  • Here I test the Greenworks 24 volt 10 inch saw. I'll review the saw and its features then put it through some testing cutting a branch and also a old dried out log.

We”Just” got this saw and we cannot get the cover off of the saw where we tighten the chain. We have turned the knob Counter-Clock wise (CCW) and the cover will NOT come off. There aren’t ANY instructions in the Owners manual for this..we are besides our selves!

Thank you for the review. Looking to get something similar for a quick little jobber saw and hedge trimmer. I was wondering if the 24 volt battery would be too small. In my case, I think the lighter weight makes up for the smaller power rating.

Thanks ,good review I’ve never used the battery chainsaw of any brand. The last time I used a CS was decades ago and it was a gas powered Homelite.Just ordered a Green Works 20 v 12 in bar looks like they make a pretty good product. Thanks again for posting

It is a good little saw. I've been doing a lot of odds and ends with it delimbing, palm fronds, even large shrubs. I like it because you can pull it out do some cutting and not wake up the whole neighborhood and you don't smell like gas exhaust afterword.

I bought one recently cut up a regular size tree with it didn’t take very long for being a small chainsaw it’s got a lot of power it did a lot better than the 14 inch Poulan gas chainsaw I use to have.

So how much does the camera attachment for the saw cost, and where do we get one?

    • @LetsDoThis321
      @LetsDoThis321  ปีที่แล้ว

There are two pieces to make of the attachment which connects camera to saw each piece cost about $25 for a total of $50.
I use this clamp, which I love, very versatile. www.amazon.com/dp/B08N5RGS3S/
The bar that connects to the clamp in this video is home made from a old baby crib I tore apart and reclaimed the metal parts. But I have been using this bar that I bought recently and like it better then the one I made. www.amazon.com/dp/B09Y8PFJ9C

I just got this in the mail yesterday, only 22 bucks total! I was playing with it last night a little and it works good if your only needing a short extension from the device your clamping to. www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5LFC6L3

probably the 2 amp batteries being a little small will overheat, I don't think that will happen with the 4 amps

Yeah, for the test I used what it came with. But in reality I use 4 amp hour batteries and I have not have had any issues it keeps up with me anyway.

"Lemah": Weak. Yes very true, but not every job requires a beast. Don't get me wrong I love a beasty machine: "Ya sangat benar, tetapi tidak setiap pekerjaan memerlukan binatang. Jangan salah faham saya suka mesin beasty."

Thx for transleting, i appreciate that.
This chainsaw's price, battery and charger relatively high.
Comparing to other brand with same voltage, this greenwork is week

By the way thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Yeah, it's not the cheapest on the market by any means, especially if you look at the not so known brands, I took a quick peak at 10 inch saws and Sun joe 10" is a decent budget brand for 99 USD, Greenworks 10" is currently at $116. I see a number of Chinese brands out there in the high 50's and 60's. But more over than the best price is picking a family of tools that works best for you and most major brands will have dozens of tools that will work off the same battery and charger.:
"By the way terima kasih banyak kerana menonton dan mengulas!

Yeah, this kind of video is so helpfull for some one like me for picking up tool which meet my needs.
So far, i saw milwaukee is the most powerful cordless chainsaw with power source efficiency, dewalt came behind. And both, with others tools like makita, stihl are too expensive.
If you have some experience on chainsaw..especially cordless one. Please suggest me which tools are best for light use of carving on very hard hard wood lol.
