not only with this adventure but also the quality and editing of it, it's a true spectacle and I watched the whole thing in one go. Thank you! All the best from the UK.
Hey Chris thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on my Adventure. I appreciate that you were able to watch this film the whole way through and enjoyed the experience. I put a lot of time and effort in my editing and production, so comments like this are awesome to see. Take care and appreciate the support!
Wow, this motorcycle documentary was absolutely incredible! It totally outshined 'Long Way Down' for me. Watching someone take on such a challenging journey with zero support was truly inspiring. Some of the most beautiful shots of Alaska I have ever seen. The grit, and sheer willpower you had was exciting to watch, and this film showed me what it's like to embrace a real adventure. Thank you for letting us ride along!
Thank you for watching my Adventure, and it is such an honor to be mentioned among the great Long Way Down documentaries, as those films were some of my first inspiration for wanting to make motorcycle travel films. I am glad you enjoyed the video and appreciate the beautiful scenery that Alaska has to offer. Ride safe out there!
I just completed the ride from California to Anchorage in June and took a lot of the same route. You captured the views extremely well and did an excellent job describing the ride - truly once in a lifetime. Thank you!!
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. That is awesome you were able to take the same route, as it seems many people skip the southern Alaska area which is one of its best areas. I am glad you made it home safe and were able to re live your trip through my video. Really is a once in a lifetime experience. Take care and ride safe!
Thank you for filming your adventure. I am planning to ride solo to Alaska in the summer of 25 and you gave me a lot of great info. more important you gave me a lot of good questions to answer before I go. Thank you so much
Thanks for watching and I wish you the best on your ride. Glad you could enjoy the film and it could help you plan for your trip in the future. Take care and ride safe!
Alaska looks like such a cool place to ride. The filming and editing was some of the best I have ever seen on a trip like this. This whole video is an inspiration for us riders to get out and push the limits of what we thought was possible. I enjoyed learning about each persons motorcycle history that you met along the way, and was drawn in by your storytelling and narration on this one. I hope this is the video that takes your page to the next level. You deserve it.
Thanks for checking out my Adventure. Alaska had some of the best riding and scenery that I have ever experience, and I would suggest if you ever get the chance to make the long ride yourself one day. I am glad you enjoyed the film, and I was excited to interview and stay with some like minded riders along the way. Thank you for your support and kind words, and I appreciate you taking the time to always support my videos and give great feedback. Ride safe!
This was such an amazing adventure, and I really enjoyed watching your trip from the comfort of my couch. I could not imagine doing a trip like this solo, and you have a lot of guts to push through some tough situations. I have watched a lot of motorcycle travel videos and this one was my favorite, and your best one yet. The filming, naration, and music was amazing. Good thing you grabbed a spare chain!!!
Thanks for checking out my Adventure! It was a very tough trip to take on solo, but I ended up really enjoying the experience of being solo, and I think in the long run it allowed me to ride and travel and my own pace, and really live in the moment. Thanks for the support over the years and checking out my videos. And yes, I was very very thankful that I grabbed a chain, otherwise I would have ran into some trouble haha. Ride safe!
My name is Chuck. We met in Valdez at Eagles rest Rv park where I worked this summer. We chatted a bit (told you about my super Tenere). Great to see your footage. Thanks for sharing your memories!
Hey Chuck I remembered talking with you in Valdez, and I really enjoyed my trip in Alaska's beautiful land. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your summer, and thank you so much for coming by and watching my adventure and leaving a comment. Ride safe out there and if you ever come down to California give me a holler. Take care!
Thank you....i did all of this being18 on a 100 suzuki to the arctic circle. From Talbot , indiana. Enjoy your story..Awesome..in 1968 i did 3 months trip with 60 nights in my tent and peanut butter with mayo as standard meals...i only had a kodac 3 by 3 photos ...so poor results... I survived...be safe
hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. That is an awesome adventure it sounds like, especially at the age of 18 in 68'. What a trip that must have been. Take care and thanks for stopping by!
Aufpassen.
That was epic. Fresno to AK and back in two hours. Love it! Dude, 20 days of rain, that's some perseverance. All those miles, the west coast sections are pretty spectacular. Only second to the Denali mountain scenes ... wow! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking out the Adventure, and I could not have made it through the struggles and the weather without my Nelson Rigg luggage keeping everything dry and secure. And yes even after traveling all over, it is still hard to beat the riding on the Pacific Coast. Thanks for all the help Kyle, and appreciate you following along.
