That Sound engineer needs a raise 🎉🎉 great sound quality
All the performances on HS sound great
@@douglasdog1Except his actual show
Agree, he always does a great job with all the bands!
Yes . 🤘
They've got it dialed in beautifully.
Ann sounds amazing for her age and Nancy plays like a GOAT.
LEGENDARY
She does indeed, sadly having to sit down messed with her breath control slightly. Not her finest rendition but still better than 99.9% of other singers out there be it female or male.
Joan Jett you mean?
@@Gogettorwho’s Joan jett mate
@@Gogettorwrong band mate
That voice even at her age is just timeless
-ann & nancy both ... !- 🔥
goosebumps
still a good looking woman
Even if she can't hit every note anymore....she still loves it and you can tell...they're soooo amazing.
Chills every song on this stream. Or anytime.
4 guitar players ! This is the land of rock n' roll !
I think it's 5!!!!
@@csd3384...4 guitars...+1 bass
pointless, girls killed it tho
That’s what I was thinking. They didn’t need any help
And I thought Foo Fighters had too many guitarist 😆
Ann and Nancy Wilson could be playing this song at age 100 in the rest home, and I'd still pay to watch them. I don't even care what they sound or look like anymore. They have earned the right to be eternally respected! Rock on, HEART!!!
You said it! ❤❤
ハートはライブバンドですね。めっちゃカッコいい
Absolutely 100%
Legendary rock an rollers.
Best $600 I've spent was to go see them last week
Ann blew me a kiss from stage in '76. Yep.
Ha !! wow !! cool !!!
Very cool. She pointed at me and my cronies from the stage in '78, while she belted out Crazy on You!
Nancy blew me backstage
@@hardknox1917 Really?? 😂
@@hardknox1917 Well played, sir....
How many guitars do you want?
Heart: Yes.
There is no such thing as too many guitars
Could always use more cowbells though
@@woozskee 💀💀💀
@@blackened5845 2 guitars is frankly too many for most bands.
@@ZachShannon1 They're 70.
Ann can still sing better in her 70's than most can sing in their 20's. One of the most iconic singers and bands in the history of rock n roll. ♥
Truly she is one of a kind!❤
Settle down.
That riff! That voice! In 2024. AMAZING !! rockON
It's very Immigrant Song/Achilles Last Stand.
@@Incomudro1963
Definite influences but still iconic on it's own.
@@pokerface8242 Absolutley.
It's actually nicked from Nazareth's version of "This Flight Tonight"
imagine rocking your whole life with your sibling ?!!! way too cool !!
These songs are so tough to sing. I love how Ann’s adapted. She’s a serious badass!
EXACTLY THIS
Stern’s sound engineer is still the best in the business. Every single performance sounds perfect, it always has.
YES - it sounds amazing !!! Good Job !!!
One of the greatest rock songs of all time. Period.
Yes Sir.
yes
There's a reason why this mostly male-dominated genre of music gave Heart much love and respect --
They f'n rock!
Absolutely! Not dropped a beat or note in five decades!
Ooooooo Barracuda!
Talent is talent.
She still sounds incredible, that's honestly kind of insane at her age
Top 10 iconic riffs in rock&roll history.
Jammed that a million times, good times
Absolutely! It’s sooooo dang good
What a perfect song. Ann's voice still sounds great. This ain't an easy song to sing and there's something magical about hearing the actual voice we're so accustomed to hearing all these years.
And it ain't easy to sing sitting down.
couldn't agree more , inspiring!
@@funkenstien1155…definitely. Ann is one of the best ever.
Agnetha from AꓭBA (blonde one) always recorded sitting down. When pregnant one time she had to record laying on her back while a mike was dangled over her.
That was great
Really? She’s shot.
Holy crap, her voice still gives me chills! The Queen!
Are you serious? Ann doesn’t sound good anymore at all.
@@kingsecho3351Comes with age
She’s still amazing at this age!
Wow! 50 years doing this and still powerful at 73 years!
Epic!
A Fender Telecaster & Stratocaster, and a Gibson SG & Les Paul all playing together on one of the best rock songs EVER!!!
and only one bass needed ;p
its true, they all can get along in harmony
The sound quality of the Howard Stern Show live performances is ab-so-phuck-in-lute-ly spot on!
