Nice! Informative as always. I`d only tinkered with CBA mods before, mostly the patrol element, this is much better. Unfortunately my motherboard expired last November and I`m starting to feel mission building withdrawal symptoms! Cheers Valor.
my problem with the defend module is when the Ai units enter a building that has space underneath it their legs clip through the floor making them easy targets that cant fire back
Is there any way to have more than one virtual artillery module on the map. If you go any distance away from that module you placed in the video, all you get is an invalid range notice when you call the artillery strike. I've tried to place more virtual artillery provider modules on the map close to where artillery is likely to be needed but they just won't work. I've set them up as in your video with them synced to the same support requester and the requester synced to the player but still the same, invalid range. Okay, I've worked it out now. It seems all the other virtual artillery pieces have a much longer range and can be used anywhere on the map from one single support module. It's just that the mk6 has a limited range and can only be used within a short distance of the module.
@nigelcarter9551 Artillery has a limited range depending on the gun, and this is replicated in game. If you have a module 10 km from the target and its a mortar, it's not going to fire that far.
@@OnlineCombatBN Yeah the virtual artillery gives you 4 options and there are three that will reach anywhere on the map. The mk6 will only work a few hundred meters from where the module is placed.
Hi is there a way to "force" an assault , like a charge ? i want to create a close combat assault on a position but all my guys are doing is push ups for 10 minutes and taking pot shot once a while ...it didn't feel like an intense assault at all.
Are you talking about AI players you control or human players? If they are AI, you force them into an assault, if they are human, that's a matter for you to deal with 😆

Really ? ..Well i'm OBVIOUSLY talking about real human of course!! , i want to attach CBA modules to real peoples so i can create mini scenario involving CQB , but when i order them to attack each other, peoples in my town just look at me and start doing push ups!! ..IRL can be so hard to understand sometimes ...i guess i'm over thinking it and just need to "force them into an assault" .
just wanna thank mate... i no have idea bout activation and staff but i just copy you and set my own scenario by adding up entities.. pls do more like after mission heli ore by radio to come back and pick them up... something like that but anyhow thanks

Thanks. There are better modules out there which us why they they don't get used a lot. And they often stop working mid mission.

Awesome stuff, do you know of a way to disarm mines when running ACE? I get the option to defuse the mine but I can never defuse it. Cheers.
You'd need to be an engineer or EOD class and have a toolkit.
Still doesn't seem to work, he goes through the motions of defusing, but it still doesn't defuse the mine.
@nebulanz8232 check the attributes of the placed mine. Might have something to do with it. I don't use ACE much, so I'm not sure.

Maybe only for supply drops. They won't do transport for you. The AI system isn't that clever.
