      Yes we’re paying the government rate for electricity and we didn’t use an agent. We rented directly from the front desk of the property. We’ve rented several properties and have never one had a problem getting the deposit back. Good luck finding a place!

    What is a good site to find Krabi rental's? and Phuket rentals? I guess you guys use airbnb then. Thanks for the info in the vid, I didn't know Krabi was so much cheaper wow.

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For Krabi, I would still use Facebook groups. You can search for Krabi rentals on Facebook and get allot of good options there. I would also use word of mouth once you arrive. We found the best properties that way. I think we go more into detail about in this video th-cam.com/video/oFgZCCo9_j0/w-d-xo.html

    If one has the wherewithal and the willingness to spend, then, by all means the chosen Rawai condo was the best choice. You get what you pay for, with this being the most luxurious and modern option. Most condos do not have 2 pools, do they?
    As for Option #4, most Australians would be satisfied with the queen sized bed as this is the default size for couples. King sized beds are less common.
    Options #3 and #4 are just too small to live long term, as they are glorified hotel rooms. I would have trouble being in these condos for even a month.
    Best regards from Sydney, Australia. 🦘🇦🇺

      We love Thailand and can highly recommended it as a place to live. We are not big fans of Bangkok though. It was a challenge to get a cab if you know what I mean. We don't know if it's due to race or fear of foreigners in general due to covid. However, we haven't experience any discrimination in any other city. We love the beach life in Krabi and Phuket and can highly recommend those places.