Agree!! It’s insane!!
What was your grandma doing at 73?
Hitting me with a switch
Wild!
Standing and not sitting on a fckin chair
@@nnnickkkOf all things to be upset about 😂 Dork
@@nnnickkk I bet she wasn't making millions of dollars while entertaining the world either
They’ve still got it, and they’re still gorgeous. THESE two are my queens of rock and roll.
Absolutely!
The sisters are amazing, the band sounds great, the mix is excellent, but that drummer is TIGHT!
Everything done on Stern sounds excellent.
yes they're all great but the drummer does stand out
Ann and Nancy still comin straight on for you after 50 years!! Heaviest version of Barracuda I've ever heard, all those guitars were like a symphony!! ❤
Ya That was some seatle sympony Of guitars .. i was just noting to self How many guitar players where there and asking My self why and then That layered cacophony erupted …
4 People to do what Howard Leese did all by himself
@@ctfan1486 No. Howard Leese played with Nancy and Roger. It was 3 guitars.
@@JoyKarr
When I seen them in 85 only Howard on guitar, Nancy only played acoustic guitar
@@ctfan1486 The riff was created by Roger Fisher. In the 70s Heart was Fisher, Wilson (acoustics and electrics) and Leese (electrics and keyboards). In the 80s with the departure of Roger, Leese took over Fisher's part. And Nancy after Leese left. There are currently so many guitars because Ann wants her band Tripsitters as Heart, with Nancy and her guitarist Ryan Waters (Nancy wanted to have a well-known musician with her). It's not that they need so many guitars, but that Ann didn't want to give in.
The Wilson Sisters still and always rockin’. Love them, love Heart!!
Beautiful! Almost 50 years of listening to this.
That is insanely good. Both the playing and singing. At _any_ age. Holy crap.
Two decades ago at the Mountain Winery - perfect.
The “BIG 4” all on display here
-Gibson SG
-Fender Telecaster
-Gibson Les Paul
-Fender Stratocaster
Love seeing a Tele
It was cool seeing Nancy on electric leading the way! Ann was just getting warmed up. What a great singer she is!
The whole band is so perfectly orchestrated and tight. You can tell that they care about the quality of their music, even after all these years. Wow!
Howard's sound guys are amazing, rarely ever hear a bad performance.
Even after all of these years, the Wilson Sisters are still kicking a$$! 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
It’s amazing that I’m almost 71 and can still listen to one of my all time favorite musical groups rock. I have loved Heart since the beginning when I was stationed at Fort Lewis Washington and can’t believe how great they still sound. Ann and Nancy are as good as it gets.
More energy and charisma than many modern era youngsters. Cool.
more energy? she didnt even have the energy to stand up to sing
@@varunaX yet her voice was an atomic bomb
Props to the drummer for such a great drive to this rocker!! The Wilson girls sound amazing too!
He’s no Michael Derosier
@@robpaxson4455 True but I guess he's only been with them for a few weeks (few rehearsals) so he fills the role pretty well.
@@mbt1955but I have to say he’s playing it better than the last few drummers I’ve seen with Heart
I love the sound they get out of the snare and bass.
That was average at best
Anne Wilson the greatest female rock singer of all time she is the goat nobody even comes close
Agreed
Not any more.
@@Craig52-zq1bt you do better then lol
2nd best behind Floor Jansen
Her voice is a force all it's own.
Imagine going out every night and playing this for almost 50 years, having this much fun and making so many other people smile. Not a heart fan but this is great!
It is great. And I am a Heart fan! ❤👍
Why announce your not a heart fan?
I am a fan of 70s Heart
NoT a HeArT fAn 💀💀💀
@clarkness77 because this performance transcends being a fan and liking the music. It is great for any music listener, whether you're into the band or not 🙂
One the best voices in the world. Great Band.😂🇳🇱
One of the coolest rock songs of all time. They sound better than ever. Badass!
How refreshing to watch a drummer with chops that doesn’t have to overplay and bash
Dudes his own mixer, dynamic control and efficiency of motion are about as good as it gets...
Brother has a masterful touch and is deep in the pocket.
Completely relaxed and in command. Looks effortless. Sounds as if he plays those chops in his sleep.
