Chris, my wife and I just bought in Hyde 11 just before ‘the situation’, now she’s leaving out of it and loving it, and I’m ‘stuck’ in Hawaii longing to come back to Thailand. It’s a great building, no complaints yet, but I’ve only stayed there for 5 days. She’s going on 7 months, living there, she feels safe and comfortable.

Keep the condo rental videos coming. It's really helpful that you always make a point of giving a description of the points of interest around the featured condo and it's proximity to public transportation. If I could humbly make a suggestion, would it be possible to mention in the videos the minimum term for the rental agreements (one year, six months, monthly no minimum)? I think you have mentioned in some of your videos in the past, but not all. Thank you, again.

You could save even more, the amount of money for this rat hole makes no sense.
Try not to compare it with your country's huge pay standards but with minimum/median wage in Thailand.
My sister pays 300 euros back home in Greece (Athens) for 70m^2 house and if you look for other East Europe countries rent can be even cheaper...
Minimum pay in Bulgaria for example is 312 euros (366$).
Thailand's pay seems even worse based on google, but there is so much money being exchanged under the hood that would make it impossible to estimate.
I was just curious and googled and found way more reasonable prices and bigger place around the 400$ mark, on good areas in Bangkok. Just check with agencies if you decide to do so and do avoid Nana.
Is nice and all to go out at night, but you would not want every time you get out to have people annoy you treating you like a tourist for tuk tuk or boom boom...

@@SunnyGirlFlorida Plane tickets are negligible for the amount of time he thinks/plans to stay, if booked 1-2 months ahead of time. I visited Thailand back in March-April and it cost me 450 pounds for 4 planes with food and free alcohol from London.
      @Up Skill Or Die
Frankly Bangkok is a shit hole compared to the rest of Thailand, most capitals are compared to their provinces imo.
If you don't plan to stay on places such as Krabi or Chiang Mai then you are probably doing something wrong.
Bangkok is crowded, noisy and smells food all over since so many people are in lack of jobs cooking out on the streets on that motorbike.
Locals on known bar areas are pressuring you non-stop for something ex tuk tuk, restaurants, hookers, whatever, they won't let you walk in peace.
It also has very few parks to visit and relax, but there are places.
It is also more expensive than provinces.
I would still choose it though 100 times over London if work on-line.
Purely because everything is cheaper and women are very pretty and easygoing.

Do you think I would be able to find an 1800 square foot or larger 3 bedroom apartment for under $1500 USD monthly in the city? This channel has shown even larger homes/apartments for this price but they are often too far away from the fine dining the city has to offer..and I'm a "foodie" so restaurant variety is big for me. And I really want big bedrooms for guests and large shower areas in the bathroom. Thanks for any advice!

    Good Morning Chris
Wife and I have been enjoying the videos a lot and look forward to when we can go to Thailand .
But I have some questions. The plan at this point is go and stay in the country for something like 3 months
The Apartment sizes seem extremely small and since i like to cook the Kitchens do not seem functional - If I put a coffee pot on the counter there is not room for anything else. So any apartments under 1000USD that have more space?
Also are there any cooking schools? Along with learning the language I would like to cook standard Thai foods.
Take care and we look forward to your next video. They are informative and fun

@@WestCoastAce27 Being retired will get you a one year permission to stay. Do not confuse it with a visa! A visa is just to enter the country, a permission to stay is what you need. There are many different visas and they all give a different length of permission to stay. Retired or being married to a Thai will give you 90 days. After that you can get an extension for a year at the immigration office. You need to show the relative documents and money in the bank. After that you can extend it every year for another year. If you go out of the country you need to get a reentry permit to not end you permission to stay as that will normally end automatically when you leave the country. If you are not retired or married to a Thai then it gets more complicated as then you would need a job or study.

Very insightful updates👍📉 Well, I will also say this here ... Although stock trading seems a bit unbalanced right now, I still find this period so useful because it is a very good time to buy and find a working strategy / daily signals to accumulate and grow that will be backed up with the guidance of a professional expert Mr SAM.J AVI's. what you need now is a strategy and the right signal to build a very strong portfolio with the little you have now. Quite a few traders including beginners may be afraid of trading due to this downturn in the market which I see as lack of experience and research on what strategy and signals to trade with. Because of my detailed research, I was able to know about SAM.J AVI's strategy (price action) and daily signals that are so accurate and profitable for me since the last bear market, during my first month I was able to increase and grow my account of $ 5,000 to 26 850 with her signals. But I still see this period as a very good buying zone to get it cheap and trade with such profitable signals. you can access SWM.J AVI's via WhatsApp: +1 .2.0.6.3.1.7.7.2.8.8 for inquiries about profitable trading systems ..
