  • A beautiful practice to release tension and tightness in the neck, shoulders and upper back. It will help you to reduce headaches and improve your quality of sleep.
    You'll be guided through some gentle releasing u[per body movements (including Anneriek's beautiful shoulder flow) followed by a yin practice focussing on myofascial (connective tissue) release in the upper part of your body to increase the flow of energy. This practice will help you to decrease inflammation and scar tissue and will increase the range of motion in your upper body.
    This practice is suitable for everybody who'd like to release tension and tightness from the neck, shoulders and upper back.

    I am so thankful for this practice! I have been suffering from chronic headaches stemming from what my massage therapist calls "tech neck." I found yin last year and try to do an hour a day due to how it assists me. This practice will be my go to several times a week. Thank you so much!

    I'm having tightness in the neck and shoulders quite often, and I tried everything I found online but this is definetly the best video so far, I released all discomfort and I feel amazing!😊 I do the first 15 minutes almost daily and my condition is getting better and better

    This was a truly great practice, thank you 🙏🏼 I managed to get tendonitis in both my biceps and shoulders baking for all my loved ones during December, and noticed that my regular practice was making matters worse. I have done many yin yoga practices for neck and shoulder before, but this was the first one to really get into the upper bicep tendons, which is usually a troublesome area for me. Namastè 🙏🏼

    Second time this week I follow this session. I managed to get tendonitis in my right bicep and shoulders baking for everyone I love in December, and dreadfully found myself unable to follow my normal yoga routine. Thus session has already done wonders, I can lift my arm again ☺️ thank you dearly 🙏🏼💜

    🍀 Looked in to the mirror after the class - and noticed that my shoulders have sunken an inch and looked real relaxed. Still feeling a bit tingling and tension, but tomorrow it will feel wonderful, as it did the last time I did this class. 🌸

    Hi, love your practice. I also have tension in my neck and shoulders. I practice yoga myself and try to do it daily. I want to help others with food and activity! Trying to help others embrace the ahimsa vegetarian lifestyle, teaching people how to make easy vegetarian/vegan meals. changing the world one meal at a time! I have recently started a TH-cam channel and would really appreciate a shout out so we can spread our vegetarian message to everyone we can! Thankyou!

    Really good poses, but the audio is poor (I had to turn my volume way up). It is also hard to know when there is a new pose because there's so much talking and the audio is poor (really have to listen to the bell). I wish the instructor would talk less so I could relax during the poses. really good poses though, definitely feel more less tension, would watch again.

    Thank you! I first did this practice when I was in the grip of shoulder birsitis with no real range of motion in my shoulders. After a year of consistent yin practice, the pain and inflammation have reduced and the range of motion returned. This video made me see how far I’ve come: much gratitude!🙏🌳🫀