@@shredvisionfilms Yes sir! AK is a bucket list item of mine too. I tried it in 2008 and ran into boarder issues... so I ran every dirt road in the northern 1/3rd of Washington and Idaho. It was beautiful too, but didn't fulfill the overarching goal / desire. I'm happy the gear got you out and back without issue. Thanks for the inspiration. Looking forward to your future adventures.
@@manybikes Yea the border issues was one of the most difficult parts of doing this trip. Luckily all went well for myself, but luckily you got to ride those amazing roads in Washington and Idaho. That is an awesome area I have been through a few times now. Now hopefully a Baja and South America trip in the next year or 2, and of course a coast to coast trip as well. Thanks for everything and appreciate the support!
Great job. Very nice video of your journey. At age 67 3 yrs ago, I rode my Versys Portland to Skagway and back. I camped out every night. Slept on a sheltered picnic table at Liard Hot Springs. While I was soaking, the park ranger fired off a scare round for a Griz that was on the boardwalk. Beautiful spot. Took the Casiar Hiway on the southbound return. Slept one night in a building at an abandoned gas station. Huge herd of Bison blocking the rode at one point, so I gently rode into the middle of the pack, shut the bike off and sat there quietly. So beautiful. 4200 mi roundtrip. Looking forward to a ride in spring from Portland to Anchorage, delivering a new BMW to a tour company.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. That sounds like one wild ride for sure, and I hope when I come back I will get a chance to check out Skagway. The Liard Hotspring area and Cassiar had tons of wildlife, and it was pretty amazing seeing the forest come alive as I rode through. That will be a fun ride for you with the new BMW up to Anchorage. Ride safe and thanks for leaving a comment! Take care.
As a frllow musician and biker can l just say how much this video inspired me to ride further and share my music more. I've been battling leukaemia and prostate cancer for 4 years and only got back on my motorcycle 2 years ago. I've good days and bad days and my motorcycle Triumph Bonneville is my mental health. I'm 66years old and more determined to ride my bike more than any other time in my life. Cancer has taught me to GET OUT THERE AND LIVE. Thank you for this wonderful video, it was an inspiration and very well made.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I am glad you enjoyed the trip and I hope this can inspire you to get out and make some trips happen in the future. It is good to hear you were able to get back on the bike again. Motorcycle riding is my mental heath therapy as well, and I am happy you have had a new spark for riding again. Thanks for the support and ride safe!
Great video, I am a beginner rider, and the main reason I started riding is because of videos like this. I want to explore life not by a car but through a helmet on a motorcycle. You can miss so much in the car but when you ride a motorcycle you are able to see everything. In a few years, once I get more experience and miles under my belt, I am going to do an adventure trip.
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and I appreciate the awesome comment. I am glad I can help inspire you, and I really liked how you explained the magic of traveling on a motorcycle vs a car. I feel the exact same way, and I slowly gained my experience to where I am today as an adventure rider. Ride safe and thanks for the support.
I've watched the entire 2 Hours and 52 Minutes, and it was an EPIC road trip. Wishing you well, wishing you safe and I am already looking forward to your next adventure. Amazing story telling, amazing shots, amazing editing, and amazing music. Keep it up Chris! - Your new Fan from the Philippines ;)
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Alaska Adventure. I am glad you were able to enjoy this epic trip and I appreciate you leaving a nice comment like this. I am glad to have reached you in the Philippines and hope to ride your country one day. Ride safe mate!
Absolutely the best photography and detail I’ve ever seen in a motorcycle adventure film. My wife and I just sat and watched the whole film- amazing- inspiring-
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and for leaving a kind comment. I am glad you could enjoy the effort I put into creating this project. I am glad you could be inspired by my trip and thank you for the support and stopping by. Take care!
This popped up on my feed and I had to stop by and comment on such great job done capturing the beauty of Alaska. This is the most detailed Alaska trip I have seen yet, and my new favorite motorcycle documentary. I hope to travel up north one day and have an adventure of my own. I really enjoyed this. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words and for checking out my adventure. I set out to make the most detailed and scenic video on my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you enjoyed it and appreciate the hard work I put into this film. I hope you can get the chance to take an adventure of your own to Alaska and see it in person. Truly amazing. Ride safe!
This is a great video. Scenery is unreal. This guy is a legit filmmaker great at telling a story and his photography is so good. His narrating keeps you very engaged in the story and video. Glad he got all those quality sponsors to make his trip better in the challenging weather. Worth watching and very glad I did.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I appreciate the kind comment. I am glad you could enjoy the hard work that I put into this film. Take care!
Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment, this one made me laugh haha. It was a risk doing such a long video, but I think the beauty of this trip needed every minute to give it justice. Appreciate the comment and support. Take care!
This was one of the best videos on Alaska that I have viewed. I went to Alaska in 2015 and then again in 2023 and so your video brought back many memories. In preparation for my trip I watched a lot of videos. The way you documented the trip was so helpful. I literally followed you with my map and the cities, stops and mileage was great. The beautiful footage, your commentary and balance of video, captured well the spirit of your trip. It was obvious you put a lot of time in recording and editing this video. The people you met and included were an additional bonus. And you camped, which is not easy to do after traveling a full day, in the rain and then having to set up a tent. And I can’t believe you camped near bears! Did you have or use bear spray at any time? I do have a question, what was your thinking in taking the ferries? To get a break from riding, save time or just to do something different? Looked like a great experience. I thought you showed appropriate thanks to your sponsors for their support. I will definitely check them out in the future. Thanks again for taking us on your journey. Clint
Hey Clint thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you were able to appreciate the time and effort I put into making this project come to life. I did not pick up any bear spray on this trip, which was a mistake. The amount of bears I saw on this trip was pretty crazy. Being by myself and on the quiet Versys I snuck up on a lot of animals. As far as taking the ferry's, I have always had a love for boats my whole life just like motorcycles, so I have found that taking the ferry adds a different perspective on my trips and I have always enjoyed mixing them into my Adventures. The ferry from Prince Rupert to Vancouver Island was really cool, and I wanted to see the BC coast instead of going back the same way that I came. I didn't get to enjoy Vancouver island as I wanted because it was Canada day when I passed through and everything was booked, and also the wet weather forecast for the next week, so at that point had to take one last ferry to get back to the lower 48. Awesome views and experience, a little bit pricey, but it was once in a lifetime. Thanks for taking the time to check out my Adventure and I wish you luck on the road. Ride safe.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and I am glad you could enjoy the hard work I put into this project. The editing on this one took about as much time as it took to ride the trip haha, and when you add in the music recording process it was more than a full time job. That being said, it was totally worth the effort all around, and I am glad to have made a film that the people can resonate with. Take care and ride safe!
I rode a Versys 650 from central Ca, just north of you, to Alaska and back several years ago. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. My favorite part was the ride into Haines from Haines Junction, one of the prettiest rides I've ever seen. We had great weather with only a few hours of rain in three weeks.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. That is awesome that you took your Versys up to Alaska and back yourself. You really do see any at all. Only saw another Vstrom or 2. The ride into Haines looked like it would be awesome, and I wish I would of gone in hindsight, but I left a few things so I can have an excuse to go back in the future. The weather you had would of been nice as well, as it really just seems to be the luck of the draw when your riding in the north. Take care and ride safe!
Thanks so much checking out my Alaska Adventure. I am glad you enjoyed the video as I spent a lot of time getting the editing and music perfect for this one. I am glad it held your attention and you were able to stop by and drop and comment. Appreciate it! Ride safe!
This was fantastic. High quality cinematography and keep moving along without any long drawn out sections. I was glues to the video all the way through.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and I am glad you could enjoy it all the way through. I really put a lot of time in the editing process to ensure the film kept everyone along for the ride. Appreciate the support and thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. Take care!
Love your film. Great editing skills, great story telling! Bikes have been my life. Your grandpa is awesome and must be very proud. You've inspired me. Thank you so much.

Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I hope you get a chance to see Alaska for yourself one day. It is worth all the effort once you get there. Thanks for the kind words and support. Ride safe!
Awesome documentary!. Given that photography rarely captures the true beauty of anything, you must've been blown away as your videos were amazing. Well done!
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. I really was blown away with some of the nature shots, especially the drone shots getting that aerial view you would not normally be able to see. I think it did justice showing some of the vast landscapes Alaska has to offer. Thanks and appreciate the support.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my adventure. Alaska really is one of the most epic places you can go as a rider, but I also think it is the journey to get there that makes it so special. Appreciate the comment and take care!
WOW. Almost 3 hours of great footage. The edition is great. The music is spot on: you have talent! Good aerial footage along the way. Mainly, its a inspiring video! Bravo!!! 👍
Thanks you for stopping by to check out my Alaska Adventure, and I appreciate the kind words. I am glad you could enjoy the adventure, and I am happy it could be inspiring to you as well. I put a lot of effort into this film and it is great when others can see the time that goes into this. Take care!
