I feel that this would be good with surface stains on fabric. It is dry enough to not saturate the fabric but still gives enough dwelling time to work on any stains. This may be a game changer for cleaning fabrics in cold/wet weather without the worry of causing damp smells and mould
A good transformation there dave, once I have saved up some pocket money I may consider an air compressor for my garage? If that’s how good a tornador brings up engine bays? I’m all in.
Believe it or not it's really straightforward. My issue on the day is filming as well as actually do the job. I'm basically just exploring as many ideas as possible
Interesting thought, if you've got the tools. I'll stick with steaming, just bought and SC3 premium as it was half price in the Jan Sales 2024. I just think steaming gives the chemicals that bit more bite when your dealing with an engine bay like mine. The Z4 has had an oil filter housing fail, and the entire engine bay has been sprayed with oil, and not cleaned off properly. If your doing your own services, its so much better to have a clean engine bay to work with.
they look excellent bits of kit, and do a good job, but is this method practical, I'm not convinced personally, even for the unit based detailer i think its too much messing around, still they will certainly have their place in the detailers arsenal
Nope didn't cover anything in this case. The foam is so dry and there's very little water / mist from the tornador so nothing gets flooded. I wouldn't ever soak an alternator or anything I'd just go around it
Still can’t beat the old ways. Proper 12litre/ minute pressure washer. Get engine hot. Soak with tfr through proper ‘IK’ type sprayer. Jet wash . Careful of alternator and any ecu’s. Leave engine running for 10 minutes. Job done.
Don't ask dad. I had 3 of them turn up to buy it. They gave me the money then refused to take the car until I got it a new MOT. Most bizarre thing ever.
@@epicautomotivedetailing It does look like very dry foam… your video’s are excellent and so helpful! Your Dad is star too… they do make chuckle with him in them 😀.. love the new car studio… thinking of getting some hex lighting for my new garage too… 👍
If I remember rightly I think they're only like 100-150 depending on which model, obviously you can find clones on temu ect but haven't looked into them myself yet
I'm guessing it's not a method of cleaning that you'll be using when it's 30+ degrees in the summer 🌞 it'll be dry before you can change the 2 cannons over 😂

Yes check out my other video I made when I used this on fabric. It's Absolutely incredible
Try drinking pineapple juice first…😊
Brilliant video. Amazing results. I think I will be cleaning my engine bay tomorrow now. Looking forward to the next video. Cheers mate
Thank you. Definitely recommend tornadors for engine bay cleaning
Still catching up with your videos. Need a few tornadors. ..every day is a school day. Can u send a link to where u buy these
Hi mate in many recent videos there's links to the tornador 👌
Tornadors are a great tool for interiors too. We used them alot in our unit. Allows very little mess and product wastage like you say!
Great video Dave. The Tornadors are brilliant pieces of kit as they save so much time 👍.
cheers Karl
Another great video, always excited when a new one drops.
Thanks mate
Whats the ratio of foam and water
Really good well explained and a lovely job.
Thanks Dave 🙏
Hey Dave do you find your 50L compressor gives you enough working time between filling up again?
It's constantly topping up. Not a massive problem but plenty of kick from this one
Really good work, tornador is top of my list for equipment to get this year.
Cheers mate I love my cannon. Got to try few other bits with this foam gun but should have it's uses
I have an Audi TT mk2 but its a 2.0 petrol … I dont have the tools. What do you suggest?
I suggest sending it my way so I can buy it off you 💪
I can send it for a good clean and polish after its coming out of the body shop. That will boost my little channel 😁
@@FlippingcarstobuyaPorsche I love my MK2 TT such a great car
I have it for 2 weeks now, looks good and its fast being a TTS

Yes mate everything I filmed was as it happened. No pressure washers, just dry foam and air and a tiny amount of prewash 👌
Loved the wife joke Dave 😂
Couldn't leave it out lol
That's my boy. He certainly knows how to live dangerously 😂🤣
Great video Dave, the tornador did an impressive job, should be interesting to see the 50/50 with the dry ice
In a few weeks we have dry ice blasters coming to film 👌
I spray Bilt Hamber Surfex HD on my engine bay. Swill it off with water, then seal with ACF 50.
Your method there seems a right ballache.

another fantastic and informative video as always Dave
Strange you will be when your Mrs hears what you said lol
🤣
Where can I buy one of them?
Links in description with discount code
Fantastic idea
It works so well 👌
What litre compressor do you use please mate
50L . I have a video all about it on the channel
@@epicautomotivedetailing thankyou!

Definitely not practical. I was just exploring alternative methods as I like to cover as many as possible
Impressive. But the big question Dave is did the engine start ok. 😊
Yes 100% no problems whatsoever 👌
It. Certainly came out well 👍
Cheers Simon. Was really happy with the results
Did you have to cover any components in that engine bay? What would I need to cover when cleaning an engine?

We will do that on mine at some point in the future.🤫 Did it go today.(you no what?)🤔 Dad👍🍺

Looks great… always worry about cleaning an engine… water getting into the electrics… that machine must of cost plenty…
The way this works is really good because it used very little water combined with the air pressure it's a real great way to clean an engine bay

@@itsrichyx420 that’s a good price… cheaper than my car dryer… 👍
@@markhurdus-nc2sj yeah they're decently priced i think, aslong as you have an air compressor haha
knowing my luck the car wouldn't start again 😂
Dry ice is expensive AF and it's a slow process. Very effective but expensive...

Interesting theory. Will definitely try it
As a Microfiber cloth HOW dare you call my brothers RAGS
Fancy machines, we the poor don't have those :D we don't even have a garage and running water. JK
I started on a pedal bike washing cars with a watering can and pound shop shampoo. Good things take time 🙏🙏
Been watching you for a while I know, was joking and wondering what would be the best in the conditions I described, waterless maybe? Ty
@@nunomuacho446 I know mate 😀
This is strange 😂
Run out of ideas for a video title lol
