You make some great tutorials, great work man. I enjoy your vids and different ways to setup and code the setups. Definitely helps a lot to beginners who don’t have a lot of Arma scripting or coding experience. Thanks for the great stuff, very informative. I’m gonna try this out. I wondering if you can just put bob in an animated pose to keep him from moving before the trigger activates, the join function. Or if you could just use the system join to have bob join. I like how you scripted the tasks. Could you use the task destination module to move him to the hanger and complete the trigger to complete the task? I really like the way you have set this up. I’m just wondering if I can do this without scripting every task module? I’ll have to try it. Love all the great videos you’re producing though, great intel for all to learn from; keep up the good work man.
Using an animation won't work in this scenario. You can animate for sure, but to shake AI out of animation, they need to be faced by an opposing faction and for combat to be occurring. Simply approaching him will not wake him from the animation; he will still join your group but you won't be able to command him to move or do anything. As for moving him to the task destination module to move him to the hangar, not sure exactly what you mean, but it it's what I think you mean, no. Not sure how you'd use a destination module to move him.
I’ve had a change of heart, I don’t like Bob! LoL cracking up that was funny. I meant to ask couldn’t you just sync the task destination to the hanger? Or would you still need a trigger to get a task completed condition? Your voice sounds familiar, have I maybe heard you playing in a Squad Stream before?
Sync it to the actual hangar? Not really. Trigger depends on if you need someone present or you have an !alive condition. And I don't play squad so it's not me you heard.
You can't sync the task destination to the hangar, it needs to be a set task destination module or the actual create task module, otherwise it won't display as a location. Just keep it simple and stick to the best way to do it, which is to use what the editor provides.
That looks easy ;) Thanks for another great informative tutorial.
Had to sync the taskdestination module to tent hangar in order to get "task completed". Otherwise nice tutorial 😊
how to create a task so that when an enemy radioman spots you the failed task in a cooperative stealth mission?

Thanks for the kind comments mate. I'll get to answering your questions soon.

And I'll have a better look at what you mean when it's not 5am and I'm not at work. Brain not operating at full capacity at the moment.
