My copy / paste comment from other demo videos for JoyToKey to help everyone with making the right stick a mouse cursor and ask a few questions; This is awesome! Got my Logitech F710 Wireless Gamepad just to be able to do this! So much better than a mouse! Thank God for this program! By the way I saw in some comments people having the same issue as me with not being able to assign the right stick up / down mouse movement. Only left / right was working. Then I found the fix in another comment. >SETTINGS >CONFIGURE JOYSTICKS >ADVANCED SETTING FOR EACH DEVICE And just change the "vertical" for stick 2 to "RX-Axis" in the drop down box. Now assigning your right stick up / down movement will work as well as left / right. And you can make the right stick your mouse cursor if you like. 😀 I set both my sticks to move the mouse cursor. My D-Pad scrolls pages in all directions. A-Button: Left Click B-Button: Escape Y-Button: Right Click X-Button: Media Play / Pause RB: Page Forward LB: Page Back RT: Media Skip Ahead LT: Media Skip Back No more fighting with my mouse in my Lazy-E-Boy Recliner. This sounds like the app I need. I swap rims when playing race sims and indeed the binding of the buttons is a disaster when you has to remap them everytime. Thanks for the clear vid. 👍

This looks great. Been using JoyToKey for some Gamepads. I plan to use this with an old Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel that is sometimes not detected by Steam Games. Is there a way to change the sensitivity and dead zone of the wheel in JoyToKey so that the keyboard input translates to an analog input in the wheel? Can't get to make it work at the precision I need for the racing games. Thanks.
How would I make a key bind for my wheel to be a macro for traction control in Assetto Corsa. Assetto Cors only option is to change TC one click at a time. I'd like to have it do +3 or -3 clicks so I'm not fumbling around looking at my wheel display or Hud to see which TC I'm in. Thanks!
is there a way to vice-versa this? i have a diy e-brake with the internals of a mouse and i cant use it as an ebrake since the game i want to play can only recive input from a wheel when a wheel is connected, so i cant bind the e-brake. can i map M4 to any button on the wheel?

Im having trouble finding the esc key to map in yhis program, i only see a list of very basic keys. I dont see letters on the keyboard button emulation either... Am I missing them or is it not possuble with this program? Im trying to make it possible to navigate richard burns rally menus without having to reach for the keyboard in VR...lol

I might have missed it in the video but I’m trying to set my handbreak and maybe shifting to my controller while using a wheel on games like forza but there is a delay when the game recognized any device change weather it’s keyboard or controller so binding to a key wouldn’t help
Thank you for this excellent Video. Im still struggling setting this up to a specific game...you might can help me if you can/want :) Its about Star Citizen. I unbound the game`s mapped input for the controler as i want to map specific keyboard-keys in joytokey to my XboxOne controller. I set up all succesful in the application, selected the running window of Star Citizen, saved the Mappingprofile in joytokey, restarted my computer and also specified the input-controller in the running order of windows as you mentioned. Ingame nothing works and i wonder why. Do you have any ideas what im doing wrong?

It's worth trying. Another thing that could work is if you can find someone with the same wheelbase and pedal combo (maybe just the same pedals may work too) to share their controller JSON rFactor 2 config file. In the rF2 folder, go to UserData\player\Controller.JSON Someone emailed me unable to get their Leo Bodnar DD to be recognised in AMS and rF2, and I gave him my config files and it fixed the problem.

The colors show that a button or axis is active. So if you press button 9 on your wheel/gamepad/etc button 9 on JoyToKey will change colors.

You just press the Esc key once you've click the 'Keyboard emulation' field to want to map it too.

Sure, toggle switches can be programmed with JoyToKey.

Whatever you map in JoyToKey, you simply map the same keys in each game.