That’s Sean Lane
Yes…that drummer is badass.
Heart 50 years and haven’t missed a beat. Phenomenal
THE ONE AND ONLY HEART, THIS GROUP IS ALREADY ETERNAL
Wilson Ladies, you girls rock so amazingly!!! Thank you for all the badass music over the years.
The best song on grand theft auto San Andreas!
"Welcome to the jungle" probably cost the most @jeffd.8917
Absolutely not
Wish they could stay healthy and keep playing till they’re 100,love Heart !
Nancy Wilson is an incredible guitarist. Acoustic playing on the Jerry Maguire soundtrack is phenomenal.
And Nancy don't look 70...jesus
They are easily one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
In that box on the top shelf in your closet labeled "Classic, most recognizable guitar riffs," this song goes in there with a number of others. 👍
Saw them in 1978 at the cotton bowl, Dallas. Loved those ladies
Must have been awesome!
Were they at the Texxas Jam ?
I was having a flashback to my HighSchool days
The Wilson sisters are the coolest grandmas ever!!!
Legendary HOF rock band!!❤❤
Still rocking it into their 70's, just incredible. And their drummer is amazing. 🔥
Okayyy, I was not expecting them to still be this good! 🔥🔥
One of the greatest riffs in Rock along with one of the greatest voices in Rock.
OMG. THAT SOUNDED AWESOME.💯💥
They sound better than ever!
INCREDIBLE!
this has to be one of the top best rock songs ever written...the energy of it is amazing.
What a tight band. Great to see and hear!
Yes...the band was great....loved that the drummer played it much closer to the original version than it has been in recent years.
Man, I love Ann's voice so much.
I saw Heart in Seattle many years ago, one of the greatest shows ever!
Howard said it all at the end, "FANTASTIC!" ❤
Original and raw. Great people and talented great band.
I’m so happy to hear them play with so much passion! Rock on
Still one of the tightest sounding bands ever. Fantastic
Amazing, that rocks so good, keep inviting all this amazing talents from yesterday, today and ever🎉🎉🎉greetings from south America Uruguay 🇺🇾
Sound freakin fantastic ❤
When I was a kid that opening riff was one of the heaviest on radio. Was one of the earliest songs I learned on guitar.
That double alternating guitar solo that closes out the solo section sounds incredible.
Good lord Ann was touched by the Gods with that voice!! Best female vocalist ever imho
58 now and still have a crush on these girls!
Drums sound fantastic
This appearance was a gift. Since the 70's , whenever they came on the radio, it was time to stop and be awed. One of the greatest Rock bands of all time!
Thank you Howard and your team for having Heart on your show. What a real treat, wow. Grew up listening to them. They're still rockin. Thank you
Ann,s voice is still so powerful it sooth,s me and always has she is by far my favorite female vocalist hands down.
Holy crap they sound amazing!!!!!!!!!! Guitar and vocals are incredible!
Love the Energy Ann put on this performance, powerful voice!
These ladies are LIVING LEGENDS!!! Howard and crew are lucky 😅
They're like fine wine.
Two legends. Love Heart.
Next should be Ozzy and Lita Ford preforming "Close My Eyes Forever
Got to see them in the mid 80's. Tremendous talents! They still sound awesome!
I'm almost in tears . 1st concert I ever saw was them . I was 12. In Asbury Park. I had an out of body experience :-) The idea that they can STILL do this justice is astounding. If there is a God he def blessed the Wilson sisters time on earth.
They are always just so great!
Just bloody amazing lady’s. Enjoyed every single second of that. Thank you. From the UK.
My first concert as a kid, Detroit, 1979. Was amazed then, and still am at the talent and incredible songwriting by Ann and Nancy. And if I'm honest, I had a crush on Nancy since 1979!
Also, I was a budding guitarist a couple years later when Nancy and Howard (guitarist) came in person to guitar and drum center in suburban Detroit. Still remember it.
Thanks Ann and Nancy for these amazing songs and all these years of enjoyment!
Howard does not fuck around with these in show performances. Excellent, as usual.
Goosebumps 2 amazing talented woman even as they have got older the power❤❤❤
Amazing guitar playing and lead vocals!
Ann and Nancy are amongst the most prolific Rock musicians of all time. Heart is incredible
