I am fortunate to belong to a very upscale club where we have a deep stretch class. The instructor whose class is always full has a similar sequence. She just doesn’t rest between allowing however many other poses would be in that time frame. Great class! Thank you so much for class at home in my PJs :) 🙏

As someone who has done Yin Yoga for many years, this was very educational. And a bit of a workout both physically and mentally. Being so attentive to the nuances. Continue to be surprised by the subtleties... slightest adjustment completely changing the sensation. Am able to 'go through the motions' with so many practices...not this one.

I don't normally comment on social media but here goes comment number 2! 😉 After doing yoga a few times a week for about 7 years I have progressed - strength, flexibility and balance - I have improved incrementally, no big leaps forward just regular practice. After doing this video yesterday, today I did a 75 minute regular yoga flow style class and I did notice that my body felt much looser and freer than normal, less inhibited in it's casing. There was a noticeable improvement and I was wondering if it was because of this fascia class, I can't think of any other reason. I have been doing some reading about fascia as I was completely clueless and I'm definitely going to focus on it going forward. So again, many many thanks. x
Absolutely love this one! Fighting back from fibromyalgia and Lyme it’s gentle enough that I can do it without a flair up bringing me down for long periods. Gives me a lot of hope that I’ll return to my previous self.

Thank you for this sequence and for your guidance, Devi. For various reasons, I haven't been moving in the ways I'd been used to through dance and embodiment practice. After the first time I did this sequence, I felt things opening up for my body/mind, including deep stiffness that'd been causing pain in the top of my foot, in my shoulder, and in my leg. After two times, I'd noticed far less pain. Now on the fourth time, the easing of pain and stiffness continues, and I haven't noticed pains I often get (esp lower back) when I'd done yoga in the past. I attribute this to the sequence, to the Yin of it, to some hard-earned self-wisdom, and to your line about it not being about how you look when you practice, but how you feel. It really helped me to hear you describe how we are getting at the fascia system, and why that's important. Engaging the fascia is my way back into embodiment. Thank you for this game changer.

I discovered a new sensation in Caterpillar with "middle straddled" legs and placing the forearms on the mat, it felt amazing ! Lizard is still hard for me bc I have smg weird in one hip and knee (but my chiropractor will check it this week), but the global class was soooo apeasing and soothing for my body😀 Now I can chill a bit on the couch and then o to bed (still recovering from cov that hit me 10days ago, the remaining fatigue is real🤐)Thank you Devi🙏

excellent . my first yin yoga class. i wanted an hour but wasn't up to much., so i thought id try yin. Holding the postures is great. Made it possible to do an hour most enjoyably. I had to get up to adjust the thermostat and i truly felt more ease in walking. ( me ancient and getting stiff)
Perfect practice! Thank you 🙏! Just one suggestion. This pressing of stop watch before every pose makes me feel like on running trainings where everybody is waiting the start with the hand on it's watch. Maybe this time keeping could be solved somehow differently using the app on the mobile phone.
When I started yoga about 7 years ago I would have dismissed this style of yoga as 'nothing much is happening'. Now as I have stilled my mind and come more and more into the present moment I totally appreciate your method - really feeling into the body and noticing the nuances and subtleties, enjoying the time spent in one pose, it really feels therapeutic. Focussing on my breathing and physical sensations, one hour goes by in a wink of an eye. I would be very grateful if you could share what other forms of exercise you do, if any? Thank you so much - with gratitude and love. x
Exploring the different options before we settled in, really helped me to find the best pose for my body today. Healing from an injury, lost a lot of flexibility. I’m going to repeat this I think I will definitely help. Thank you!
