There is no turning back now. YOU ARE AN AVIATOR !!! I still remember that feeling when I soloed. EXCELLENT SOLO ! Especially in a tail dragger. You did a great job! Your parents must be very proud. Best wishes to you in your future. Stay humble, and always keep learning.
I saw this video like 6 years ago when I was still in school, I was really impressed that someone this young could fly a plane alone and by the way she kept cool all the way, it made me realize I actually wanted to be a pilot, I always loved the idea but I never really considered it, now I am in flight school looking forward to my solo. Quite literally this video changed my life lol. To look back on this reminds me of my younger self and wonder what would he think of himself all these years later, what an inspirational video
I Soloed on my 16th Birthday too! I've been flying ever since. Now, many years later I'm Commercial Air Carrier Rated. I've flown MD-80'S & 737'S. You've got the perfect name for a Pilot! Aim for The Stars!!!

@@srikanthtammina1900 also in my country (Philippines) it costs around ~$15,000 to get a PPL. Don't forget that my country is a poor country and i'm from a poor family. With that amount of money you can already get a small house and lot. Also there are no Youth Aviation Groups/Organizations (Like Civil Air Patrol or Royal Canadian Air Cadets) so yeah that reduces your chance of flying more. I'd be better off joining the Air Force and Get my training there (First Solo at around 20s but hey it's not too late right?). I really love Aviation but unfortunately the best thing i could possibly reach right now is books, flight sims, and RC Airplanes. Yep life is Unfair.

My great uncle will be surprised by the time he sees this. He was a Vietnam War pilot, and became a commander of his squadron right after his promotion to Lieutenant Colonel.
I flew my my first plane at 6 years old and it made a hard landing every time and lost the wing a few times LOL. You did a great job I can see how proud you are with that smile keep on flying.
Great job young lady! And you’re flying a taildragger to boot! Just so everyone watching this video knows, taildraggers can be very challenging to land as opposed to the standard tricycle gear planes because the center of gravity is ahead of the main gear. My hats off to you!

Where is Sky now? 16 yrs old (8 yrs ago) solo in Stinson 108 on paved runway, and greasing it..... now that's Bad Ass I don't care who you are... I hope Sky is greasing em in at AA, UA, DA, SWA....