Well done mate, I envy your trip! Last summer i did my longest trip ever, from Lisboa/Portugal to Leon/France and back, 15 days alone and 4,2 k km... Left me longing for more... Keep up dude, Ride safe... 👍✌️
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and I hope you get a chance to get a longer trip in future. It's always great being out on the road. Take care and ride safe!

Fantastic video. I commend you for having the courage to do this, and for a great video production. Its an enormous amount of work but you have produced, as others have said, one of the best motorcycle documentaries I've ever seen. I have an R1200GSA and this ride is on my bucket list when I retire. Again, truly excellent video.
Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. Means a lot to hear comments like this. I took a lot of time and I was glad that the beauty of Alaska could resonate with the viewers. Hopefully you can start planning for this ride when you retire. It is a ride of a lifetime for sure and it would be a fun time on the R1200GSA. Take care and ride safe!
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I hope you get a chance to make your dream come to reality. Alaska is an amazing place and worth all the hardships to get there. Take care and ride safe!
Easily the best motorcycle video i've seen! Amazing job you did documenting your journey sir. I just picked up a bike that I feel I can do longer journeys with (Tenere 700) and look forward to getting out farther away. The Alaskan wilderness is so incredible. Thanks for sharing this with the world!!
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I appreciate the kind comment. I am glad you could enjoy the hard work I put into this project, and I hope it was able to inspire you to do some longer trips in the future. The Tenere 700 is a great bike and one of the choices I would have chosen to do this trip. Thanks for the support and ride safe!
Chris this is incredible. From the ride itself and all its adventures to the production value of your documentary. I decided to check it out the first 5 minutes couldn’t move til I finished the whole thing. Absolutely breathtaking. Well done, safe travels on your next adventure!

Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. I really appreciate you noticing the hard work that I put into making this production. Alaska is a special place and I thought it deserved a video like this to give it justice. Thanks and take care!
Just finished watching your epic Alaska adventure. First off your video, editing & photography skills are absolutely incredible! You’re a very talented young man and told your story wonderfully. This is without question the best motorcycle ADV video I’ve seen, I hope you can continue to follow your dreams. I spent 30 years in Clovis after I got out of the Army, so I know about that heat. I’ve spent many years riding the foothills east of Clovis on my KLR650. I’m on the Central Coast now, and don’t miss the heat one bit. I do miss the Sierras though. Im going to check out the rest of your adventure videos, I’m sure they are fantastic as well. Good luck, stay safe and keep the rubber side down.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and thanks for the kind words and support. I am glad you could enjoy the hard work that I put into this project and enjoyed the story that brought me to Alaska. It is cool that you lived in Clovis for many years as it is a great base to the Sierra Mountains, but I think you made the right choice with the heat here every summer to move to the central coast. Thanks for the support and ride safe out there. Take care!
Thanks for taking the time to make this superb video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Too bad you encountered a particularly wet year up north, but you persevered and made an adventure of it - well done.
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and appreciate the comment. Yea it was really wet heading back home, but I don't think I would have changed a thing. It was fun overcoming some of the weather thrown my way and made for a crazy experience. Thanks for stopping by and take care!
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you were able to enjoy the experience. Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. Take care!
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. I hope you can get out there and find time to ride and discover new things. I appreciate the comment and glad this could inspire you!
I am a motorbiker but also I am editing my own videos. Sir, big respoect from Poland for the trip, for the adventure but also for this video masterpiece.
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. Great that I could reach you in Poland and you were able to enjoy the ride and video. Thanks for the support!
We drove from San Diego thru Canada to our final destination Anchorage Alaska with my 3 lil children. It was one unforgetable experience; If my kids would remember. They were busy playing their gadgets. Great video!
Thanks for checking out my adventure, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully your kids will remember the trip, and maybe they'll appreciate it more as they get older! Take care and thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. I really wanted the editing to feel like the viewer was along with me for the ride the whole time, so I am glad you were able to enjoy the adventure. Take care and ride safe!
Hi, it's Chris Wallis (Giddy Up Chris!), I met you at Liard Springs. Thanks for including me on your awesome video. Definitely much more professional than my TH-cam efforts! Lol
Hey Chris, great that you were able to check out the video and it was nice meeting you and hanging out in Liard Hotsprings. Ride safe out there and I hope we can cross paths again on a future adventure. Thanks for stopping by!
@@shredvisionfilms Hi Chris, I'm glad I finally found your channel. A new subscriber today told me he'd seen me on your video. One day I hope to tour the lower 48, so maybe I'll see you down south. Keep the rubber down!
