I just learned of this act today 8/23/2024. It took a bit before I knew that they were playing to a backing track. I kept looking for a synth. Then it kicked in during "Magic Man" where one was required. They are very good players. The guitars are right on & vocals good as well.
When I graduated from Marine Corps boot camp in 1976, the first song I had heard for 3 months was "Magic Man" What a spellbinding voice. You, Miss do a fantastic job with Ann's look and voice.
Would like to see some of the trash talkers perform any of these songs as good their not heart but hearts not heart anymore either just saying im a singer songwriter and takes a lot to even perform these songs this good just my O pinion
What a great band. I think you all sound amazing. As a suggestion, i think you should start making originals and development your own sound. I love the singing. Instead of staying on this path, come up with a catchy name and write your own tunes. All of you are very talented. I can hear the singer's original style in this. You do a great job covering Heart, but Heart wrote that music and nobody bests them at their style. Learn from this and create yout own music. Don't get stuck here. Rock on!❤
The tribute thing has matured over the last decade to be a real major league music industry factor that lives and breathes in live performances. Why? Because there's a lot of seriously talented singers and musicians and the current scene (if you're not a pop country act as there is no well supported real country acts or any rockers left that get big label support) is dead for real new rock and roll. If it wasn't for legacy acts and these tribute acts there wouldn't be a whole lot left for rockers to go out and see. Yeah, I'm kind of overstating, but not so much I'm not going to do so.
Tribute band or not that's no small feat they are pulling off here to recreate Hearts sound musically and vocally is no walk in the park and they are great musicians for doing so.
Thank you for putting this up. This was a great performance. Noticed this band swapped out the two guitar players and the group doesn’t seem as good as this version
Hi Scott. I'm the lead vocalist for Dog N Butterfly. The girl guitarist who played this show moved away, and the male guitarist was fired [reasons I can't say here]...sorry you don't think our current lineup is as good. Not sure what show you saw [??] but if you check out our latest videos, you'll see on the contrary that we have a really great line up. Our lead guitarist Steve was formerly with Led Zepagain [for over 10 years ] and plays with a multitude of awesome projects w/guitar credits up the wazoo. And our "Nancy" [Desha Dunnahoe] is a multi-instrumentalist with a music degree and teaches music for the Long Beach school district. Both of them play Lead, acoustic, and MANDOLIN...which neither of our previous players did in this band. We're pretty proud of them and Heart's management has taken notice and said they really liked the current line up and in fact have attended our shows! So hopefully you'll check us out now and see that the band has actually grown and improved over the years. Thanks for watching and hope you'll check us out again sometime! - Lizann
Lizann Warner Thank you for the detailed reply. Understand the band dynamics and things change. Just noting that the AXS show was absolutely outstanding. You guys need to tour the Chicagoland area sometime and I will be certain to attend and bring friends!
@@lizannwarner1272 Hi LizAnn, are you Ricki West, the former singer of "Daddy's Girl" her real name is Elizabeth Warner? Ricki sounded identical to Ann Wilson. The guitarist Michael was a fabulous songwriter and musician. I believe he's currently in a band called "Inside Out" , they have a video called "Chasing the wind." Check it out. He can run circles around your current guitarist. Michael can mimic anybody! Ya guys unfortunately chose single coils for stuff that was actually played on humbuckers back in the day. You are much better looking than "Ann Wilson!" Have ya guitarist take better notes on his bends and vibrato. His solo on "What about love" missed the mark big time. Have him watch some of "Tim Pierce" lesson videos. He nails the vibrato! The tribute members need to play the part of actual members better. Cheers
Thank you for sharing this! :-) If you can please use our correct band name though, we'd appreciate it. [It's trademarked] Our band name is spelled "DOG N BUTTERFLY" [with an "N" not "and"]. I'm the lead vocalist. Thanks again!
AXS TV always has the worst soundman and sound. I mean this is all AXS does, it seems like they could get their act together . This is the best Ann Wilson of all time, competes hard with the real one.
One my by heart band alone from album bad animals 1987 classic song number one ❤
Absolutely the best Heart tribute band!
same singer drummer and bass player still preforming with different musicians and still rocking the house !
Unbelievable. Excellent
From one tribute band rocker to another....Much Respect! YOU ARE AMAZING!!! Blown away!
This is the best Heart Tribute I've seen...
It is the only one I have seen. They can play well. I wished they had a synth player so there would be no backing tracks.
Belo trabalho👏👏👏
This is a stunning tribute band. Incredibly accurate.
well.....they got some hot watermelons....only reason you got a thumbs up...I'm number 94

Anyone else notice "Nancy" playing but no sound coming out?
Is that Dr. Steve Brule on bass?
I'd rather see heart! Their still alive!
I hate tribute bands! Barfing

Something I would see in a dive bar .
C'mon Hombre.

Will do. You guys are great.
Thank you!
damn good job btw!
Nah... not bad, but best I've seen is "Barracuda Heart Tribute Band" out of Seattle. Best Anne I've heard. Check them out.

very good ,some polishing needed [guitars] but very good
The beat is lagging
No no
Her voice is too deep.
Seems like the obesity switched sisters in this incarnation....
Are y'all kidding me, she can't touch Ann! The band sux too!
