Here's the video breaking down how the reactor works: • I turn Plastics into F...
I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

Rather than using the augur for mixing, have you considered having your two sources separate, and hoppering those into a mixing chamber, you can find a way to optimize your mixing chamber, and then utilize the augur for feeding, rather than mixing
Boi got them crispy grippers! 😊😊😊🎉
Nice work dude 😎. Here to lend an ear if you want it 👍
love it
Excuse my ignorance but is it possible to invest in some kind of stock shares with your idea? Id love to invest and encourage this type of industry to grow
Beware of pressurized vessels! Even more if they contain flammable gases/explosive particles
Always fit at least two manometers for monitoring and two relief valves!! Redundancy in safety is always better.
Yo Jab! I mentioned you in a comment, not sure if that system works. That video talks about some sort of liquid they are submerging the plastic in to help with the pyrolysis. You should check it out. If that mention worked, if not lmk & I''ll find the video.
Will check it out!~
Fuses break too
Why you dont simply use Wood fire to heat plastic?
Inefficient chemically, economically, environmentally
@@Frank-bn9us i dont think so, if you live in mountain you have free wood
@@Frank-bn9us those heat generators consume a lot of current and its more dangerous
They already have done the tests and calculated it, this guy did the research and his setup is heaps more efficient than burning wood, at the end of the day wood is also a fuel and it prob makes more sense to burn the wood directly and use that for fuel instead of using it to make fuel out of plastic
On a small scale I'd suspect you are correct but the issue is scalability, this guy says his setup is scalable so you can make it much larger and get great efficiency.
If you scale up burning wood you would end up burning so much wood it would cost more for the wood than the fuel coming out the other end
Wood is cheap on a small scale if you live in the woods but when you start using wood as fuel on a larger scale it would end up becoming extremely expensive and probably damaging to the local environment I assume.
That's why he's so invested in this setup, because (he claims, I can't confirm) it is a realistic solution to dealing with the plastic crisis and not resulting in a worse overall negative feedback on the environment..
All the current methods of plastic recycling MUST be subsidised by the governments because there is no profit or even realistic way of the companies staying afloat due to them having to pay money to recycle the plastics and some other hard to recycle materials (solar panels, wind turbines, etc)
So any ways to deal with plastic and turn a profit should be highly appealing to all governments, but we know the world isn't so black and white so may not get any attention at all..
Hope this clears up your questions, which are 100% logical at surface level!
@@FrigoRealfree cost doesn't make it inherently more efficient. It's very inefficient to use wood. You'll run out of forest before it becomes scalable.
16 Microwaves is a lot