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. I am glad you could enjoy my journey and thanks for leaving a comment. 46 states is very impressive and I hope you get a chance to see Alaska for your self. Would be an awesome ride for sure. Ride safe!
Chain tip. My dad started soaking his motorcross chains in heavy gear oil between rides in the 70s or 80s and it works great. Obviously it would be hard to do that on the road and the chain does fling the oil off when you put it back on but my chains last so long.
Hey thanks for stopping by and checking out the trip. I have actually done that same trick over the years and it really does help save the chain life. I went with brand new chains on this trip and oiled them up as I went everyday, but I think the heavy rain, and high speeds/long day combos are what wore the chains early. I will have to figure out a way to do that on a long trip from time to time. Thanks for stopping by and take care!
@shredvisionfilms I loved watching your adventure it was amazing. I haven't heard of many other people who soak their chain like that. You did the best with what you could. I wonder if you could get a small container and soak it overnight but honestly it might be easier to just have an extra chain like you did.
Hi Chris, this is Alfred from Catalonia Barcelona Spain, I enjoyed a lot your film and the quality of your images. well explained. Alaska is one of my dreams to do, meantime your video, and other like your, will be my solace. congratulations for your achievement !!!
Hey thanks Alfred for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you could live the experience your self through the film. Appreciate the support, and I hope to ride around Spain one day as well. Take care and ride safe!
This is the absolute best motorcycle tour/trip video I've seen on youtube, and I've watched loads of them. Thank you for this excellent work! Ride on brother.

Don't know how I ended up here but I am so glad I did!!! Been riding a cruiser for the last 10 years, you and your video have motivated me to buy a adventure bike and hit the road. Thanks so much for the upload, your documentary was WELL DONE!!! Hope to see you out there.

Wow just wow loved every minute. The footage was spectacular. The footage of the Pacific coast when you got back was incredible the light and mist was mesmerising. You should be very proud of this documentary. One question Where next?
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you were able to enjoy the footage. The pacific coast is pretty amazing, and I am lucky to be able to ride those roads a few times a year. I am planning to ride down to South America sometime next year, and I will go to Baja this December hopefully, and maybe mix in a few hikes this spring. Thanks for the support and take care!
Superb video mate. Was great to see some of the roads I travelled on my 9,500 mile road trip across the US earlier this year on my UK Multistrada Pikes Peak. Watching videos like yours has me itching to get back again next year as still so much to see. Roll on April 2025!
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Adventure. Sounds like you had quite the adventure your self on the Multistrada. Hopefully I will see you out on the road in 2025 mate. Take care and ride safe!
Chris ur awesome brother!!! Thanks for sharing ur beautiful, wonderful, inspiring trip with everyone!!! I’m grateful I’ve been ur friend for 30+ yrs now!! WOW how crazy is that bro!?! Love miss ur face!!! Can’t wait for the next video XOXOXO Tanya 🫶♥️
Hey Tanya thanks for checking out the video, means a lot. We miss you and are grateful to have such a good friend like you. Hope to get together with you soon! Thanks for the comment and for stopping by!
Great job, mate! Thoroughly enjoyable production and even with your own music. Wow! Those Alaskan landscapes and wildlife were something else! It really does make us realise how small we are when we are alone in the wilderness. I have had the same feelings in the Aussie outback where the landscape is vast and remote but without those amazing mountains (and bears that want to eat you).
Hey thanks for stopping by and checking out my Alaska Adventure. I am glad you were able to enjoy the beautiful Alaskan landscapes and wildlife as much as I did. I hope to someday ride out in the Aussie outback and explore the remote region myself someday. Ride safe mate and thanks for the comment!
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and appreciate you leaving a kind comment. I really learned on this trip that it was all about the journey, and not overwhelming my self with focusing on the destination. Really helped me enjoy the trip even more. Thanks and take care!
Awesome video-we loved the nature photography and how you took time to meet people along the way. My husband and I have been riding motorcycles together for 44 years. We take our dual sports into the mountains and have a blast. Thanks for sharing this trip! Cheers from Washington.
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you could enjoy the trip and people I met along the way. That is great that you have been riding for 40 plus years together as there is no better way to explore than on a motorcycle. Thanks for the support and ride safe!
loved the video, might have to do it myself, and nice to see such a great motorcycle community, helping and enjoying a common enjoyment in life motorcylces and travel. thanks again
That is great to hear that you are considering making the trip, and you are right, there is a great motorcycle community that will always help you out on the road. I was lucky enough to meet some really cool people, and I experienced some places I would have never seen if not for them. Thanks and ride safe!
This is an excellent video as im watching it I’m thinking to myself how well you have put this video together with the story telling, brilliant shots and correct choice of music 👍 you have gained a fellow tourer as a subscriber I will be looking forward to your next trip. I’ll carry on watching now from the UK 🇬🇧
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I appreciate you stopping by to leave a comment. I am glad you could enjoy the hard work that went into doing the video and music on this film, and I hope it can inspire you to do a big trip of your own. Take care and ride safe!
Really enjoyed your documentary. I’ve been watching it a little over the course of a couple days and really enjoyed the music, videography, and editing. Your attention to detail has not gone unnoticed! I currently reside at Milepost 47 of the Alaska Hwy, I haven’t been north of Whitehorse however your video has inspired me to plan that trip soon. Well done!
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure! I am glad you could enjoy the detail and effort that I put into making this film. It was an amazing journey and I hope you get a chance to head further up the Alaska Highway and experience it for yourself. Take care and ride safe!
This was a great video !! My girlfriend and I rode our bikes( Harley and an Indian) to Alaska this year as well, traveled a lot of the same routes. As for your boots, we used Klim Outlander STX boots, they are % 100 water proof and very comfortable for everyday wear, the rest of your gear is top shelf, i'll be purchasing a sleeping pad like yours for my next adventure. We are biker bunk and bunka biker hosts here in Virginia just of the Blue Ridge Parkway, let us know if you ever come to the east coast, we'd love to have you.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you could enjoy reliving your trip through my video. I have looked at those Outlander boots and was not sure if they had enough protection, so I will have to check them out. Bunk a biker was great for me on this trip and I will give you a holler when I hit the east coast one of these next years. Thanks for the support and comment, ride safe!
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and I am glad the film was able to inspire you to do the trip someday. It is worth all the hard work once you see the beautiful landscapes for yourself. Take care and ride safe!
Just finished watching your video. Reminds me of the time I traveled some of those same roads in 2010 on my Honda Goldwing. I was gone 36 days from Georgia, 10,400 miles. Enjoyed the great photography. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure. A trip like that on the Goldwing would be awesome, and I hope to someday to a cross country trip on a wing myself. Glad you could enjoy the beautiful scenery. Take care and ride safe!
Love vid so far. Can’t wait to get home from work and finish. Probably start from beginning again. Just started riding this year at 46. Did 1,100 mile solo trip around Lake Michigan. Planning trip to Colorado to hike up Mt. Elbert and then ride back home. Can’t wait til next year. Ride on, brother!🤙
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure! That is an awesome trip around Lake Michigan. My family is from Michigan and I have always wanted to do that trip myself. Sounds like you have some fun adventures planned and I hope you ride safe and make your dreams a reality. Take care and thanks for the support!
Thank you for this awesome video I am showing all my family and friends you were about 9 days in front of me on my trip except you did all the work I am sorry you hit all the rain now I know how lucky we were with weather I had the same tire problems had to get one in fairbanks and the other in yukon yamaha we saw all the same animals from whitehorse to watkins lake. Lol cant wait to go back your video made my day thanks again.
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I appreciate the comment. That is awesome that you were right behind on the trip, and I am glad you were able to catch a little better weather window haha. I was lucky enough to get mostly good weather Alaska at least so that was good. Now that I have done the trip, I will have to plan to go back, and next time I will just change my tires up and back in Whitehorse just to make sure I will have good tred at all times so I can attempt the Dalton or Dempster safely. Take care and ride safe. Glad you could enjoy the video and hopefully you get back to Alaska again!
Great videography! You really captured what it's like. Few will appreciate how much time it took you to splice together 1000's of 2-10 second video clips.
Thanks for checking out my Alaska adventure and I am glad you could enjoy the final result. I appreciate you noticing all the hard work that not only goes into filming and riding, but the editing process as well. Thanks for stopping by and take care!
A NEW DREAM IN MY BUCKET LIST, AFTER I FINISH MY STUDIES I AM DEFINITELY GOING TO DO THIS TRIP. THANK YOU MAN AND MAY THE GODS WATCH OVER YOU LOTS OF LOVE FROM INDIA
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you could enjoy the ride. Alaska really is one of the most beautiful and I hope you can experience this ride someday. Ride safe!
Hi Chris from Germany. Thanks a lot for your stunning video. Looks as a trip of lifetime. The trip to the norwegian northcape is on my bucket list. Even I am 65 already, I am still on the road with my R1250GSA. We had seen the highest mountain roads in Rumania ( incl 14 bears). Thank you very much, ride safe, take care. Klaus.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you could enjoy the film all the way from Germany. I also have a trip to the Norwegian northcape on my list as well, as that is where my Grandfathers family is from. I hope you can continue riding and exploring this beautiful world. Ride safe and take care!
Just stumbled on this. What a fantastic production of an epic trip! Really enjoyed following your adventure. You have a new subscriber for sure, well done buddy👍
Best video on Moto-Camping to Alaska that I have seen. It reminded me so of my ride to Alaska last Summer with my older son. Shred Vision thanks so much for sharing.
Greetings from Anchorage, AK! Wow, this was an incredible video. I got my first adventure bike this season - a 2024 Triumph Tiger 900, which you can actually see at 1:52:16, parked right next to you at D2D! You did such a great job capturing the adventure on this trip. As we’re going into winter here in AK, this rehashed so many great moments from this summer. I was fortunate to make 2 trips this summer riding through Alaska, into the Yukon, down into Haines AK and back. Just epic. Thank you for sharing your trip.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you could enjoy the film and relive some of your summer adventures through the video. After watching now I recognized your bike and remember seeing it next to me haha. That is great you were able to get a couple trips in this summer. I hope to go into Haines the next time I come up north. Thanks and ride safe. Hope to see you out on the road again.
Wow this was an awesome documentary. I like how this was straight to the point, good ol' fashioned riding complimented by Alaska's beauty. You are one impressive film maker and rider, and it was very interesting to see your channel is relatively small compared to some of the other moto travel youtube channels I watch, yet your channel has the highest quality videos that I have ever seen for moto travel. I really hope you are able to grow as a film maker because you deserve the success of these other riders ten fold. Good job on this one and I can not wait to see what the future holds for you and your channel. Subscribed! Good work mate.
Thank you for checking out my Adventure, and I appreciate the kind words. I have been doing this Shred Vision channel for a while now and I am growing a little bit at a time. It is my dream to create a bigger following with like minded riders so hopefully one day my goal will be achieved. I appreciate you stopping by to leave a comment, and I am glad you enjoyed the hard work that goes into making a film like this one. I have some fun trips planned for the next few years so I hope you stick around and ride along with me no my next adventures. Ride safe!
Ride safe!
Your comment about eating a salad was held up by the griz eating his salad
What heated gear did you use ? Looks like you had no problem with Neson Hurricane luggage
@@michaelcox5739 Hey I used the Hotwire heated jacket during this trip. worked great the whole time. been using for years. only time it stopped working was when my wire connection separated from my batter one day before fixing it. Nelson Rigg gear worked great and felt very light weight during my travels.
@@gpl422sda Yes it really was haha.

Take the Cassiar Highway as an
Alternative route in one direction. Consider taking the Alaska Marine Highway the other direction to save yourself getting beat up for a week or so. Otherwise, it’s the journey, not the destination.
@@us1fedvet that sounds like a plan!
Thanks for the 3 hours of pure pleasure of seeing what the USA/Canada has to offer and you did it so well.
Thanks for watching and I'm glad you could enjoy the video! Appreciate you stopping by.
Ride safe!

Take care.
Respect for putting in so much effort in recording the whole trip. Riding alone is handful but you did record and flew drone as well

Ride safe.
Wow, incredibly filmed and edited. I don’t even want to know how much time was spent editing and putting this together. Extremely well done. 👍🏻
Dude awesome ride and amazing filming and editing skills. I’ve never had a TH-cam video hold my attention like yours did!!
Very true!! Great comment.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and I am glad you could enjoy it all the way through. I really put a lot of time in the editing process to ensure the film kept everyone along for the ride. Appreciate the support and thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. Take care!

That looks like the most awesome adventure anyone on a motorcycle could possibly do
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my adventure.
Bravo!!! 👍

Watched from start to finish, couldn’t stop watching as this is also a dream of mine.

I am glad you could enjoy the film. It was quite the adventure. Thanks for the comment and take care!
Take care!
Everything about this video was fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.
Thanks for stopping by and dropping a comment. Means a lot and I appreciate the support. Glad that you could enjoy the experience as much as I did.
Every ounce of this is amazing, Chris! I’m happy it popped up on a day I had time to watch it in one go. Job well done, thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad you were able to enjoy the experience. Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. Take care!
Incredible trip...took me several days to watch it all. Incredible video...great job!
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and watching the film. I am glad you could enjoy the experience. Take care!
I really craze for such peace.Such rides and time for me and the bike...This is inspiring.
Absolutely amazing trip,
Enjoyed every minute of your video, i felt like i was there with you !
Amazing content video is probably best bike trip I've ever seen I've ridden 46 states always dreamed of riding to Alaska thx for taking us along
Absolutely epic!!! Looking forward to be able to do this one day. Alaska is definitely a dream!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get to experience an adventure like this yourself one day! Take care and ride safe!
This is the absolute best motorcycle tour/trip video I've seen on youtube, and I've watched loads of them. Thank you for this excellent work! Ride on brother.
I appreciate you taking the time to watch my Alaska Adventure and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I put a lot of time and effort into this one, and it is great to see how it has connected with other viewers. Take care and ride safe!
a professional on filming and editin and a beginner on long distance touring made it a good combination. it will pass by the time but new combinations will arive. thanks.
Thanks for checking out my adventure, and I am glad you could enjoy the combination! This will hopefully inspire me to do bigger trips in the future. Thanks and take care.
Very cool documentary, I enjoyed all of it, I’m a GSA guy and will do this trip from Texas one day..
Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. Doing this trip on a GSA would be a great time. That seemed to be the most ridden bike along the way and I would love to do this trip in the future with the same bike. Good luck and ride safe!
Don't know how I ended up here but I am so glad I did!!! Been riding a cruiser for the last 10 years, you and your video have motivated me to buy a adventure bike and hit the road. Thanks so much for the upload, your documentary was WELL DONE!!! Hope to see you out there.
Hey thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure, and I am glad this film could inspire you to get out and try something different. Adventure bikes open up and whole different style of riding, and I hope you can grow to appreciate it as much as I do. Thanks for the comment and ride safe!
Dude! This was amazing! Best film I’ve watched on TH-cam.
Thanks so much for the comment. I appreciate the support and glad you were able to enjoy my Alaska Adventure. I put a lot of time and effort in this one, so comments like this mean a lot to me. Take care and ride safe mate.
It was an amazing trip to share with us, my best wishes for the next one…I hope to see you once’s in Greece, thanks Kostas
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. My buddy Yanni who joined me for the first 2 days of the trip has family in Greece so we hope to ride and explore there one day to see what the beautiful country has to offer.
Echoing all the comments before. Just want to add that you are a heckuva drone pilot
Hey thanks for the comment and kind words. After crashing many drones over the years it is great to see that my practice has paid off haha. Take care and thanks for the support.
One epic trip my dude!!!!! Ready for the next one!!!
Thanks for checking out my adventure and stopping by to drop a comment. Appreciate it. More to come soon!
Chris ur awesome brother!!! Thanks for sharing ur beautiful, wonderful, inspiring trip with everyone!!! I’m grateful I’ve been ur friend for 30+ yrs now!! WOW how crazy is that bro!?!
Love miss ur face!!! Can’t wait for the next video XOXOXO
Tanya 🫶♥️
Not a destination.. just part of the journey.
Well done sir. Great video
Fantastic video and very well narrated, looking forward to see your next adventure 😊. Stay safe 😎
Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it. There are many more adventures to come, so stay tuned! Take care.
I have seen a lot of bikers videos going to Alaska, but yours, really inspired me to do the same, hopefully I will do the same route some day!
Beautiful shots all the way. It could be a great trip. Congratulations!
(Michał form Poland)
Thank you very much! I am glad you got to check out my Alaska Adventure. Take care.
A NEW DREAM IN MY BUCKET LIST,

THANK YOU MAN
AND MAY THE GODS WATCH OVER YOU
LOTS OF LOVE FROM INDIA
Awesome, best 3 hours spent for a long time. Top work
Thanks I am glad you enjoyed the Adventure, and thank you for stopping by.
Just stumbled on this. What a fantastic production of an epic trip! Really enjoyed following your adventure. You have a new subscriber for sure, well done buddy👍
Thanks for checking out my Alaska Adventure and appreciate you coming along for the ride. A lot of big adventures to come. Take care and ride safe!
Best video on Moto-Camping to Alaska that I have seen. It reminded me so of my ride to Alaska last Summer with my older son. Shred Vision thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks for checking out my Adventure and I am glad you could experience the ride with your son. It really is a once in a life time trip. Ride safe!
Nigdy nie będę tam a czuje się jak bym tam był dzięki Tobie 🤓
Thank you!
What an awesome trip looks beautiful. Really enjoyed watching your video of your amazing journey. Thank you.
Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. I am glad you enjoyed the journey and beauty that Alaska has to offer. Take care!
Ride safe!
